I think Lucario, but my opinion on this isn't much since I'm still way back at the beginning of 5th Gen Series 1 AND mainly cuz I don't have much experience with them both.

Lucario. It has 3 weaknesses. Fire, fighting, and ground. Heracross has 2 but one of them being 4x to flying. Lucario has 8 resistences and one immunity to poison. Heracross has 5 resistences but no immunities. Lucario is faster and can be either physical or special attacking, and gains speed upin megaevolving. Heracross is strictly physical, therefore predictable, and loses speed upon megaevolving.
I dunno i just see lucario as the better choice.

Lucario is stronger but Heracross is more fun to use.
So my answer is Lucario for competitive and Heracross for ******** around.

I have to say Heracross hands down, not only because he was my favorite pokemon back in the day, and its not because hes not immune to anything but in my oldest game he was a strong pull thru in all my games and he always help me defeat some pretty hard elite or gym leaders.

Mr Popo in your mouth Lucario is stronger but Heracross is more fun to use. So my answer is Lucario for competitive and Heracross for ******** around. This... this... this... I agree completely with this. XP
