Once long ago there was only one underwater equestrian race, the Kelpies. But then one day their leader kidnapped the daughter of a Goddess and as retribution Epona, the Equine Goddess, cursed the race and banished them to the dark and murky inland swamps.

After Epona banished the Kelpies to their swamps and bogs a small group approached the Equine Goddess and begged for forgiveness for they regretted their roles in the events that lead to their banishment and wanted to atone for their crimes. Epona, not entirely prepared to believe that they meant what they said, told the group to choose a champion to undertake a quest. The group chose the youngest of them, for they believed that since she was the youngest she was the strongest and had the best chance of succeeding.

And so, the champion chosen, Epona set her upon an impossible quest, knowing that there was no way for any to complete the quest but it was their determination she was testing, not their strength. Though she faced many dangers the young one continued on, never turning back no matter the harm that befell her or how scared she was, because she knew the others were waiting for her, hoping for her success. Finally when the quest almost killed the young one, Epona was convinced that they were true of heart, she had the young one healed and granted the wish for their curses to be lifted. Freed from the curse the small group of Kelpies was aloud the leave the swamps behind and flourish in the open sea.

And thus became the first of the FaeKampus.

But, upon the curse being lifted it was decided by the Gods that balance should be kept among the two races. So while Males flourished among the Kelpies, Females were far more common with the FaeKampus. Males are now only born when the moon rises in the day to steal away the light of the sun and day becomes night and night becomes day.

~Rules~


~Racial Colorist Rules~
1) 2 flatsales a month, 3 pets per flatsale, 20k per flatsale pet
2) 2 custom openings a month, 3 pets per opening, 30k per custom pet
3) Two freebies are allowed each month to keep or give away or trade

~FaeKampus Rules and Facts~
1) FaeKampi are a dual gender race but males are hard to obtain.
2) FaeKampi are a good/neutral race (you may choose which).
3) Males can only be obtained through precolored freebies and occasionally through special customs (and breedings but I don't do those! XD).
4) Since FaeKampi are Good/Neutral if you want to make them into other more elite races I would prefer they be Good aligned races (Angelics, Holykats, Good/Neutral Cosplays or OCs).
5) FaeKampi tend to live in small communities that all work together as one big family.
6) Females are rather fond of "pretty" things (whether inanimate like coral or kelp, or living like fish or clams). This varies from one to another but in general they all tend to agree that pearls and shiny pebbles are a most desirable item.
7) Males tend to be the stronger and the more territorial of the two genders and have a strong protective streak in them. There tends to only be one male per community because of this, the only exception is usually if the males are brothers then they tend to share and protect one community together.

2) No guilt tripping others please.
3) Please save to your own server when I post the certs (I will quote you when I do).
4) No pouting if you don't win, there will always be more sales.
5) I can change/add rules whenever I please.
6) I will have two flatsales a month if you win one please don't enter in the next, give others a chance~

~Custom Forms and Rules~

2) Feel free to use hexcodes, inspirational pictures, poems, anything you want. Sometimes I really enjoy having the freedom to play around.
3) If you don't want my choosing shades or being slightly liberal with anything be as specific as possible.
4) Things I enjoy: simple patterns (though I'm not unwilling to try for complex ones), multi colored hair, cool colors mixed with warm ones.
5) There aren't many things that I don't like but the main one is using all the same color in different shades for the whole pet (ex: Dark blue tail with light blue fins, with bright blue hair, powder blue body and neon blue eyes!). I know it may be your favorite color and that's awesome but its really boring for me to do and I'll probably pass it over. XD;
