[PRP] Major Ghoul Problems. (Titus/Riyo)

Another long day at work had come to a close.

Riyo hauled herself into the demon dorms with a big sigh, a strange new device in her hands. Her boss had handed over what he called 'homework'. She wasn't exactly sure how a tiny handheld gaming system could be considered anything of the sort, but he had not lead her astray yet, so the ghoul decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Climbing the stairs, she examined the item meticulously and had a thought. Titus liked these things, didn't he? She remembered him mentioning videogames during the dog debacle and watching him play something before he disappeared for awhile. Whatever it was, maybe it'd be something he would enjoy? Hell, Riyo didn't know.

There were parts of her that felt apprehensive about seeing him at all, much less visiting him on her own free time. It was so hard to gauge what everything that went on between them meant, and if it was something she should just take at face value or-

The feline paused as she reached the last step. She was over-thinking things again. No matter how hard she tried to properly process the situation, in the end she knew she would remain torn between two options. Either embrace the new experiences and risk being destroyed, or stay closed off and safe.

And alone.

Riyo took a moment to deposit her things in her room and change into more comfortable (most likely for both of them) clothes, then headed towards the boil's dorm. "Hey asshat, open up!" She called, trying to sound as demanding as he usually did.

Titus was doing what he seemed to be doing most days in his free time. Playing video games. It was hardly any surprise, it was the activity he chose to unwind and forget about the day. He was currently playing a dragon raiding villages and killing heroes, swooping in to make the kill when he heard the interesting demand from the other side of his door.

A twinge of a smile played on his lips recognizing the voice, so he paused his game before getting up and strolling toward the door. Instead of answering it he leaned against the closed door, crossing his arms and doing his best to sound properly bored. "Oh yeah, and what if I don't? Ya gonna huff and puff and blow down my door, Princess?"

Riyo's brow raised at the reference. "Not that the wolf reference isn't mildly offensive, but if I'm that, wouldn't that make you a pig?" Eh, seemed about appropriate.

"Alright then. Little pig little pig let me in." She called, jostling the doorknob for good measure. "Or I'll... Go back to my room and play this videogame by myself." Because unless there was some kind of emergency, breaking down doors was not her style.

"Well, its not like I called you a dog." He finally opened the door then, unable to hide his amusement. "Would you miss me as much if I were a pig demon." He placed his thumb on the tip of his nose and pressed it upward to give the impression of a pig snout.

"I bet you couldn't get enough of me if I looked this way." He gave up the gesture shortly after rubbing at this nose and looking at her curiously when she mentioned a video game. "What sort of video game?"

Riyo couldn't help but grin as he opened the door. "You implied it." She tried to stifle a laugh as he pushed his nose up, but there was just no holding it in. "Are you doing something different? I didn't see a change." She teased, poking him in the ribs. "I seriously don't think I could handle you if you smelled and tasted like bacon all the time."

Oh. Right. Videogame. Releasing her last chuckles, the ghoul reached into her small bag and pulled out... Some kind of game system. it was hot pink and, for the time being, folded closed. "I don't know what it is. My boss handed it to me and said 'this is your homework.' I told him I didn't play games and he said it was more like some kind of interactive book." She held the strange device out to the boil. "He's a very eccentric guy, and seemed to be really excited about it." Seeing an old man hop up and down for joy had been... Interesting, to say the least. "So are we just going to stand out here or are you going to let me in?"

"Taste like bacon all the time, huh? Are you implying that you would be tasting me on a regular basis?"

He watched her curiously as she pulled out the hot pink device, his mouth twisted in obvious distaste as he tentative reached for it. He flipped the thing open and pressed the on button and waited for it to load, standing aside so that Riyo could enter his room.

"Eccentric still doesn't explain the color." Titus was a little leery about what the hell was on here. "So he didn't really say what the game was about just that it was homework?"

"N-no! That's not what I meant." That might've been what she meant.

Riyo strolled on in and sprawled out on the couch, happily taking up most of the room. "You'd understand if you saw him. Plus I... Don't think that's his only one." He probably had a different color for every week, she imagined.

The screen flipped on and a colorful opening scene commenced. It consisted of one plain looking boil and seven very different women flashing across the screen. All of them ranged in both color, species, expressions and, most of all, bust size. After showing a bunch of different pictures of the group in different situations, the title screen appeared. Some strange, cheerful music played in the background as the words 'Doki Doki Crush' faded in.

Riyo's ears stood on end as she heard the music. "W-what is that?"

Titus stared equally horrified and memorized at the same time. Who in all of Halloween had created this.

"Well, unless your homework is to learn about varying your cup sizes I think he might have given you a dating game."

Heading over to the couch the demon straddled one of the arm rests and began to tinker with the game. The music was a tad nauseating but then again he was holding a hot pink gaming device. He was going to have to learn to deal.

When Titus brought up the first screen his character was introduced to the first of the different ghouls that had been presented. There was an introduction and then he had to choose which phrase he was more likely to say.

"Yeah....you have to pick your conversation." He held the game back out for Riyo to take. "Is your boss eccentric enough to give you porn because...that's most of these games."

Riyo's expression was both confused and horrified at the brief description Titus had given the genre. "Excuse me? A what game? That kind of thing exists?" The feline sat up and peeked over to see the screen.

"Satako-chan is my long-time friend. We've been together since we were children and often treat eachother like siblings." Riyo read the description, her head tilting at the artwork.

'Ah, Nii-chan! You're just in time! I made fresh spookies and the tea is almost done. Won't you spend your day off from school with me?'

The cat ghoul gingerly took the game from his hands and stared at it, bewildered. Slowly, she scooted over enough for the boil to have a seat in the chair as well, though she dared not take her eyes off the screen. "P-p-porn?! Who would want to play that?" She looked embarrassed enough that she might close it and never touch it again, but the ability to choose what to say did sort of intrigue her. "Surely he wouldn't give me something like that. He's not... That crazy..." She tried to convince herself. Maybe it was just an innocent game. "I'm going to say... I have better things to do." She mumbled and made the selection. "She looked boring anyways."

"Yeah. I've heard they are popular." And not because he had ever played them. No never.

Titus didn't know what to tell Riyo about her boss other that. "I dunno, is he that crazy? You tell me. I've never met the guy." And probably wouldn't. He had his fair share of maid Riyo shenanigans to last him for a bit.

Watching the ghoul make her selection he nodded with semi-approval. "Yeah, you should have seen the racks on the other ones." But as he continued to watch Riyo play his eyephone screamed letting him know he had a text. Figuring it was his Uncle he just ignored it for the time being.

"You've heard, huh? I think you've done a little more than hear about them." She elbowed the boil and smirked, passing over her boss for now. He was a kind man but... His views of the world were certainly skewed.

"What, is boob size the only thing that makes a ghoul interesting?" She would've shot him a glare but they'd just followed a cat down a dark alley in the game. Seemed like something she'd have to be on her guard for.

'I followed the injured cat down the alley, figuring the least I could do was take it to some sort of minipet clinic, but when I turned the corner, something else was waiting for me entirely.'

Jack damn right there was! A scantily clad cat ghoul with cleavage the size of mountains.

'NYAAAAAAAAAAA' Was the sound that actually came out of the game system.

Riyo dropped the device from her hands, which fell safely into her lap, and just stared at it with disgust, her ears folding against her head.

"I don't want to play this anymore."

"Yeah....heard." Titus looked away shortly as he said that but focused back on the game as they followed a cat down the alley. What came out of the game could have only been described as ear splitting and Titus jerked back, looking at the game with unease.

"I have to say this isn't my usual caliber of game." He was about to poke fun and tease her about her boss again but his phone went off a second time with yet another text. With a sigh he dug his eyephone out of his pocket to see what his Uncle wanted but as soon as he unlocked the screen he realized it wasn't his Uncle who had been contacting him.



Titus was a fairly pale individual but his face suddenly went paper white, wide eyes staring at the screen of his phone in true horror.

Riyo chose that moment to fold the system shut with a discontented sigh. What was she supposed to learn from this? How men only cared about tits?

Un-distracted by the game now, her eyes shifted to him as the muffled sound of a text being received played again. "I'm surprised that phone even rings." With as antisocial as he was, who could possibly be texting him?

The game was carefully tucked away in her bag as the boil started to panic. She couldn't recall seeing him so... Worried before. "Woah, calm down. Is the mafia after you or something? Parents making a surprise visit?" Not like he had anything to hide here. His room was basically pristine.

Hm. "Well, running around your room isn't going to help you get anywhere faster. Why don't we start driving and figure it out later?" She tried to grab his hand and tug him towards the door, though at this point she was extremely curious to see what he could possibly be running from.

There was a small laugh bubbling up with a hint of hysteria. "The mafia. If only." It would have honestly been a blessing if that was the case. No, it was much much worse.

The nightmare demon was too frazzled to think but luckily Riyo was leading him toward the door. "Right. Drive. Good plan. We just need to get down the stairs and out the door without being unseen."

It worked so flawlessly in his head, too bad the fates had another plan. They were nearly at the door when a cheerful knock rapped against it, the rhythm like a short tune. There was only a seconds pause when a sing songy voice called out. "Titus~ Guess who~"

The demon stopped in his tracks, scrambling back a few feet like the door was cursed. "It's too late..."

"Yeah. I know. I'm full of them." She mumbled and rolled her eyes, about to turn the knob when a chipper, feminine voice called from the other side. Suddenly Titus was half way to the other side of the room.

One eyebrow raised as she glanced from the door to him, her arms folding. "What're you worried about?" She called out quietly. "You don't have to let them in." Seriously. It sounded like some pathetic little ghoul. Maybe his sister? His mother trying to reclaim her younger years? "Who is it anyways?"
