Blood, sweat, and tears have paved the road to victory for the two strongest teams in North America – Team Solomid & Cloud 9. Tonight, history will be written about the journey of these two teams throughout the 2014 Season. The contest will focus on these two dominate teams, as they battle not just the other top teams in the North American scene, but each other for the top spot. Can Cloud 9 once again reign at the top? Will TSM’s new mid, Bjergsen be able to put TSM back on top? What surprises wait for both of these teams in the next season? These, and many other questions will be answered, as well as analytical comparisons of both teams.
Welcome to "Chasing the Cup” This contest will not be about the games between the two team but the Scrims and Practice they do to become the best in North America. Today you will be doing the same (sorta) training as the pros.
Mission 1: Jungle Contesting is a very key strategy in order to win the early game and then transition well into the late game. One false move can cost your team a lot of gold or even a buff. The two winners will then face each other in a DTI Card Battle. There will be some special rules for the Contest but the current card rules will apply. Mission 2: Every Patch the meta of the game changes, weather it be a new item, buffs/nerfs to champions or the most interesting one, new champion released! This week its Goblimon the God Slayer. Goblimon's passive says that once he picks up his boomerang, he will transform into a terrible monster. Unfortunately you do not know where his boomerang is. Mission 3: This is by far the most important part of the game. SKINS WINS GAMES! In a game where you don't have to pay for anything to get the upper hand in, Skins are more important then anything else. They show who likes to murder their wallets and who aren't pro enough to have one. For this mission, click this link and recolor or design a new look for the following Digimon. Mission 4: Baron Nashor is the main reason people lose games. If your opponent catches your team taking baron well you will be in a pickle. So when your team attempts to take Baron, you need to find a way to distract your enemy. A good joke or two never hurts, it forces them to type and not look at the map. Mission 5: This is the most fun part of practice. Backdoor the Enemy Nexus. Your enemy is attacking you and will kill you before you can end the game. You must juke all the skill shots and tank all the auto attacks. RNG 10 Ten-sided Dice and get 75 or higher. Stingmon won by Shadow of Miracles
