o Follow the Gaia Guild TOS. No questions asked.
o Be Lazy-Lit to Advanced-Lit. This means no asterisks (*), hyphens(-), or any of these symbols to show an action. Have complete sentences as well as correct grammar and punctuation! No one likes one liners that you can't understand... Or a tiny response for that matter.
o You must be accepting to all LGBTQ+ members.

o No Godmodding! This means doing actions for another user's character without their permission. Do not assume your actions automatically affected others; i.e. punching them perfectly when your character threw a punch. This includes Metagaming! This means your character acts off of knowledge they can't reasonably be expected to have. i.e. Reading someone's profile and your character "already knowing" what they are or like before talking to them.
o To stay active, we only request that you post once every 3 weeks. That's not so hard, right? This begins after your profile is accepted. If you join the Guild, put a profile for U/C, and never finish it within a month? This also counts as inactivity! And please try to remember to be polite about it. No one likes being left hanging in an RP. If you don't have time to reply, let them know! It's not required, but it is the polite thing to do. 3nodding
o Keep the OOC talk in either the OOC subforum or somewhere in your post where we know it's OOC!
o When posting up your profile in the "Pending Profiles" subforum, don't be afraid to go for it. We will look over the profile and tell you if it has any problems or if something is missing.
o A crew request: It will take a "buffer period" of anywhere from one to five days for someone to reach your profile. So please do not PM, DM, or mention in the Discord that your profile is complete as soon as you complete it - we've gotten the quotes and check the pending profiles subforum pretty much daily.
o Place a cupcake in your profile so we know you read the rules~. Don't know where it is? Pull down the "Normal" button and drag it down to Yummies. Then pick the pink cupcake!
o Remember! We ask that you respect those around you. If something is bothering you, please don't be afraid to come to us. We want this to be a polite and fun community for you guys. But we need you to make it happen. heart

o Characters must be approved before you begin roleplaying.
o Your character must be an original character. Please do not make Canon characters or relations to Canon characters.
o Everyone is required to have a posting format per character! These formats will need to include your character's name and a character picture. You're free to make it as simplistic as possible so long as we and others can see who you're posting as.
o Related characters and family members that are not approved profiles CAN visit. However, they must have their own posting format and trryyyy not to make it a habit to have them here that often. If you want them to become something frequent, we really recommend you making them into an official character for you to own!
o Characters must be at least 18 years old.
o Keep it PG-...13? We can assume we're all adults here. (I think.) When it gets to the part that the clothes are all the way off and you plan on d-d-d-doin' it? Cover it up in a PM or skip it!
o People are not their characters. If you feel like someone's being rude? Remember, it's just a roleplay! They might not intentionally be being rude to you. Don't be afraid to make conversation if something is bothering you.
o Do not just assume someone is your soul mate. Talk about it in OOC or in a PM! Just ask 'em and see how it goes!
o Ask permission from a roleplayer if you plan to do something to their character. i.e.: Successfully steal from them, punch them, etc.
o When the day change occurs, don't ignore it! There's a reason we put that there. No "exit" posts after the day post has already been made in the forum. However! That being said, you're more than welcome to place a few "reserved" posts if you feel you won't be able to finish an important plot point. But! They must be filled in within one month and there can only be 5 at most from each of you. (I.E. You, them, you, them, you, them, you, them, you, them.) Keep in mind! These reserves will only be held on to for one month's time. After that, they will be removed.

o ONLY six abilities are allowed. Please don't add more than the given number of ">"s!
o Clones are allowed. However, there must be some way to identify it being a clone - whether it be the eye color, slightly off hair color, or the voice recognition.
o If you choose an element - it must be one element!
o You cannot just write "magic". Please specify! Usually we'll allow you about one spell per ability. So for example, if you're playing a witch, wizard, etc., then you'll be granted 6 slots for 6 spells. 3nodding
o Wish granting! Wish granting is one of our hardest abilities to limit. So we've boiled it down to this: Wish granters are only allowed to grant 3 wishes per person (much like the usual genie in moves/books/etc). These wishes cannot grant monetary value, neighborhood changes, permanent ability changes, or anything that pertains to the character's original profile. If a character is to wish for an ability, this will be "temporary" and exchanged for another ability for a total of 4-5 posts; this is the same rule for wishing someone to fall in love with them (with the oc user's permission of course). Wishing for another character's death/demise/ or other misfortune will require permission from the oc's user. And finally, no one can wish for more wishes.
o Try to keep your character, at maximum, about 40 feet if they can transform into a mythical beast or giant!
o 99% of the time, I won't count a transformation as an ability! So for example, wolf shifters and werewolves do not count their transformation as an ability. It's a granted! This, however, does not work for shapeshifters or skin walkers and the like.
o Super strength has an "easy cap" of anywhere between 3000 and 4000 pounds. Which means after they hit 1500, it'll be a struggle for said character!
o Super speed also has a cap of around 250 mph - a little faster than a typical race car! c:
o If your character has a "controlling" ability (i.e. how sirens can sing and attract/control their victims), there must be two points of contact. This can be eye contact and physical touch - this can be eye contact and singing, etc! As long as there are two. Otherwise, it's not complete control!
