NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!

1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!


Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Sucre would normally not be very enthusiastic to attend a class, but the first class of her school year was an exception. There was something exciting about attending that first class. She made no attempt to lower her energy level as she practically skipped down the hallway, her gooey hair whipping around and occasionally leaving a glop of goo behind. She threw open the door rather violently, but a grin was spread across her face. She hardly minded the stares she received and scanned the classroom for a spot.

As eager as she was, she never cared for the front desks, and this time she was considering the dummies that rested atop each desk more than locations. The desks had spots for two so partnering was an option. Sucre would not pass up partner work! Who looked like fun to work with....?

Sorrel really does hope that class would be good today. So far he really hasn't had the most fun at all being at the Academy for he just came near death with a student who was about to eat him. He hates it so much . . . all that he wished is for a friend, but apparently that could be too much.

He walked into the First Aid class, all while avoiding the globs of pinkish goo on the floor. "What is this?" The Dormouse wondered as he squats down to see it better. It does smell sweet, and it seemed to trailed inside of the classroom to a ghoul with very . . . gooey hair? She was a different slime that he ever met, and then he looked over for a seat and noticed that they have to do pair work. The boil sighed deeply, he didn't want to do any partner work at all.

Instead of looking for a partner, Sorrel decided to just pick an empty desk and set his stuff down. While waiting for a (friendly) partner, he decided to take the time for snack time. He open up his backpack and took out a pretty little lunch box that was full of sweet spookies and tea cakes he made and happily enjoyed them.

Sucre hadn't really noticed the other student sneak in, as her focus had been elsewhere and perhaps because he was so small, he didn't demand much of the space he occupied. It wasn't until he sat down that she had even really spotted him. She considered the mouse-boil a moment, her opinion undecided till he opened up a cute little lunch box of sweets. Sucre couldn't hide the surprise and sudden interest.

If Sucre ever worried about anything, she might try and tone down her level of enthusiasm,. As it was she hardly cared or noticed how strong she came on. Quickly, a grin spread across her face, she headed for the mouse-boil with large quick steps, her hair still occasionally dripping a bit. She was fast and eager, but her demeanor was friendly if not slightly overzealous.

"Hi I'm Sucre, would you like to be partners? I promise I will try not to...a.." She stumbled a bit, as you couldn't really 'kill' the dummy right, "destroy our dummy!" The whole time she said this, her voice peppy, her, probably thankfully, gloved hand was extended outward and her eyes were on his exposed sweets the whole time.

As he snacked, he was looking at the box he used to store his sweets and ponders a bit. "Maybe I should have bought my own . . . and not my mom." Mutters to himself as he stares at the box. It looked nice, but it was too cute and not what he wanted to be. When he ate a spookie, he was spooked by hearing a sudden voice right at his side. Sorrel almost dropped his food as he looked to see that it was the sugar slime ghoul he saw. She introduced herself and wanted to be partners, and that had surprised him even more. "O-Oh! Sure! My name is Sorrel . . ." He extends his hand out to grab hers for a hand shake.

Having a partner now, they have to do work now as he closed up his box of sweets and pushed it away at a safety distance to work on the dummy. It made him very happy for he did thought that he is going to be working by himself for class. "So what should we do first now?"

Sucre smiled and shook his hand vigorously. Her eyes flitted back to his box of treats as he pushed it away, her pouty lips betraying her feelings. She sprung back quickly.

"Oh well I suppose we should figure out what is wrong with it?" She poked lightly at the dummy. It had horrible dry almost wrinkly skin and as a bit of her hair-goo dripped onto the dummy it quickly sizzled and dried up. Her eyes, barely visible under her goo-hair, were wide.

She tentatively stuck out a gloved finger and poked the dummy's side even harder. It took a second for the heat to filter through the fabric but once it did she pulled her hand back. "It's really hot and it's skin is weird." She offered, still not sure what to make of it.

Sorrel thought that he was going to lose his hand from that handshake, but she was just being very excited and happy. Although, he wondered about the pouty lips he just saw, glancing back to the box of sweets before looking at the task at hand as he nod in agreement.

It made him cringe in seeing the dummy looking so dry and wrinkly, gasping softly when the drop of goo had sizzled on the dummy's body. "Oh wow! Let's see here then . . ." Looks through the class textbook to see the symptoms of the dry, hot skin. He thumbed through the pages as he looked over to Sucre, then to the box of sweets he had. ". . . d-do you want some?" It would be nice to make some friends, if the sweets can help. He pushed the box over between them and open it up for Sucre to see. "We can snack on as we work . . . if you want."

Finding the page in the book, his tail swayed in feeling happy of what he found. "Okay, it seemed to have a heat stroke . . . and what to do is right here . . ." Slips his hand over to grab a mini brownie bite to eat before starting on the work.

This boil seemed to be really smart, Sucre watched him intently, eyeing the book over his shoulder. Her mouth grew into a large smile.

"Oh, sure, Thanks!" she nodded and plucked a small cake-bite from the box. Sorrel was so nice! After taking a moment to enjoy the sweet, she focused back on the textbook.

"That makes sense, this poor dummy is way too hot." Her attention was already on the supplies though. She dug through the box of them and plucked out some ice packs. "Maybe if we put some ice packs on him he'll cool down?" She offered.

Sucre placed a couple of packs off to the side toward Sorrel and placed two of her own around the dummy's head. It sizzled but died down after a couple seconds. Maybe it had worked?
