Coralyn was quite happy being around someone who matched her positive frequency so much. It made her beam even brighter. Camil wasn't quite this bubbly, or even close to it sometimes. He didn't require her validation or praise, she could barely reach his head to pat him even if she wanted to. They were two different people and Coralyn found herself thinking about their contrasting personalities quite a bit, but she didn't mean to compare them, they were two wonderful people and both were great in their own way. The two made her happy in their own ways.
Patting his head brought out a reaction she never expected, her eyes glistening brightly from seeing him like that. He was so adorable, what did she ever do to deserve spending time with him? She chuckled softly, drawing her hand away as she didn't wish to make it any more odd than it could get if she made him feel that way by prolonging it.
Watching the male attempting the sign she just did to display her thankyou, she noticed him exaggerate it quite a bit. Now Coralyn was pretty simple, unless one would outright tell her that their intentions were, she would only take them for what she thought of them to be, nothing harmless. His wink simply made her chuckle, nodding as he asked her if he did good. She held her thumbs up as she continued to nod. "Very good" she would type, passing him a smile.
The man seemed quite intrigued by the trains, maybe his own interest was what lead them here but her own memories lit up her mood as she watched the train move on the tracks. She could almost picture her grandfather's amused face as he'd watch the specticle before them and speak of its beauty in his thick French accent, using his thick wrinkly fingers to practice his sign. Unlike Amir though, he was a little more fluent though still rusty. Her eyes cast back on him as he broke her from her trance when spoke, her lips curling into a smile before she continued to follow his trail. She snickered from his remark and rose her shoulders lightly in a little shrug. She dropped her head lightly, letting her hair gently cup her face as she typed, raising her palm to brush her locks behind her ear. "Maybe to show the transition from historic to modern?" she displayed her phone to him, passing him a light smile.
The woman couldn't help but burst out into laughter when he jumped, shaking her head lightly at his reflex, patting his back gently to assure him it was alright. She wanted to assure him but she didn't know what would be the best to say at this moment, giggling still.

As the two walked to the Museum, Mark would remain relatively quiet but made sure to point out different points of interest for the other man to see and know what they were. The Grocery store, different restaurants that were in the area, and different shops that filled it. He tried to be as helpful as possible but he ended up only giving a vague description since he himself hadn't been to half the stores here. As they continued walking Mark would admit that he'd only passed by there once or twice so going off of memory he wasn't entirely sure where precisely the museum actually was. Thankfully however his memory didn't fail him and a sign pointing to the Essence De Soleil which was a huge relief to Mark as he nodded in the signs direction it was pointing"We're nearly there"he pointed out before another minute or so of walking until the building came into view and he smiled a little bit to Damen as thankfully the crowds seemed be at a minimum today. That is if the lack of cards in the parking lot were anything to go by at least. With that Mark would happily walk up to the building and grabbed a map of the building"So um...where do you wanna start? It has an animal exhibit..art...even and an area dedicated to the history of this city" he asked his companion with a curious look as he ran his fingers through the steel blue hair as he thought about where to go first.

Instead of talking, he listened intently to his friend as they explained what everything was. And even if they couldn't always fully explain buildings, it helped to have at least a gist of what they were, so Mark was still helping the man a large deal. When they reached the museum, the first that Damen noticed was that the building was immense. He did expect a larger building, but this was even bigger than he imagined. It didn't seem like there were many people at this hour however. The demon, too, looked at the parking lot for a moment before turning his attention back to the museum and his companion as they walked in.
"Hmm, let's see." he said as he looked at the map in Mark's hands. It all looked interesting though, so Damen smiled and shook his head before he looked at the route through the building. "How about we start with the exhibition of animals and then follow the paths as they branch out to other themes? Unless you have an area you'd really want to go to first." he asked Mark. Of course if Mark wanted to go to a specific exhibition, then he would happily come with. They were here to see the entirety of the museum anyway. And if they didn't make all of them in their first visit they could always return. They also had dinner and the theater later that day of course. With that question Damen waited until Mark would reply. Depending on what they would say, they would take a direction. Of course Damen was curious to all of it, but mostly the man was just enjoying the company and the missed time of having friends to do normal things with.

Mark would stare down at the map in contemplation as Damen took a look at it himself. The young man would wait for a moment as the other looked over the map and all the areas it had to offer. Once the other man spoke Mark would glance down for a moment and looked over to the animal exhibit before offering a small smile to the other man and nodding his head in agreement"N..no I like that plan, it'll be nice to um..to just see where we end up"he spoke in pleased tone. Mark was more than happy with the idea, the branching paths to the other areas that were there would be nice to just wander down the halls to just see where it would take them. As he had no real set plan or areas he wanted to see Mark would just be more than happy to just go with the flow of it all and see where it took them. He would put the map away in his pocket before wandering with Damen down the hall towards the animal exhibit. It was honestly really neat, he had been expecting a lot of just stuffed animal bodies but he was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a wide variety of items on display from sharks teeth, preserved animal skeletons, and of course stuffed animal bodies, all of which ensured that each had died of natural causes before donation. It was nice to know that these animals weren't killed just to gather dust in a museum and lived full lives. They also had areas dedicated to marine life as well as insects although Mark tried his best to avoid the insects area just because he knew that with the ladybugs and butterflies on display there would also be spiders and other creepy crawlies that wasn't a fan of. Mark would stop in front of a large stuffed zebra and read the plaque that was there"Just like human fingerprints, zebras stripes are all unique them them where no two are completely similar...huh..."Mark read from the plaque in front of him, he most certainly did not know that little fact. He would then glance over at Damen to see how he was doing and to see if he found anything interesting.

Agreed upon the path to take around the museum, Damen walked with Mark towards the animal exhibit. He honestly didn't know what to expect, as most his museum visits had been focused on art and nothing else, but he wasn't disappointed. The exhibit turned out to be a huge area of information that showed how animals were built, what their skills and habits were. It was really amazing. Unlike Mark, the demon had no problem whatsoever to visit the insect area, even leaning forward a bit to have a good look at the large spider they had in the habitat but then he turned back to his companion when they spoke and he walked towards them at the stuffed zebra. "Magnificent is it not? The animal world has always fascinated me with how they cope with the sudden changes and how they live their life and try to outsmart each other." Damen said and smiled to his friend.
"I saw snakes and lizards over that way," Damen said and gestured passed the insect area to the room behind it. Even from here you could see one of the terrariums, but of course the snake couldn't be seen from this distance. "I wonder if they have a bird or butterfly area." the demon mused his thoughts but then he looked at his companion. "This place is great. Thank you for bringing me here." he said to Mark with a smile before he would move towards the next area that had the snakes and lizards. The place was so big with animals alone, Damen wondered if one could ever see all different exhibits in one day. Not that it minded if they couldn't, he would gladly come back here someday. With or without Mark, but preferably with.

Mark turned his head and saw Damen looking over a spider in one of the exhibits which caused the younger man to shiver a bit. How some people could get so close to those awful creatures were beyond him, granted he was a coward so it went without saying he supposed. He'd turn his head to see the anatomy of the zebra's and their different pack behaviors like how they would sometimes try to protect a mother and child from lions. It certainly was interesting to say the least. Mark would then turn his head and smiled a bit at Damen when the other man approached him and nodded his head"Y..yeah. It all really is neat"he spoke before listening to Damen as he spoke and nodded his head once again, all well said. Animals really were so interesting with how they lived day to day and going off of their instincts than any form of logic or reasoning. When the other man mentioned the reptiles exhibit Mark became a bit apprehensive, while he certainly didn't fear snakes as badly as spiders he still didn't care for them. However as long as he stuck with Damen he should be fine to approach the exhibit and with that in his mind Mark would nod his head and smiled a little bit "Right..."the younger man would speak with a small smile on his face before he paused to look around for a moment at the area and anything that would hint at other exhibits"W..well I think there's um..there's the bird exhibit around the..corner"he was of course just assuming he saw some more photos of birds leading down to that area before nodding over to a doorway with some people going in and out by the insects"And um..maybe the butterflies are in there?"by this point Mark was just guessing and he most certainly could have been wrong. However when Damen thanked him for bringing him to the museum Mark could feel his face begin to flush just the slightest bit before shaking his head. Why was he flushing over it, it was just a simple thank you! But then it was still simply a kind gesture that most normal people were used to, Mark wasn't normal, so such a simple thing was able to fluster him rather easily"It...it's no problem! I..I um..I've been wanting to come here but...I've just been so...y..you know...preoccupied with my...job hunt..."he spoke truthfully. He had intended to come here alone one of these days but he's always been busy with other things in his life to really think about it. With that Mark would follow after Damen towards the reptile area and paused a bit when they actually had a live snake, he thought this was a museum!? The younger man instinctively took a step back from the case as he stared at the large reptile and instead focused on the plaque"The largest snake in the world kept in captivity is a python at twenty five feet long..."he read quietly to himself before looking down at the animal and shivered a bit"T..twenty five feet l..long...ugh...."he was getting chills just thinking about it, that was large enough to eat a person! It seemed to be feeding time as a keeper walked in and gave an audible warning to the few present guests who might be a bit squeamish to look away, or if they were interested, to watch as a live rat was placed into the tank. Mark's eyes widened in horror before hiding behind Damen and squeezing his eyes shut"Tell me when it's over..."he muttered to aloud to Damen as the large snake quickly honed in on the rat scurrying around the cage before striking and eating the rodent.

Once he received the text that the other man would be on his way to the Museum Mark picked up the pace as a smile grew on his face. Ten or fifteen minutes? That's be perfect! Mark didn't like the idea of making the other wait so he'd make sure to pick up the pace as he ran a hand through his steel blue hair to try and tame it from it's bedhead. Thankfully he didn't grow it out too long so it wasn't too difficult to tame but still he didn't want to look like he just crawled out of bed, even if he kind of did. He made sure to power walk to the Museum as fast as he could from his home which thankfully shaved a minute or two off the normal walk time. Once he finally made it to the building he'd look around and not see Damen yet so he'd sit himself down on a nearby bench and looked at his phone for a moment. He'd then open an app and began to play a game on it to pass the time as he waited on the other man to show up.

When he arrived nearby, he looked around and smiled when he saw Mark sitting on the bench. It would seem he was doing something on his phone and Damen chuckled. "Hello Mark." The demon raised his hand in a wave and walked closer to his friend. "Good to see you again." The man didn't run or anything, he didn't want to startle the other after all. When he arrived close enough, he stopped and smiled. "Ready for more history and culture?" Damen leaned on the bench backrest a bit as he waited patiently for Mark to get ready.
There was no rush after all. They had the entire day to finish their walk through the museum. And perhaps they could add in something else in the day too, if Mark was up for it. It counted two days now with this one included. And they met relatively early at the Coffee shop as well. Damen was surprised that his friend wasn't tired of the presence of an 'old' man yet. But the demon enjoyed their outings a lot so he was glad they got along this well. Damen was happy to meet up as long as Mark was willing.

Mark was in the middle of a game of a battle on his phone when Damen showed up, The younger man looked up and smiled at the other man approaching and nodded his head"Hey Damen...j..just one second"quickly he would begin to try and hurry the fight along which proved to be easy enough since it was already nearing the end of it. Mark ended up losing but it wasn't that big of a deal to him, as long as it was finished he could go on and close the game now. He'd then turn his head and smile a bit at Damen as he tugged down on his jackets sleeves"I'm uh...happy to see you too D..Damen"he spoke with a nod of the head when the other man asked if he was ready for more culture and history. Mark would admit that he enjoyed the Museum quite a bit, it was refreshing to learn something new about different exhibits. Although he also had to acknowledge that he enjoyed it more because he had someone there to share it with. With that he'd stand from the bench and put his hands in his pocket and pulled out the map from yesterday"We uh..we hit a lot of areas yesterday so..um...all that's left are....modern art pieces and...the history of Soleil..."the modern art section was the bigger of the two sections so he'd look over at Damen"Let's...get the uh...the bigger area first...if that's f...fine with you..."Mark figured that they could appreciate the modern art first before closing out on a history lesson of Soleil. It would be interesting for them both at least. Once they set out inside Mark was internally just happy that the other man was so willing to come out to spend time with him. The fact that he was so older had crossed Mark's mind once or twice but he tried to not let it bother him too much. The fact that someone like him was willing to hang out with him, let alone someone as genuinely kind as Damen was something he would not complain about. Besides the fact that the other man was older meant that he more than likely wasn't just doing this to mock and make fun of him as others had done in the past back when still lived with his parents. As they entered the museum Mark would still appreciate all the art pieces on display even if he'd already seen many of them yesterday. On their way to the modern art section he'd pause for just a moment to admire a painting of a young lady for a moment before continuing on their journey"This place..um...it is really nice"Mark would offhandedly comment as they finally entered the modern art section that had statues, paintings, and all different things from more modern day and local artists. It really was kind of neat to see how art has evolved in the twenty first century compared to everything else in the Museum.

"Sure, no problem." It wasn't like they were in a hurry after all. They had plenty of time in the day again to finish their exhibit visits and already saw many the day before. It didn't take long for Mark to finish and then looked at the map of the museum. Damen was perfectly fine with letting him decide what they would do first. Also because they had been around Soleil longer. "That sounds perfect to me. Let's go." the demon replied. "We'll probably be able to finish the museum today. I'm curious to what more we will learn here." They walked through some exhibits they had been before already, but that was alright. The art was interesting enough and they did need to pass by to reach the other exhibits.
Not long after they picked up where they left off the day before and continued to enjoy the numerous art the museum had to offer. It was definitely different from what they had seen yesterday but nonetheless intriguing. "It seems like they made quite a change over the years. The ability of man to change and progress so well is fascinating." he commented. Of course in his case it might have a double meaning, since he wasn't human himself, but he was genuinely impressed.

Mark was pleased that the other man seemed to have no issue with his suggestion which was a bit of a relief as he was a worried there might be something else he wanted to see again. So when they finally entered the Museum it was nice to see the different things on display once more, they were all still just as impressive as the first time they came through here. He'd steal a glance over at Damen as he spoke on the young man offered a small smile and nodded his head in agreement"Y..yeah...I heard that um..that the History of Soleil is...ya know...really popular..."Mark had overheard several people talk about it yesterday during their browsing of the museum which admittingly piqued his interest just a bit, what about this cities history could be so interesting? Well he supposed that they'll find out now won't they? As they passed through the areas and pass each exhibit he would glance over to the animal section when he remembered hiding behind Damen when the keeper announced that it was feeding time. That was a harrowing experience to say the least. When they finally made it to the exhibit showing off all the modern artists and their works Mark would approach a rather odd and abstract looking sculpture and glanced over and nodded his head in agreement, not even close to picking up any other possible meaning"Yeah...how art has changed...it really is n..neat..."he commented before turning his head to stroll up to a painting and stopped in his tracks. Mark would be honest but he had no idea what he was looking at but it was a black canvas but you were barely able to see some kind of figure painted into the black layers in what looked like a bedroom of sorts. The only really standout thing was a pair of what he assumed were dark red eyes on the figure. He didn't know why but it gave him the chills, Mark would glance over at the title and frowned as he would learn the title is "The Night Man". The entire painting gave Mark this unpleasent sensation that he just didn't like, but then he guessed that it was doing it's job as an art piece making people feel things.

Of course he too remembered Mark's reaction and he couldn't help but smile a little remembering it but soon his attention was back on the paintings and sculptures around them in this new exhibit. Modern art really was a long way from the art pieces he had seen around his caretaker's house. Of course they were elven artworks. These were all from humans as far as the demon could tell. Though names only revealed so much. For a moment Damen was looking at an odd looking art piece which he couldn't really tell what it was supposed to be, until he noticed Mark next to him suddenly stopped like that, the demon frowned a bit in confusion and joined the young man near the painting.
The demon looked over at the painting, but for a moment he could swear it was just one black canvas. But soon he noticed the red eyes and blinked a bit. If he was to go by the image he saw here, whoever painted it must have ran into a powerful demon or perhaps their mind came up with it themselves. Damen involuntarily shivered a bit as he realized all to well what it meant and wondered which answer would be worse. He may not have been raised among demons, but he sure knew about them. It was quickly replaced with a slight feeling of dread though as he realized what Mark's reaction might mean.
He couldn't read their mind after all, but if he was to assume anything by the young man's reaction it only made it the more pressing and important to hide his true heritage. And probably try to never be with Mark if they ever had to pass by a complete dark area if his eyes were exposed. "It sure gives a particular vibe doesn't it?" Damen asked Mark in an attempt to distract them. Since he, himself, wasn't to fond of the more powerful demons, he had about the same reaction when seeing them. His mind was just to used to the mild and gentle manners of the forest dwelling elves. Damen took a step back and looked back at the upcoming art, hoping it would be a lot lighter in themes. Though he wouldn't hurry his friend. They were here together and the demon would wait until Mark, too, was ready to move on.

Mark would remain staring at the painting as Damen joined him at his side. The longer he stared at it the more disturbed the young man became from the entire painting. it seemed that there was a nice drawing of a bedroom underneath all the black paint, it was barely noticeable but to stare at it long enough would reveal smaller details. Then the man himself also had a body, granted though the layers of black paint it was hard to see at first but it was smaller details that you notice after a few moments of staring at it. Mark would thankfully tear his eyes away from the painting to glance at Damen and hear his comment before nodding his head"It's unsettling l..like the a...artist saw this one night....just looking at him..."the very idea of seeing something like this watching him from the end of his bed terrified Mark and he knew that if he didn't look away he'd have nightmares about it. But even then he couldn't stop. Thankfully though Damen began to move away from "The Night Man" and move on to the next paintings and art. With a final glance he moved away from the painting to join at Damen's side"I...I know I'm just...just a wimp but...it feels like the eyes are....f..following you..."he knew that it was just his nerves getting to him but Mark was a big scaredy cat who couldn't even handle spooky movies, let alone nightmare fuel like that painting was. Thankfully the next piece they'd stop at was a beautiful full body painting of a young women looking out what looked like an apartment window with a somber expression on her face. This one was very nicely painted with good detail work done to it, from the jewelry the women was wearing to the small nick knacks that was on the table next to her. However the next painting was much worse as Mark swore the museum had it out for him today! This next painting depicted another young woman but this time she seemed to be running from something unseen in the background of the painting. The setting seemed to be a dark house of sorts and it looked as if there was something in the black doorway that he assumed was meant to lead into another room. Mark shivered a little bit and shook his head"W...why at the s..scary paintings...what's wrong with...puppies...kittens...and rainbows...?"he asked out loud. Obviously Mark's unease of scary subject matter would become apparent by now to his friend, showing that he was in fact a true coward.
