Things were picking up as time went on and Seth was almost nonstop in a jolly mood. He woke up jolly, went to bed jolly, slept all jolly. He couldn't eat or walk without thinking about the life slowly brewing inside of Striker's belly - everything seemed so fantastic. Today they had agreed to take a trip down to look at baby things, especially since it wouldn't be long before the pregnancy would likely affect Striker too much for her to be up and running 24/7. Za'saad knew he'd have to pull his weight eventually and hopefully his noodle-sized arms would be enough by then. Having picked Striker up, he walked with her to the clothing store, hoping to just peruse for now, as they had no clue what gender the baby would be.
Upon entering, he glanced around at the endless rows of sorted garments, fabrics in all kinds of crazy patterns and colours, things so different from his own world that it was almost dizzying. Za'saad had been here before, and similar places, to shop for clothing but usually just beelined to the men's section and found what he needed. Today would be different.
"It's strange being here for something other than new socks and underg---wear." He noted, smiling at anyone who looked their way. "Shall we?" gesturing past the women's section towards the kids' section, he stepped along peacefully while glancing at the long isle of skirts they were passing. For a few moments his eyes were on the ceiling as they passed the women's underwear section; he still couldn't fathom why something so private was on full display and everything just looking through the selections so casually. "I know we're here to find you something new as your belly grows, but I think it would be interesting looking at the items available for a wee babe. I haven't really been in those sections before." he said on a gentle little tune.

╰☆ The days passed in blurs as Stryker came more and more attuned to the reality of what was happening to her. She was indeed pregnant and it was Za'saad's. A man she had spent a single night with and somehow defied the odds of what she thought could never happen. Children had been completely pushed from her mind when she had become what she is now due to all the experiments. So wrapping it around the fact that she indeed was going to have a child was unsettling at times. But Za'saad had been thrilled and excited about it, which soothed her mind and heart a little, knowing she wouldn't be in this completely alone.
Getting ready that morning after making plans with Za'saad, Stryker smiled softly at him as he picked her up from her house and they made their way to the store to look for clothes. Upon entering the store, her ears perked and eyes shifted around as she took in the sites and smells of the store. She never really clothe shopped, so it was a strange experience. It was a lot to take in all at once, but she looked up at the man with her and chuckled as he gestured past the clothing. Giving a small nod, she moved forward, her fingers drumming on her slowly extending belly as the baby grew. At his suggestion of looking at the baby clothes as well though, Stryker's face lit up with excitement. "I would love to do that." She looped her arm with his and steered them towards the baby section, her eyes landing on the small little onesies that seemed impossibly small for any sort of living being. "I cannot believe the baby will be this small." Her voice was gentle and laced with disbelief as she picked up one of the suits and held it up, her yellow eyes wide with emotion.╰☆╮

Chuckling softly, he let Stryker hang off his side, even though it made him walk a little crookedly. As they arrived at the baby clothes he was just as amused by her reaction then. "Well, little ones have to fit within a dame's body." Since his arm wasn't free to grab the particular piece of clothing they were looking at, Za'saad instead moved his hand and fingers, activating a spell to gently lift it off the rack with telekinesis, and making it float to the front of her belly. "See, it's not all that much bigger, if we fold it maybe." Still, she was right. From her tiny stomach to this clothing, to one day being as big as the two of them. "It might be hard picking clothing now, as we know not who this child will be and what they may enjoy. But, perhaps we should find a nickname for them as long as they're within your womb?" Looking at all these clothes, za'saad wasn't even sure how to go about such a feat. He wasn't familiar enough woth this world's naming traditions to know how to address a baby before birth.
