Zar true to his word showed up at the gym at the agreed time, dressed in his highly unfashionable exercising clothes (a very washed out looking t-shirt and a pair of capris ) The only reason he hadn't shifted immediately into his natural form was there were a few other students around doing their own thing and he had found himself oddly self conscious about it. He was sure it would pass when he was actually shifted, it was just getting there.

Curling his tail under him, he set his weight on it and crossed his hooves.

Siddie showed up shortly afterward, twisting her hair up into a ponytail as she walked in. She'd chosen a loose, puff-sleeved shirt-dress and leggings to wear for this, clothing and low-heeled boots she could move in easily, and she hoped that she wouldn't be forced to resort to flattening herself, as Zar had looked a bit more interested in that idea than she quite knew what to do with.

When she saw the demon sitting on his tail and waiting, she waved and trotted over to him. "Hi," she chirped. "Ready for a little exercise?"

"Absolutely."

Zar pushed himself up off his tail and gave Siddie a curt nod of the head. "And proper exercise." he said. "No holds barred, no restraint."

And in a swirl of fear, he shifted, gaining size and muscle as he moved into his other shape, tail curling behind him as he gave the ghoul a smile that was all sharp teeth and long equally curling black tongue.

"That wassss the deal no?"

Siddie made a little curtsey as Zar shifted, giving him a sweet smile that showed small, even, white teeth, a startling contrast against the light-eating black of her skin. "Of course," she replied. "This is practice, no? But I expect no mercy and will show none."

She began to circle slowly sideways, watching Zar with intent focus and moving fluidly, almost soundlessly, her weight resting on the balls of her feet. She held her hands ready at her sides, about waist height, her fingers loosely shaped into claws; they elongated and sharpened as he watched, growing smoothly into wickedly sharp, curved talons.

"Ladiessss first." he said, teasingly as he looked over her talons. He appeared relaxed and at ease, but his tail arched behind him dangerously, a tight S shape of coiled enegy.

"How fassst can a shhadow move?"

Siddie answered not with words, but with a swift, sliding motion, flickering in close to rake the tips of her claws across Zar's side, delicately testing his reactions. She backed off again as quickly as she'd moved in, flexing her claws thoughtfully. "You have very fine fur," she said.

As Siddie moved in close, Zar turned his head to eye her, pupils mere slits as he focused on her. She was fast, startlingly fast and he found himself even more curious about what she was theoretically capable of.

"Thank you." Zar hissed smugly. "It sssserves its purpose."

And leaning close to the ground in a crouch, he stalked towards her with intent.

She danced sideways, evading each move, swiping her claws at him when he got too close. Sizing him up, watching the way he moved. She got the distinct feeling that he was playing with her, still; thinking of her, perhaps, as a cannon cat thinks of an oh rats.

She huffed, a little offended, and rippled her claws in a come-here motion.

Zar was indeed sizing the ghoul up carefully, serpentine in his slow and lazy patience which was calm and gave the illusion of deceptive harmlessness. He flinched just slightly at her contact, always staring at her in that snake-like way, flicking his tongue and trying to get a read on her that was more than visual.

When he pounced it was without warning or any hint that it was coming, he simply leapt, throwing forward his huge claws, all horns and teeth and complete disregard for his own wellbeing. He used his body as a weapon and a shield both and seemed to show no fear at all in leaping forward into her waiting claws. His tail threw what coils it could around any part of her he could grasp.

Here I am, his emotions said - not his words - as they roared through the link, and he made it abundantly clear in the predatory intentions and the hunger, the deep and bottomless hunger, that he had no intention of backing off until one of them lost.

The attack itself, when it came, she had expected; what she had not expected, though later she would scold herself for it, was the accompanying psychic assault, the outpouring of predatory intent. Her focus faltered, and the thin, needle-sharp spines of shadow that exploded out of the ground speared harmlessly outward into the air.

Siddie spat a very unladylike word.

Zar took full advantage of the momentary distraction to throw wide his flexible jaw and latch hard onto any part of Sidde he could get hold of, hissing throatily as he did so and lashing out with his prehensile and very strong tongue as he did so to try and seize her, try and pin her down.

The emotional kickback was immense, Zar leaving the link wide so she had no choice but to be immersed in the wild desire to rend and murder, twisted up as it was with more carnal awful desires that thrummed beneath the surface.

The emotional link was a hurricane, and Siddie sunk her own claws into Zar's jaws to hold them open and away from her while she struggled with the whirlwind of overpowering feeling. Her own emotions tasted of dust and chill, a mothwing flutter of panic over a deeper cold-metal core of stubborn determination wrapped in gossamer webs of an answering predatory shiver, an anticipatory stalking sense that nevertheless felt rusty, as though rarely used, perhaps ignored.

Siddie's emotions were enjoyable, the locked struggle always exhilarating for the Incubus. He fought her grip, muscles straining against the hold, but bite strength was not the forte of a dislocatable jaw and he struggled to gain traction on her.

He didn't feel she was letting loose enough, still tangled in the habit of a lifetime, but that raw determination he felt made him certain it was just a matter of time before she learned to twist that intention into battle.

Unable to speak with his jaws locked, he let out a hiss of frustration instead and twisted his coils to try and get a better, more suffocating hold on her.

Frustration bled through, twisted into Siddie's own steadily mounting frustration the way her claws were sunk into Zar's jaw, and the tightening of the coils of his tail squeezed the breath out of her a bit at a time. Beneath the predatory hunger and frustration and the coil of other feelings, snake-sinuous and inescapable, she could sense a kind of sly smugness, a certainty that she could not hunt, and as the coils squeezed ever tighter, something snapped.

She went boneless, liquidly flexible, sliding out and down and away. The only parts of her that stayed entirely solid were her claws, and those she dragged viciously down across Zar's face and throat and forelimbs as she wriggled loose, the razor-sharp edges a startling contrast to the cool and caressing slide of shadow across flesh.

Zar shrieked in surprise and anger as he found himself denied his prey and suddenly rent asunder by Siddie's razor sharp talons. The last she would have felt before the link snapped like elastic as the contact between them broke was his surprise and complete outrage but also buried deep - some subtle satisfaction.

"That'ssss more like it." he hissed, dripping jet black blood onto the floor and seeping it into his fur as he patiently and slowly pursued her.

"That actually hurt." he said, and it was with deep satisfaction dripping from every word.

There was a flick of his tail and he arched his back like a cat stretching and in a few moments he went from normal to completely dripping, head to toe with a very viscous transparent slime which dripped to the floor as he moved closer, seeming to clear up the deep cuts and mend his fear.

"But you have to do more." he said.
