Prof. Moonie Saikii Prof. Moonie Who is this "she" you speak of? confused The me in my head. Ah, I see. And what "awful things" has she been thinking about, if you don't mind sharing? It depends on the situation, but it usually has to do with me being worthless or doing something wrong or not being able to do something.
Z: Psychologists cost money my family doesn't have. They also sell medicine I wouldn't need. That medicine would mess with my head the wrong way. I've seen it happen to others before.

Psychologist. Not psychiatrist. There's a MAJOR difference. Psychologists are not pill-pushers.
You don't have health insurance? If you do, you should be able to find one who takes your insurance and you won't have to pay a cent.

So, don't be too hard on yourself when those moments happen. Just learn from what went wrong and move on.

She kind of screams at me with every fiber of her being and makes it hard to think and keep calm. I feel like if she doesn't do this, someone else will do it do me louder or I'll let myself be blinded and end up scaring people away, so... I tell myself no one can be meaner to me than I could. Kind of a profound, yet stupid and should totally be easy to solve, but isn't problem...

But sometimes we have to face the problem rather than turn a blind eye to it. Look at what she's constantly nagging you about and why she's focusing so much on those things. Even if you can't do anything about her ((not that you should try getting rid of her; that voice can be quite beneficial when making important decisions)), you can at least take baby steps at fixing the issues she focuses so much on.

Zphal Saikii Thanks for explaining. Unfortunately, I have no insurance. I don't have the income to pay for it. So... if you broke your leg, you wouldn't like... go to the hospital or anything cuz you don't have the money? Mental health is arguably just as important as physical health. I would go if I broke a leg because it's a leg. My mind, however confused it may be, has had this problem for years. I put my family through enough of a ringer when I went to school. Sometimes we really have to stretch what we've got and wait to get groceries until later. Financial recovery is not an easy process. I really want to see us succeed. As much as I want the help and probably need it, I'd rather not cause more difficulty for them than I have to. Mom works so hard. She deserves better...
