[PRP] Probation is Suffering

It had been a struggle to get himself to move but finally Titus managed to leave the demon dorms so that he could pick up yet another shift of working around campus. It seemed to be taking a while to build up the needed hours to get back into the school's good graces but what choice did he have? Giving up and telling his father he had been suspended was out of the question.

Decked out in the always lovely orange vest with 'Community Payback' written across the shoulders, Titus begrudgingly walked around the school picking up pieces of trash and shoving them in an overly large trash bag. How did every probation task involve something so completely unsavory?

He was about to pick up a discarded cup and lid but it shuffled away as soon as he got close. "Ugh." The demon groaned snatching at the piece of litter only for it to evade his hand once again. "Could you not..."

The piece of litter quite literally grew eyes, glowered at Titus, and then began scurrying as fast as it could on all seven tiny spindly spider legs.

It reached a little distance away, where a school secretary lay passed out on a bunch, and began to curl itself into the scarf of said passed out school secretary.

Most probably would have let the piece of trash go after it was suddenly staring back at them only to dart off on spider-like legs but Titus was generally not a wise boil. He didn't like the idea of picking up trash but this was on principle now.

"Get back here!" He followed the debris across a short distance until he finally came across the school secretary laid out like a bum in a park. The nightmare demon frowned seeing the piece of litter curling up in the secretary's scarf, his fist balling up in frustration. "You think you can get away so easily?"

The demon didn't even hesitate as he snatched at the scarf trying to pull it away to find the piece of trash. The idea of waking the secretary before starting his search hadn't really occurred to Titus, the demon was focused not willing to be outwitted by a piece of litter.

There was a loud crash as all four feet of the school secretary came tumbling down, quite literally unraveling with the sweater, papers flying all over him, though some immediately tried to escape on various spider and insect legs.

Five seconds of disorientation later, the secretary looked blearily up at Tidus, and then pointed a single accusing finger, without even acknowledging who the boil was. "Detention!"

Titus had not known what he was in for though his concern for the school secretary was meager at best. Instead he was focused on the sudden explosion of paper and the large mass of it that was escaping like cockroaches to light. He stared in dismay at the scene, mostly because it was up to him to clean it up. What was his life?

It wasn't until the school secretary shouted that he managed to gain the demon's attention again, black and white eyes focusing on the finger pointed right at him. "D-detention?! How the hell can I have detention I'm suspended." He gestured to the overly bright safety vest he was wearing like it would explain everything.
