[H2K14 ToT] Prince Everfree 's Tricks and Treats!

This idea wasn't entirely new to the Alicorn, and he embraced the way he was more familiar. Setting a booth inside the tree near the entrance, he went all out.

The booth has a jungle theme, or Forest. On either side was a life size 'timber wolf' and a gaint snake crowned the top with its head coming down the left side with a huge 'smile'. Instead of a bowl as he saw some use, he brought out a large square earthen box filled to the brim with mostly treats and a few tricks. Here it was covered in black beans and decorated on top. With a shovel, it was encouraged for the children to dig for the treats.

To his lefts at Vine covered in leaves like a tree come alive. Or a lion with a leaf mane. He wasn't sure what she was going for either but she clearly was rocking it.

The next booth made Lullaby excited, because it had things that looked like she did! Running over as fast as she could, slipping once and having to pick herself up and and put some candies back in her bucket, she stopped at the foot of one of the timberwolves. She pointed at it then at her own fuzzy brown wolf pup costume and started babbling away as if she were talking to it. But movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned, watching vines and a green thing move about. Remembering what she had been taught, she held up her bucket and babbled something from behind her binki that........could... have been trick or treat, but it wasn't certain. However, distracted once again, she noticed his box thing and reached in with one hand to play with the beans, giggling and laughing at how they felt beneath her fingers.

Apparently he stocked too well! Smiling down at both children he warned them, "Don't eat them all at once and make sure your parents look them over." There was great joy in rewarding the adorable children of the tree, allowing a break from the terror that occurred. At the same time, he would rather avoid angry parents of hyper foals!

Having resumed 'rawring' about and stomping around, being the best darned little yeti she could be, Serena had targeted her newest victim. Though...the jungle looked a bit warm for such a cold-weathered creature, didn't it?

She was getting a bit warm beneath all this white fuzz.

The thought was forgotten though when she noticed another tot digging around in a box full of dark beans and...

"Treasure!" she exclaimed, scrambling forward to join in digging, having forgotten that yeti weren't supposed to talk. Shhhh.

With his pacifier all cleaned and stuck back in his mouth, Savi was happy to follow his sister to the next booth...which was quite possibly the best booth they'd been to. He ran up after her, babbling quietly at the timberwolves that looked just like the costume that Auntie Rar had made for him! Then he remembered what he was supposed to be there for and turned wide green eyes on the dark green fauny, holding his bucket up.

Everfree's lips were sealed on the talking Yeti. With a chuckle he complimented the child, "You look fierce indeed, you are welcome to the treasure you've gotten." He was proud his treat idea seemed to be a success and the children were showing an interest in it. The treats produced were coming out great!

The next child to approach seemed even younger and he was willing to help out and provide a few treats handed out as the babe didn't seem as interested in the treat hunt. "Hello little one!"

Possibly her favorite booth, simply because of the giant timberwolves, Lullaby screeched in delight as she ran over and started playing in the box again. She flung little black beans everywhere in search for treats! If she could she'd dig all day and not leave! But when she had found three of them, she shoved them in her bucket and babbled at the green mister a bit before waddling off.

Grumbling as he lugged the weight of his candy bucket plus one apple, Savi followed his sister. His mood lightened a bit once they reached his favorite booth again. He toddled up next to his sister and dug for treats with her, enjoying himself.

Lullaby couldn't wait to play in the box again, so she ran over, setting her bucket down and dove into the box with both hands this time. She came up with a mound of treats and giggled, putting them one by one into her bucket and 'talking' as if she were giving each piece specific instructions.

More tricks or treats! One way to find out! Bounding up to the jungle-like setting, Serena let out a mighty "Rawr!" and held out her bag.

Savi waddled up next to his sister and dug around in the beans with her.

Watching the children, Everfree wondered if he stocked too well. No harm done, he supposed as he smiled warmly at the returning children, "Back for more?" Two the children he understood their costumes but the white fluff ball he wasn't so sure about and hardly wanted to insult her. "What a ferocious, little one." Praising the little girl on her rawr he joked, "I think you are scaring the treats out!"

With greetings he waited until the last child seemed to be done and went to restocking his box and filling it back in with the beans. The idea was a great one and he was rather proud of himself for it. He enjoyed watching the youngest, the adorable toddlers with their binkies and babbles. The wonder of the tiniest foals was the treat for the stallion
