OMG I LOVE YOU SAMMY.
Yes, people should watch this video! If anything, just to learn just a smidgen about psychological disorders. One of the most common misconceptions IS about Schizophrenia vs. Multiple Personality (or, as now called, Dissociative Identity Disorder), and the person was right, saying that part of the problem stems from the definition of Schizophrenia, which translates to split mind (give or take). But really, one is about reality, and one has to do with multiple personalities. One involves multiple identities that act a specific way, whereas another one involves a general state of psychosis.
Also, bipolar disorder often involves phases that last months at a time. Some people have this conception that bipolar is this every day mood flux, but actually that's somewhat more rare. People often spend months predominantly in a manic phase or a depressed phase, which may be triggered by different stressors. Medication is also the primary treatment for this disorder, whereas other disorders, such as depression, respond more effectively to behavioral interventions.
