Staring at it for a moment he sighed, but he knew he'd be able to make it back soon enough. "I need a katana made of chakra steel as well. Thanks." Turning to Yuna as she spoke he nodded in agreement. "Well lets set up at the inn first, see if they'll let us run a mission in the area to pay the costs of staying there instead of doing so upfront. I'm gonna have to wait two days on that katana as well, so it's gonna take a while. I suppose we should go." With that, Hideo with Yuna in tow headed to the inn.

Do you know what the difference is between regular steel and chakra steel here? What does it do?
Bast strolled into the tool shop and called over one of the workers while unfolding a list of items she was looking for. It was a long list, but there wasn't a large quantity of any item in particular, just a wide selection. After getting affirmation that everything on the list was in stock, she waited while the items were gathered, preparing a scroll with a sealing Jutsu and then checking her money for counterfeits in the meantime. As soon as her order was all together, she sealed it in the scroll and then reverse-summoned it back to her house in the Sand. She double-checked the coinage while they counted it out at the register, and upon finding it to be devoid of the flaws she'd pointed out during her time here those many months ago, made her way out.

The shopkeep gruffed at the thought of delivery, as he received the list of wanted materials. Stroking his chin, he thought about who might be available, and then excused himself to go take care of the order. Half an hour later, a wobbly cart rolled up to the front door, with items fully covered. A large white horse was attached to the front, with a driver seated just rear of it. Jumping out of the back, the shopkeep opened the front door to motion towards Atsuko. "100 ryo for each worker, and the horse driver, for one week." the owner stated flatly, no hint of budging in his voice. Snapping his fingers, several strapping young folk ran around the outside corner of the building. "How many do you need?" Having not been paid yet for getting the list together, the owner eyed Atsuko expectantly. It was enough ryou to pay his rent for two months, restock supplies in the store, and pay for a desperately needed extra part-timer.
Atsuko looked them all over considering a few things before bringing out his large bag of ryo and counting it all out. "I'll take 6 workers. Each will get paid triple that, 300 ryo, to keep quiet about the location once the work is finished as it is a sensitive matter" Atsuko stated before passing over all the ryo to the shop keep in a timely matter. Leaning in a bit closer he also would add "And an additional 1500 for your prompt availability for all of this".

With the bill all settled Atsuko would signal for the caravan to head out. He had one or two things to pick up else where before he'd leave. The shopkeep eyed the bag and nodded at the request for privacy. "It is what it is," he beamed with a smile. Waving at the departing group, the owner quickly set out to deposit the large sum in the village vaults. He might have to add on a delivery ability with the extra sums involved, with the procurement of the part-timer becoming a full-timer.
Artemis figured she'd have to talk to the owner and then hunt down some foxes. However, she saw the evidence of them all over the outside of the forge. She wasn't surprised that they were hurting for business because of the pests, since blood splatter was sporadically placed all over the property, likely from a few rabbits or some other unfortunate prey. Artemis cracked her fingers and stretched her arms overhead. Time to search for a den, then.
The forge's back, where weapons were actually forged, had loads of metals and wood . The firewood was stacked up rather neatly, though it made sense that the crafters needed an organized area to work quickly. She thought it would be a dead end until she saw the scraps that they were going to recycle, donate, or melt down. It was a giant pile of debris and near-garbage, though it would provide reasonable enough shelter for, say, a family of foxes.
She snapped her fingers in front of the ominous entrance of the pile, expecting one of them to at least be curious enough to investigate the noise. However, there was no stirring. "Are foxes nocturnal?" She asked aloud, confused at the lack of action. She frowned, then put her hands together and utilized her raiton nature. She channeled her chakra to the surface of her skin and then 'activated' it.
Her skin was glowing. It lit her up like a shinobi-mas tree. She snapped her fingers closer to the entrance, which was illuminated by her glow to reveal a momma fox and a few cubs. The mother made an odd hissing noise, which irritated her further. She didn't wanna kill them, but she wasn't opposed to it. The three cubs were tucked behind the mother, though they were more curious than afraid.
Artemis made a move to grab one of the cubs by the scruff, but the mom was too quick. She rolled her eyes as she removed her hand from the entrance altogether. She put her hands back together as her light technique faded. She channeled her raiton nature once more in order to transform into actual lightning.
She entered the entrance in her erratic mode. She jumped around the den, staying towards the high roof of it. The mother fox made noises of distress and hurried her cubs out of the den, trotting away from the forge altogether. Fire and noise hadn't scared them, but sudden woman-lightning? Nothing could be more terrifying. Artemis jumped around the inside of the debris pile den for a few more moments before making the right trajectory to land out of it and revert to her regular state of being.
When she looked around, she saw a forge worker meeting her eyes with a shocked expression. Ah, so he'd been watching. She waved at him and smiled as if this was her every day life. Then she turned around to go on to the next task. [ C | Pest Control | Complete! ] [exit]

Getting to the shop she was required to go to was not that difficult an undertaking. Finding a worker who would actually accept responsibility was. Lazy eye'd b***h dragging along a teenager with a stack of a papers sticking out of her blouse was gonna deter the part-timers. Once the burden of the order had been dropped off to Yakuo, she was essentially free. Free too pick up a couple of things Konoha's shitty shops didn't have or would take too long to procure. So off Shiori sped with Sumika in tow, off to call San's bluff.

Though she had to admit, having a pair of bodyguards did not do much to ease her thoughts. After all she never needed one. Pushing open the door she took a deep breath and visibly shivered. The smell of steel, iron, burning metal it all sent tingles down her spine. Making her way into the shop she dipped her head before Kazu and smiled,"Mister Kazu. I trust today has greeted you presently enough?" Reaching in to the sash which bound her Yukata she smiled and extended the lightly perfumed scroll,"I would like to place this order for three weeks from now please. I would also like to speak with you about setting up supply lines and regular deliveries."

When I return, we'll be ready to strike" Taking a step back, he furrowed his brow in frustration. Rinka followed along next to Tsuki and looked at all the odds and ends around the shop. There were several things she'd be needing later on; best to mark this shop down for future notice. As Belamos made his intentions to leave for Otogakure, Rinka would turn to him as he walked away and wave, shouting to him "Goodbye, friend!" Before going back to following Tsuki.
With her business with Kazu completed she turned and gave a polite smile to Bel as he left. Raising a brow at Rinka she smiled,"Surprised you are not going with him. Though I suppose I better finish up shopping. I have to get back to the inn. If you see something you want just let me know." With that she turned on heel and waved over her shoulder,"See you later Kazu-san."
