Saikii I wonder if crushed peppermint candies would be a suitable substitute for sprinkles I'm sure that would work just as good. Although the version the gal made was blue and white with sprinkles, it really leaves it open for you to customize it as you want. --- Zphal Er... well, they came out... alright. A little misshapen. Good for a first attempt is what I'm gonna say. Knowing from my experience of making a Pumpkin Roll, it is pretty hard to get a perfect log on your first try. It takes some attempts before you get the picturesque roll. 3nodding

Swirl cookies are REALLY hard to do. It's really diffficult to get the design right. So I say if they came out looking half way decent you did great. Plus I'm sure they tasted yummy!
