From the land of mist came a man, who met a beautiful woman in the highest reaches of the land of thunder. There they settled down together and had two children, twins Hatsu and Samui. Hatsu grew up alongside her twin brother and her mother and father, but now lives with her extended family as well. Although she doesn't get along with Seiji, she loves all of her family, especially Samui, who she is quite close to and follows around almost everywhere. Hatsu trained hard to be in the Kumogakure military, hoping to be of some use to Samui. However, things do not always go as planned, and so Hatsu found ger family disappearing or otherwise leaving the shinobi force. After having killed someone for the first time, Hatsu went into a sort of shock, unsure how to feel about having taken her first life. Losing most of her voice, she slowly recovered over time.

Some time after recovering, she would find the village to be caught in an unnatural snowstorm. Being a Shinsetsu, the cold didnt really bother her, but there was something else going on. After setting up camp with a few of the other shinobi inside the academy, Hatsu would leave the group and attemp to find and eliminate any reason for the cold. After taking care of a towering monser with a body made of ice and a core of pure darkness, she would soon find the blizzard coming to a close. The blizzard was now gone, but now a different problem had arisen. With most of the village killed by the mysterious snowstorm, Hatsu was devastated, but even moreso, the village's ninja started turning against one another. Not wanting to continue the cycle of hatred, Hatsu, when attacked, would stay her hand. After having been moved to the hospital, Hatsu assembled her new squad and completed a mission, before the stress of her new job tired her out too much and she needed a break.

Now refreshed, Hatsu has grown a bit older and a bit more mature. Her now calm demeanor has an air of experience and kindness behind it. Her much needed time off now coming to a close, Hatsu makes her way to the Raikage's Office to be reinstated as a Shinobi of the Clouds.

Once leaving Konohagakure for an extended hiatus, Klaus set himself up in Takumi, in the land of rivers. There he became a mercenary, taking on whatever odd jobs he could get his hands on, and earned a small reputation after a number of years there. Whether the reputation was good or bad was dependent on who you were though, as his deeds put him in good favor with Takumi's normal citizenry, but those working the same land as him did not seem to care much for his company. Upon hearing from barside gossip that his father had returned to the land of fire, Klaus packed up his minimal effects and headed towards the land of fire. Upon showing his old headband to the guards posted at Konohagakure's gate and confirming his identity with them, he was able to again enter the city he had once called home.
