	LGBT is just a portion of the longer acronym, LGBTQAI (I think they've added more these days). The idea is that anyone and everyone falls into LGBT***** regardless of sexual orientation, gender, etc. "Allies" aka heterosexual people also fall into this category. You kind of have to view the LGBT community in a scope similar to feminism wherein the idea is that it's all inclusive.
