Hello and welcome to a lengthy meta-plot involving Macalania. Feel free to have a read of everything and post if you believe you can help out. I would really like this plot to move along at a reasonable pace so please consider this before offering. I don't expect tags every minute but I'd rather not wait months. Thank you!

Ｐｒｏｌｏｇｕｅ Macalania was a broken foal. She was captured by a group of soquili who were
fascinated by the tree that grew on her back. They experimented on her, doing
twisted and horrid things. Eventually they discovered the healing properties of
the bark and the hallucinogenic effect of her crystals and they began to harvest
them. It was a painful process and when they had taken all they could, they left
her for dead.
But the mare miracally survived, living off the land, eating what she could from
trees and bushes. Her crystals replenished and her tree grew anew and she
thanked the Gods each day that the kalonas did not discover the regenerative
properties.
The mare began to live again but she was not the same. She had wanted to
forget all that had happened to her but a part of her had cracked. It wanted her
to punish those who had hurt her. Begged her to. Macalania tried to ignore the
Other, but it only made her grow stronger. Eventually, hurting her attackers was
not enough. She wanted everyone to suffer as she had. One night, the Other
took over Macalania completely for a brief moment and it scared the foal, more
than her attackers had.
She practised keeping the Other at bay and eventually she was able to make it
so the voice was a whisper inside her head, one that she could ignore. However,
if she's in pain or under extreme stress, her hold weakens and the Other takes
control.
As she got older, she developed a wanderer's nature, wanting to explore the
land to make up for her lost childhood. It was then she met Attachus Loch and
the two fell in love almost instantly. He accepted her for who she was, though he
did not know her past and she did not wish to speak of it.

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ Ｏｎｅ Ｆｉｒｓｔ Ｅｎｃｏｕｎｔｅｒ
Macalania has just made the decision to leave her family behind. While giving
birth, the Other took over and Macalania attacked her mate, Attachus. She
managed to regain control long enough to see the foals safely in their basket - all
the while the Other was screaming in her head, threatening them. This soquili
will be the first person to encounter her after she flees and will find her battling
the Other. I'd like for them to try and help her / find out what's wrong only to
be attacked by the Other.

Ａ Ｃｏｎｓｔａｎｔ Ｂａｔｔｌｅ
She's constantly trying to regain control of the Other but she's weak
and is hurting because she's left her family behind. I would like for her to
continue to have encounters with other soquili while the Other is in control. Each
encounter will make her stronger and slowly chip away at the true Macalania.

Ｉ Ｒｅｍｅｍｂｅｒ Ｙｏｕ
Someone who knew Macalania before hand and knows this isn't who
she really is. They bring the proper Macalania back for a time, though it is taking
all her strength to keep the Other underwraps.

Ｒｅｇａｉｎｉｎｇ Ｓｔｒｅｎｇｔｈ
Macalania is encountering more and more soquili who are helping her
regain her strength. Perhaps they are kind to her or give her a nice meal. Tell
her a nice story - maybe they've even met her family and tell her they are doing
well though they miss her.

With new found strength, Macalana will finally come to terms with the
fact that The Other needs to go - for the safety of herself and the ones she
loves. Here I would like her to encounter soquili who will be able to offer her
some advice. Maybe they've had experience with this, maybe they have a split
personality themselves. Perhaps they heard of some magical cure.

Eventually, Macalania will hear news of a Soquili with healing powers
that will be able to help her. She will seek this Soquili out and beg for their help.

The soquili will have agreed to help her and Macalania will no longer hear the Other.
Or so she thinks...

The Other is aware of Macalania's plans to get rid of her and she is not
happy. She will be doing everything in her power to stop Macalania. Including
hiring soquili to try and stop her. She will come out while Macalania is sleeping
and find Soquili to give her false information or to simply attack her and try and
injure her to stop her.

Ｆａｌｓｅ Ｈｏｐｅ
Eventually, the Other will find a Soquili who is willing to play the part of
the 'cure' - someone who will pretend to get rid of her. The Other will play along,
even going silent when Macalania believes she is cured.

Ｄｅｃｅｉｖｅｄ
When Macalania is at peace and believes she is truly free, the Other
will reveal herself and will break Macalania.

Having been lead to believe that the Other is gone and then finding out
that it was all a cruel trick, Macalania will have finally broken. She will come to
the conclusion that the only way for her to be free of the Other is to end her life.
So she will resign to throw herself off a cliff. However, someone will find her and
talk her out of it.
I would like for it to be someone who has encountered her before. Maybe they
gave her advice or helped her in any other way. Maybe they were hurt by the
Other but don't blame Macalania for it.

Ｄｅｔｅｒｍｉｎａｔｉｏｎ
She will again look for someone to help her. A real someone this time.
I don't have any particular idea as to how the Other is going to be.. destroyed(?)
so if you have any ideas, shoot them at me! Maybe it's hypnotisation or
meditation or an angeni with powers. It could be a potion that supresses the
Other or something of the like. I'm open to all ideas!

The Other is finally, truly gone. At least it seems that way and
Macalania doesn't believe she would play the trick on her twice. A part of her is
confused - she's been with her her whole life and even though she was evil,
Macalania felt sorry for her.

Macalania will seek out those that she hurt while the Other was in
control and will ask for their forgiveness. Whether they accept or not is up to you
and Macalania will not hold it against them if they don't, just as she won't let it
bother as.

Ｆａｍｉｌｙ
Macalania will seek out her family in the hopes that they will accept her
back. She is unsure if they are still searching for her - or waiting for her. For all
she knows, they could be dead or her mate could have moved on. She'll need to
ask soquili for clues to find them.

Ａ Ｎｅｗ Ｂｅｇｉｎｎｉｎｇ
Feeling confident that the Other is no longer around, Macalania will
begin her life anew with her family. She will focus on helping those around her to
make up for the evils she did in the past.

Ｅｐｉｌｏｇｕｅ Ｈｅｌｐｉｎｇ Ｈｏｏｆ
It has been some time since Macalania rid herself of 'the Other' and
now she has started a herd of healers and helpers to help those who suffer from
afflictions such as she. While she may not be able to cure them, she will be able
to offer them her advice and someone to talk to. She may also act as a guard if a
soquili is prone to being taken over when they are sleeping - or may give
sleeping medicine.
The herd will consist of those suffering from afflictions and those who wish to
offer their assistance.

Ｉ Ｃａｎ Ｈｅｌｐ Ｎｏｗ！Plot offering for: First Encounter Soquili offering: NátʼohHow will they participate in this plot? Macalania could be close to one of Nat's favorite shady chill spots. Noticing her strange behavior from a distance, he'd probably go investigate out of sheer boredom. Plus, it's a mare. Plus, she has some crazy stuff growing out of her back, which is pretty much worth a closer look in itself (he lives in a very "normal" area and is used to seeing "normal" things, hence his boredom). Once Macalania's inner-fight gets more serious and starts turning outward, he'll get the picture pretty quickly that this isn't a normal "calm the mare down and chew some leaves" situation, or a "calm the mare down out of her bad trip on herbs" situation. It'd be one of the few times that Nat turns completely serious (which is rly good for him, since he needs to mature). But unfortunately for Macalania, Nat is a currently a huge coward and would turn tail real quick once she got physical (I'm okay with her injuring him), leaving her alone. idk if he'd immediately regret leaving her, but I know it'd keep coming up in his mind long after the encounter is over... If you decide you want him for this particular part, we can always hash things out in more detail over PM or AIM if you want to. Will they participate in any related future plots? Only if you'd like! Maybe "I Surrender"? Could be cute, and redemption for Nat--give him a chance to do now what he couldn't back at the start. He'd have matured a lot by then, I think, and he'd really genuinely try to help her, and succeed this time. Once again, more details can be discussed if you decide to choose him. Best way to contact you? Any way your heart desires... PM is quickest for time zone differences, though.
