Chini had been doing a lot of thinking, something that she hadn't spent a lot of time doing. Usually she'd just see a shiny and figure out a way to get it- that was about as far as any planning went with her. Sure, she thought she was pretty good at at least that, but this was different. This was going into some uncharted territory that would take a lot of time and planning.

So, Chini had begun to plan. She had had a hard time listening to the words that told her her feesh were 'heathens' and from what she had gathered was something bad. She was glad no one had found out because if they had... the thought sent chills down her spine and she shook her head at herself. No, that couldn't happen. They needed to get rid of the evidence before they got in trouble. Oh, and before something happened to the feesh babins.

She started staying out later and coming home with more stuff, more specifically food. If they were going to make this journey they'd need to take some with them, and leave extra here for the days of stealing they would lose. It was a good plan and Chini was proud of herself for it, but there were still missing parts she wasn't sure about. Like, how in the world were they going to get down to the island below where the heathens live? She knew others could fly, but she herself wasn't the best.

It was like a glorious answer when she found out about some kinda device they could use to get down there. She didn't understand the specifics but apparently a lot of Pae in town used it. So, that's what they were going to do. Of course, they'd have to wait till all those Pae weren't using it. They couldn't just walk around town with their heathens could they?

She had told her surrogate sister about what she had heard, and together they began their plans. "Pasha?" she called into their small little shed, as she walked in with another day's worth of stuff. She walked over to a pile that they hadn't gone through and organized yet, and dumped more stuff into it. The food she picked out and shoved into a satchel laying across her body, "Sun byebye." She felt an excited buzz begin in her head. Was this really happening to them? She began to shove more and more things into her satchel before scooting on over to the feesh bowls. They had only even known this shed, as small as it was for them now, and this city. They new everything about this city- all the best food and shiny booths, secret hidy-holes, everything! They basically owned it and here they were about to enter the unknown.

"Is all your fault." she said into the bowl, two little babin feesh staring up at her. They ended up slowly having to separate everyone since they were getting too big for their bowls! They had to to this as soon as possible or else they wouldn't even be able to even carry the darn things! She frowned deeply at them knowing they'd be suspicious carrying such a large pot with them. They'd have to separate the two and keep them each in their own pots so that she and Pasha could handle it while they snuck through the city. She sighed heavily, grabbing Kai and pulling him out. Immediately he began to wriggle, obviously not enjoying the fact he was out of water, and dropped him into a vacant pot. Alright, she was good to go.

She looked over her shoulder, "Pasha ready?"

Pasha had known this orb breaking frilly fish beeb was bad news! From the moment it broke her precious pearl with its silly existence, Pasha had thought to have nothing to do with it!

Sort of...

Ok well she had thoughts that maybe it could be useful somehow. She had even taken the time out of her day to painstakingly come up with a name for the little booger. Asra. She was becoming.... tolerable to say the least. Pasha had her trained -somewhat- to do what she wanted and the little thing certainly seemed to have an eye for shinies. The pink demon was just getting the thought comfortable in her head that the pair could use this little feesh beeb as a third wheel of sorts. Let her be the cute distraction while the two of them took everything in sight. It was flawless! At least in Pasha's mind.

But then Chini dun dunked her plush into the water and now it was a fish beeb too. One too many fish beebs and it was starting to cause a problem! Now, not only did they not have enough room for the two real feesh they had, Chini had learned these beebs were called something like.....

"Heafenz,"

Whatever that meant. But clearly it was bad bad bad! And NOW on top of that, she had a weird new tail that had a mind of its own and was still trying to figure out exactly how it worked....

When Chini had called her, she turned from scooping up Asra out of the pot and into a smaller-ish one. "Yis. Ready!"" she nodded, glancing behind her towards her tail as it seemed to have latched on to her fish plush. "Tail weird....but grabby!" she exclaimed, thinking this could be useful too...when she figured out how it worked.

But right now they had to get rid of the heafenz. Which meant they had to be quick, but stealthy. If anyone caught them with these heafenz, it wasn't going to turn out pretty. They would probably get into whole lots of trouble and she wasn't in the mood to be scolded like a little child. She was done being little. She was grown now and could do whatever she dang well pleased! Not that she couldn't before but pff. Teen hormones and rebellion and all that. "Lets go. Moon almost hi-ho! Be ssh." she nodded towards her tan speckled friend and scooped up the pot Asra was in.

The little sprite gave a giggle and Pasha quickly hissed inside the pot for her to hush before holding it close to her chest and moving to peer outside the door to their shed. "Empty." she called back to her sister, using her butt to push open the door and hold it so Chini could exit first.

Chini nodded happily at Pasha. Good, they were right on time! She grabbed up another bag for Pasha and walked behind her. She examined the new tail for a moment, smirking to herself. It had been the oddest thing to see when Pasha got home, but the way it held onto things like this Plush. Chini was almost jealous! It could be so useful with nabbing shinies!

But now wasn't the time for shinies. She wrestled with it till she managed to peel the plushie away from it, before shoving the plusie into the bag she had for Pasha and her supplies. She then let the tail latch onto the bag instead. There, another useful thing and another bout of jealousy from Chini. What a cool tail! Maybe she needed to go fall into a puddle bottom first.

She pushed the thought out of her mind as she walked back over to Kai. It had seemed like the logical name for him, and easier to use than 'feesh' when they had so many as it was. Plus, Pasha named hers! Chini had to do the same! Speaking of Kai, she peered into the bowl the pot now in her arms to catch him sleeping. Perfect, this should be easy, right? Other than carrying a pot of water and a baby feesh was heavy! This place better not be that far!

Chini headed for the door after Pasha, “Quiet, heafenz.” Chini hissed into the pot with Asra as the little one giggled. Now she was going to be a problem! Why didn't she just sleep as well? She glared down into it and was surprised to find a slight ting of sad hit her heart. Was she really gonna miss the thing? I mean, they had been fun to play with but they were such a bother! Made Chini and Pasha work extra hard for food! Yes, she'd just push away the sad and say it's cause they were losing such pretty live shinies!

She nodded a thanks to Pasha and slipped out into the darkness. Thankfully they chose a night that they wouldn't be dealing with a full moon, but Chini was extra excited for the cloud cover. Now and again the moon would go dark leaving them to have to remember the paths they took daily and trust their judgment instead of what they couldn't see. It didn't scare Chini, she welcomed the cover of darkness and preferred it. This meant they wouldn't be caught with their heafenz!

They weaved in and out of back roads, dodging the few Pae who chose this time of night to go about the city. A few times Chini had to halt in her steps and if the clouds hadn't covered the moon she would have been sure they would have been seen. It was almost like the moon was on their side! She glanced up at it and sent it a thank you. Yes, she'd be forever in debt to the moon.

Finally they made it. Chini had hear about this place and had taken a good amount of time trying to find it and scope out the best paths to it. “Thing is over there.” she whispered to Pasha as they stood in the shadows of an alley. “Ees magic, Chini dun even know what it called.” she said with wonder in her eyes. “Take us to island and rid of heafenz.” she quickly held up her pot, almost spilling some water. Whoa! Ok so she was getting a bit excited and nervous. She didn't know if she liked the thought of magic taking them somewhere. Any kinda magic they had dealt with gave them problems or extra limbs. Still, she felt called to do this. If not for their own survival then to keep them from getting in trouble!

She took a deep breath looking at her friend with determination, “Pasha ready?”

The trek to this magical pad thing was adventurous to say the least. If Chini wasn't almost being caught then Asra was making more noise than usual. Then if not that, Pasha's new found fangled tail was either dropping her bag, getting hung up on something or both. "Durn it tail no!" she hissed at it every so often as they went.

When they had reached the magical pad thing, Pasha was more then relieved. "Finally!" she hissed, staring down into her pot as the beeb had finally decided to fall asleep it seemed. "Careful, no spill watah!" she whispered to Chini as she crept closer, eyeing the pad from all angles. She was going to test this thing, no matter how many times they had or would be using it. She didn't trust it and probably never would. Of course she wasn't your average typical demon anyways, what with having raised herself and all...

"Pasha ready yes." she nodded, but paused. Was it safe? Other's used it yeah but that didn't mean she fully trusted it. As if in test, the pink odd demon growled softly at it, then when it made no move or any kind of noise back she shrugged and stepped onto it.

She blinked once, twice and then suddenly different surrounding!

Panicked, she twisted her torso around violently, pot splashing water out and jostling the little one inside. She heard trees, wind, birds more clearly, growlies and moanies, hissies and spitties, lots and lots of bad watah too. But thankfully that sounded far away. Grunting and stomping her foot, she glared in the direction she thought she heard distant waves and hissed at it too. That would teach it to stay put in its place! "Ahk!! NO still...bad...shh." she chided herself, remembering this was supposed to happen. She was on the ground now, not in the floating city.

Stepping out of the way a bit, she glanced up at the top wondering if she could have spotted her golden tan sister. "Chini!" she yelled in a whisper as if the angel could hear her from down here. "Chini lets go hurry fast!" she squeaked, eyeing her surroundings, tail curling in on the bag and itself from nervousness. Pasha liked the dark, she liked the ark time up in the city but down here..... down here was new territory. New smells, new sights and a whole lotta new sounds...

Chini watched as Pasha tested the magical pad thing before inching towards it. Chini nodded as if approving Pasha's tests. Yes, it hadn't moved so it must be ok! Or it might just not be scared of them! Chini was about to open her mouth to warn Pasha when- she vanished!

Chini gave off a loud screetch and rushed to the spot, "Pasha!!!" she wailed. "Pasha NOOO! COME BACK! NO LEAVE CHINI-"

She slammed her mouth shut when she noticed Pasha in front of her. Oh, well that had worked! Oh good her sister was ok- Wait. Why was it so green all of a sudden!? Chini hunched her shoulders, eyes running mad in her head as she took in the surroundings. Ok, well, this magic had worked she supposed. This didn't look like the city, but it certainly didn't feel safe. She began panting in fright and trembling till water spilt out and almost onto her feet. She yelped and held the pot out further from her. Ok, they needed to do something about these babies before they lost all their water!

"Pasha ok?" Chini asked as she calmed herself down with deep breaths. Well, they were alive it seemed and that was good. Her ears twitched as new sounds assaulted them. It was pretty disorienting till a certain sound filled them- WATAH! Ebil ebil watah, but it was exactly what they needed! With that sound in mind she managed to push away all others and just listen, "Less go!" she hiss/whispered, remembering they were still on their mission.

Chini noticed a hard packed dirt path that she supposed would be a road leading somewhere right? She could see it splitting two ways up ahead, one towards an open field and the other wrapped around some trees. She decided that even with the cover of dark she wasn't brave enough to leave herself exposed like that so she headed towards the tree. Either way, she was sure this was the way she was hearing watah! So, they'd stick close enough to the road to see it, just in case they needed to get back, but closer to the trees so they wouldn't be easily seen.

They weren't walking very long when the trees gave way and she saw water up ahead. She jumped surprised by the sight. THERE WAS SO MUCH! She hissed and looked over her shoulder at Pasha, "Dat ees." she mentioned. She hadn't expected it to be so easy. They'd just have to walk a ways and dump their packages before sneaking back into the city. Oh man did she hope that pad would get them back...

"No be too close to trees. Tail might grab. I dun with tail." she whined. She generally ended up having to have to fight the thing in order to release its grip. With how much space they had out here they should be able to make better time...

When Chini appeared Pasha nodded approvingly, as if her sisters appearance was most pleasing. "Finally." she whispered, tucking her pot close as she waved off the tan angel's concern's. "Be lot ok when dun with beebs." she said as she too eyed the path. Sticking close to Chini, Pasha followed birskly, wanting to be done with this, no more beebs, no more feesh, no more heafens. Back to good quality takseys and quiet happy shed.

She hissed as Chini warned her to stay away from trees and that she was done with the tail. She?! SHE!? "Is on my butt! I dun wif tail not you!" the pink demon retorted, casting a glance over her head as the tail seemed to stay curled up against her back...for now. "Is sleep so is kay, just shhshy." she waved a hand at her sister before clutching her pot again.

Up ahead the sound of water kept getting louder and louder. Hesitating a moment, she shrank back, glancing around as if to make sure the coast was clear. "Hmm.... keep looks....might splish on us!" she whispered, nodding her head as if what she spoke were true. It was right there, just right there. They could dump the pots, be rid of the fish beebs and be done in no time!

Darting forward a bit, careful not to spill any water on her, Pasha crept towards the edge, trying to get simultaneously as close and as far from the water as possible. She needed to be able to dump the little heafen into it but not get wet herself. "How do Chini? Leave pot or dump beebs?" she turned around to consult her tan friend before glancing down into the pot.

Durn beeb....she still looked like Pasha's pretty pretty pearl just....no longer pearl from. Durn it if only this beeb could turn back INTO the pearl! Part of Pasha's heart ached but it was a feeling the pink teen didn't fully understand. It didn't feel the same as not getting a shiny. She didn't like it. The sooner she was rid of it the better!

Chini sighed and rolled her eyes at her sister. She felt like she had to deal with it just as much some times! That thing got Pasha hung up on things more times than it was helpful! Then it was Chini to the rescue! She decided not to reply, instead wanting to keep quiet from the dangers around them. No use arguing about who was more tired of the tail right now. She felt relieved hearing the darn thing was asleep. She supposed it made sense since they were kinda out way past their bed time. She was kinda jealous of it at that point.

Chini felt as nervous as Pasha as they neared the water they had been tracking. She hadn't completely thought this out. Sure, the feesh babins needed water- their most hated enemy. So why hadn't Chini realized they would need to be near water in order to accomplish this? Her heart seized at the thought. What if she fell in and got a tail as well!? Who would get them both outta trouble when they grabbed onto things!? Oh, no this was bad!

Chini watched Pasha's weird dance near the water. A part of her marveled at its beauty. Never before had she seen such a large body of water up close! The moon almost looked like it was dancing inside of it! For a moment she was jealous that the babins would be getting such a big place to live! Then again, would it do weird things to them as they grew up? She peeked into her pot where Kai was still sleeping. He didn't even know what was going on the dumdum!

She looked between where she was and the water before back into the pot at Kai, "Pasha, play throw! Ya know like when we run from mad man? So he no get shinies? Just play wit watah." she motioned towards the water. "This 'bout close 'nough ya?" She reached into the pot and pulled Kai out. The sleepy feesh babin's head kinda lolled to the side before he blinked his big eyes open. At seeing Chini it giggled and pumped its tail fin- slowly and tired but still with some enthusiasm at seeing her. Chini wrinkled her nose at him. Dumdum was trying to be cute so he didn't hafta leave! Sneaky dumdum...

Play throw with the watah? Now that was a thought! Pasha eyed Chini as she pulled her fish out of the pot and held it, watching it giggle and wiggle like it was just sooooooo cute! Hissing, Pasha set her pot down too, scooping out Asra as slowly as possible. Her's was more likely to explode and make noises.

Glancing down at the little thing half sleeping, half wiggling in her arms Pasha scrunched up her face in a frown. It was doing the same thing as Chini's! Trying to be cute so it wouldn't get tossed away. Bah, that's probably how these heafens got you. Act all cute and innocent then strike when you least expected it!

Hissing, Pasha held Asra at arms length and began to make some sort of overdone rocking motion as she tested her strength. Kid wasn't exactly feather weight but at least she was light enough to throw. Aiming for the water, Pasha inched closer as she made the swinging motion a few times, each time mentally telling herself to let go and yet not. Something kept holding her back. "This silly!" she growled to herself, taking a deep breath and giving one more large heave.

A somewhat low to the ground and slow heave anyways. She didn't want the kid hurt....just gone. Watching as her fingers finally released the baby and as it splashed into the water below, Pasha felt a mix of excitement and terrible feelings. Blinking as she watched Asra wake up and flail her little tail around in the water it suddenly felt like all the air in her chest was gone. Stolen. The kids had played taksies!

"Hurry! Do it, run!" she hissed, already turning tail to sprint back before the kids came after them. Or she had a change of mind....

Chini glanced over at Pasha as she watched her 'sister' pull out her own fish. She was glad the other got what she meant and was going along with it. Chini couldn't help feeling some pride in her idea. It would keep them safe wouldn't? Pasha certainly had had enough with this evil water curse as it was... Chini didn't need to have a part in that either.

Kai continued to wriggle in her hands, but she held his fast as she waited to see what Pasha would do. She nodded in appreciation of the stance she was taking and the prep swings. She'd certainly knew what she was doing it look like! Finally the small babin feesh flew from her hands and plopped right into the water with a not so loud splash, but loud enough to a freaked out and sensative Chini that she lept slightly. Didn't help that Pasha was now yelling at her to hurry. Had someone heard that!?

In her fright Chini didn't take a stance of even practice the toss, she just did it. He launched Kai out of her hands and watched as he sailed through the air... and right into the ground. The babbin feesh burst into tears and began to flop madly on the land. Chini gave off a loud cry of frustration before slamming her hands over her mouth. Had she hurt him!? She watched him flop for a moment feeling relived. He looked more freaked out than anything and his flopping was moving him towards the water! Awesome! "Go feesh go!" she called out to him, waving her arms at him as if some invisible force would help push him the last few inches.

Finally he took plopped into the water and his cries ceased. Chini watched for a moment and was surprised when his head popped up and he squealed loudly in glee. A part of her ached at that. No more cute feesh to do tricks with... but also no more babin feesh to eat all their food! They were free! With a hop and a skip Chini was turning back around, yelling at her sister over her shoulder, "Less gooooo!" They were done, time to head back before they got caught! At least at this point they didn't have any heafenz to get in trouble with!

Pasha had stopped just long enough to watch Chini fling her fish into the air....and miss horribly. Facepalming so hard that her tail curled up and whacked her in the back of the head, Pasha hissed louder at her angel sister. "Come oooooonnn. Feesh fine, not ded gogo!" she groaned, waiting till Chini caught up to her and latched onto the angel's arm to tug her along.

She didn't stop till the pair of them had made it back to the telepad. Pasha skidded to a halt in some sort of half crouched half standing pose, arms spread out, tail up straight in the air. She hissed at the pad again, glancing towards Chini then up towards the sky. "Got time till Big Bright, but still sssssss." she said and pointed towards the pad.

All they had to do was step on it and the rest would be easy. They had sneaked back home a million times after dark. Pasha could almost do it with her eyes closed (or she could until this stupid tail came along and ruined everything).

Yet something made her stop. She looked over Chini's head in the direction they had came, not so much worried about the sounds of big water. Instead she was trying to listen for sounds of crying feesh heafens but couldn't hear any. "They be finefine." she grunted, folding her arms though she was talking mostly to herself. "We teached well. Good theifs, just in watah theifs." she concluded, trying to make herself feel better. Still she couldn't bring herself to look away just yet.

It wasn't until her tail popped her in the back of the head again that she growled and stomped her foot. "No mo! Going sleeps!" she grunted, grabbing Chini's arm again and pulled her onto the telepad.

Their mission was done.

Chini grunted as her sister grabbed her arm and tugged her along. She finally gained her footing and kept up without the added help. Her mind was in a daze as the land passed beneath them. She blamed the sleepies trying to tug her under, but also wondered in the back of her mind if leaving the feesh behind was doing something to her brain.

She rubbed her eyes as they skidded to a hault before the telepad. She opened her eyes again to catch her sister looking at her, no wait, past her. She slowly looked over her own shoulder, but couldn't see anything but inky darkness and the slight light bouncing off of the water from the moon. No more squeals or crying from the feesh babins. That was a good thing right? Unless someone ate-

She shook her head furiously as her sister began to drag her onto the telepad. She was right. No more think-think it was just making her tired and funny feeling inside. "Yeah, gud watah theifs. All the watah shinies for them." she agreed as she stepped onto the pad she glanced once more towards the water. Kai's face came to mind and she let a slight smile turn up her face. You know, all in all he hadn't been a bad feesh babin. Her sister was right, they had done a pretty good job for those feesh. Now they'd claim all the shinies in the big watah.

"Wonder if they'll share." Chini muttered to herself. Nah, no way in heck was she coming back this way just for some shinies. This was their territory now and she had enough places to get her own back home. Instead, it was time to focus on making it back to their place and getting some sleepies in time for their next nom-nom! No more thinking about feesh. Unless needing giggles about bouncing feesh boy. That memory would come in handy.
