He glanced down at one of his arms at her question, watching the rot move for a moment as it settled into the faux tattoo once again. Whether or not it was meant to distract him, it did, and the elbow to the gut was a surprise that made him double over, air needless air leaving his lungs in a gasp. As ghost, he didn't need to breath, he recovered quickly from such blows, but that'd been well played on her part.
"Rot," he answered, rubbing at his stomach. Head giving a shake as he looked down at her and smiled. "Fear, natural ability." Shoulder s rose in a lazy shrug. "It's a mark of a jikininki." Along with the skin, the eyes, the teeth.
Teeth that flashed in the light as he grinned another, coming in for another attack. This time he'd demonstrate, fingers elongating into wickedly pointed claws to take a swipe at one of her arms.
