Welcome to card battle 101, I'm your host Lief Pyrex and this is my oldest friend in the Digital World Scout the Gabumon!

It's nice to meet you, I hope we have a lot of fun, it's been a long time since Lief and I have battle together!

It sure has bud and today we have the honor of teaching Aaron how it's done! emotion_awesome

Alright now that we've got that covered let's do this thing! emotion_brofist I'll show you the set up first so you get the idea.

"Well Done! the easy part is done, now for the fun!" Lief pulls out an old dust rule book and opens it to page 1"Now let's see...what does it say about going first...ah yes here it is!"

Lesson 2: Determining Turns

Much to many's dislikes, this is very much a turn based, luck affected system but can be made fun with however much effort you place in it.

We start by each rolling 10 10sided dice. The one with the highest roll goes first, unless one person has this card: Lucky Star. If this card is present, then it goes it reverse.

"Ok so it looks like you won so you get the honor of going first!"

"Basically what we do from here on out is we take turns attack and such until there is only one of us left standing and that Mon will be the winner!"
"So let's take a look at the rules for this part of the battle."

Lesson 3: The options for battle

When battling you have three options. Assuming that you read the walk through I'll briefly explain your options:
-Normal attack (0 MP cost; deals damage = to dice roll)
-Defend (restores MP = to dice roll)
-Special attack (30 MP cost; deals damage = to dice roll)
-HP Floppy (30Mp cost; restores health= to dice roll)

Other than that you can choose to play one of the cards in your deck, just read the card to see how it's played. That's the part that takes the longest to figure out and learn.

Lesson 4: Cards

Since I'm using one let's take a minute to talk about the cards.

You will want to read the card completely before playing to check it's effect.
You will alos notice a red number in the corner, this is the MP cost. So as you can see it's gonna cost me 7 MP to use this card and add it to my attack, so check it out!

Alright Gabumon now attack!!
