	She showed up, completely unannounced, at the dormitory of one particular ghoul. Theoretically, there should have been no reason for Alette to even know which room Maddie was, but that was utterly beside the point (and Alette had done a bit of snooping, and maybe a bit of creeping around the dormitory buildings until she'd figured it out) - and now that she was already here, there seemed little point in leaving. She knocked cheerfully on Maddie's door and stood there, bouncing up and down on her heels. "MADDIE MADDIE ARE YOU IN???" [A.V.]

	Alette might have heard a crash, thump, and something that probably sounded like cursing, or just a very grumpy sound, and several minutes later, the door opened. Rather than the usual somewhat menacing and creepy-looking smile that graced the tiny bear ghoul, Alette would have been greeted with a sleepy-looking ghoul with disheveled hair, hood pulled back. "Oh, Lettuce. It's just you..." She rubbed her sand slumped forward, planting her face into the ghost ghoul. Bear ghoul was beary tired. kuuropii o v o

	At the crashes, Alette thought something truly horrible had occurred behind the door and gave a little squawk of surprise as it flung open, Maddie's disheveled appearance making her squeal. "Maddie!" Alette yelped, patting the other ghoul's hair. "What's wrong? Are you sick? Are you dying????" [A.V.]

	The only truly horrible thing was that Maddie's room was pretty much a tripping hazard. Plushies were left lying about here and there, and it was very likely Maddie had tripped over one of them when she was abruptly woken from her nap. It was also possible that the particular plushie she tripped over was not quite just a plushie, and ended up biting her back in retaliation for being stepped on. At Alette's outburst though, Maddie looked up, blinked slowly, and reached up with both hands until they touched Alette's face. *"There is no sickness. No death. Only fear."* She stared intently at the ghost ghoul. *"We are fear."* kuuropi
