Fisher lead the way with life and vigor, twisting around to see Chester over his shoulder. "Thanks for the save back there~" The mushi began, speaking after several minutes of nothing but the sound of Chester's foot falls between them. The florist was thinking of the last time he was here and the things he'd never gotten to finish. Sailing lessons. He knew how to sail back a long time ago, he wondered if he was right to assume boats were a lot different now. He wouldn't know, he'd never gotten around to those lessons. It had only been to make Luka comfortable with the water, but there was no Luka anymore. There was Chester, though! It was much better than walking down this stretch of sand by himself. Friends...friends made all the bad things better. "After this, you can join me back there for lunch if you want. Sage won't mind the extra company. He hired a caterer, so I'm betting there's more food then us three can eat alone." Fisher finished with a light laugh, reaching forward and pushing open the door. The store was peppered over with equipment hanging from the walls and various stand alone shelving stands, all manner of colors adorning then. He plucked a few souvenir key chains on his way to the front counter, looking up to the price board with those emerald gems for eyes. Twenty-five dollars for...one lesson? Three? Five? The whole shebang? It would be the first thing he'd question, looking over at Chester as if to finalize their plans. "These are a first for you?"

Both of them were almost there at the entrance to the store laden with equipment for the lessons later on when he chuckled. "It's no biggie, really." Chester's eyes bulged a little, mainly due to surprise, when Fisher mentioned about the mushi's family member actually hiring a caterer for their meal later on. Normally, catering services would be reserved for special occasions, like birthdays, beach weddings and the like, but for this typical day at the beach? That was something a bit extraordinary. He wouldn't mind the extra servings, but still, it was one thing that he wouldn't see every day. "I have to say that he does have the cash for it, and it is amazing. I can only afford a small buffet-style type of such service." The DJ wasn't sure what job the silver-haired man had, but whatever it was, it was a bountiful one.
Once they both headed inside, the colorful surfboards greeted them both, but there were also scuba diving suits, together with the oxygen gear, as well as a plethora of equipment for both boats and kayaks. One may say that it was paradise for those whose adrenaline was pumping towards taking a wild ride on the beach aside from the usual activities. His hand caressed one of the surfboards as he replied to Fisher's question, "Yep, definitely a first. I have an uncle back then who lives in California, and he does surf during the occasional family vacation. I didn't get a chance to try it out because I was busy with college before moving here to Soleil." Life back then was hectic; even with the card games and music for the breaks between exams and whatnot, it was still nothing short of the chaos taking most of his time.
He was about to speak more when the caretaker of the shop came by to check on them, asking if they needed any help. The petite man grinned at the worker, simply insinuating about the details for the surfing lessons.

Fisher saw the look on Chester's face over the subject of the caterer hired to their beck and call by his twin, his hands tucking under his cheeks and pushing them upwards until he could feel his lashes brush his skin. "He's indulgent." He grumbled, pushing his glasses up then bridge of his nose when they slipped downward. "Having the cash doesn't always mean you should spend it. Heaven forbid he break a nail while packing a sandwich." The red head snickered quietly, yawning as he stretched. Lordy, he really wished he had gotten to sleep in a little today. Sage just had to have his way over anyone else, and what could he do to resist it? Anyway, Chester seemed interested in eating with him and his family later, which he was happy for. Someone was his company, so he wouldn't feel surrounded by other people the albino mushi manipulated.
"Ah, so you had personal inspiration. I barely ever left the house growing up. Really. Only until about a few months ago when I came to live here." Surfing hadn't been very interesting to him before, but he was an open minded fellow. It looked cool in movies and from the sidelines, if one could ignore how scary it looked to wipe out. Also, was it especially common for surfers to be attacked by sharks? He could ask the instructor while they were being...instructed. If it were that dangerous then it was only natural that the answer was no- nevertheless, they'd probably be told safety procedures for whatever scenarios they were likely to encounter out there in the cold, endless waters! "We'd like surfing lessons! Do we have to rent the boards separately, or...? Will we even need real boards, or do we start with boogey boards? That's what they're called, right?" The mushi bobbed up and down in the air, laughing delightedly. He was excited!

The man in charge of the shop was glad about the enthusiastic mood that the two males had shared. But still, Chester remembered about how Fisher was not used to being outdoors most of the time. He made a mental note to himself to guide him in exploring the world whenever they had the chance. That one aside, the shop manager actually told them that the surfing lessons cost $25 per person, especially for just one whole day. The DJ offered to pay for both of them as a way to start things off. The manager provided them some beginner tips first, from the philosophy of surfing to having to learn the basics. More importantly, both Chester and Fisher were guided into using foam boards for a start, since they were specially made for neophytes like them. However, before the two should hit the waves, it would be best to practice the postures and hand movements first for better stability and to lessen the chances of injuries.
The manager allowed them to rent the foam boards before the trio headed outside to dry land for the first lessons. The demonstration was slow and steady, reminding them both of the positions of the hands and body for each movement. Chester's emulation was a bit wonky but he was slowly getting the hang of it. The sand was a bit coarse against his bare feet, though slightly damp with the gentle waves that would serve as the platform for the next application later on. A smile crossed his face; he was certain that Fisher would also enjoy the experience.

The coolness of the water made the warm day disappear. Traveling any deeper than the surface felt like a completely different world, almost an entirely different season. Honey locks floated around like something from Heaven. An ethereal being with no control over their hair. Golden orbs no longer sparkled but almost seemed to hold a glow to them as they took in their surroundings. Clear water held nothing back. The reef was beautiful! The colorful coral made you think you were in the tropics where they thrived. While it may not have been as warm as it was in the southern hemisphere, it was a pleasant feeling slipping over your skin. The oranges. The reds. Even a few purples! The range of colors were shocking and breathtaking. Wearing goggles made everything so much more clear. If you were to look with bare eyes they'd sting from the salt. Having to practically swim blind, you'd never get to see the range of fish that swam so close to the surface and yet just out of reach. Looking over to the other human body in the water, Finn pointed to the school of tiny blue angelfish. Within the school you could see a sea of blue different from the ocean water around them, along with bands of both black and orange. Probably to distinguish between sexes, though Finn didn't know which was male and female. A smile grew around his mouth piece at how cool it was to see such a sight!
Finn was almost brought out of his skin when he saw a shark casually swim past his face! Pulling his body back quickly, eyes widening behind his mask, he looked as if he were a deer caught in headlights. The stigma around sharks caused his adrenaline to pump fast. While he had never had an encounter with sharks personally, even while surfing, he had heard of several stories where surfers were caught in their jaws. Of course, he knew nothing about sharks and thus straight up feared them. Even though it was nothing more than a rather harmless nurse shark, he had no way of knowing that. Quickly swimming over to Allix, he gripped onto her arm and gave it a light tug to try and move away from the predator. Hopefully they wouldn't run into anything else dangerous like that. As he was turning his head to move along the reef, he was greeted with a school Moorish Idol fish swimming around his head. Letting go of the woman, he flailed his arms about causing the school to disperse, quickly to reform on the other side of them. He had never really done a scuba dive before, a bit of snorkeling here and there, but he had read up on everything he needed to know because he did want to do it one day. Even took a one day crash coarse while out surfing on the beach once. Being in the thick of it was very different! It wasn't bad, just unexpected. He had never guessed that they would be in the middle of, basically, every fish right away. Granted, they weren't super far from the shore since the beginning of the reef could be seen from the shallows.

What would lie beneath the sea? Sure, there were pictures of the reef online, but seeing a mere picture versus actually seeing it up close and personal were different experiences. All her senses felt slightly enhanced, almost as if they were excited to hear, see, and feel everything the ocean had to offer! The moment her dark eyes laid upon the colorful reef, they instantly lit up. " Whoa...! So pretty~ ", she thought as she quickly decided to swim right over for a closer look. Who knew the ocean could be this bright and have so much vivid color! Now she was definitely feel artistically inspired. An ocean themed clothing line! Now that would be something she'd be most excited about to make. It didn't seem like her fascination with the reef was felt alone. Looking over to her scuba buddy, she saw his own fascination and excitement over a few different schools of fish. She had to admit it -- looking at the cloud-like cluster of fish was making this feline...hungry. It was also a pretty wicked sight to see in person, too. The way that the fish dispersed but then clumped back together was interesting. Allix honestly wanted to play with them to see how many times they would come back together as one unit.
Seeing Finn get startled over a harmless shark practically made Allix laugh. However, she tried to stifle her laughter the best she could, especially since she had to make sure her mouthpiece was staying in place. As the shark swam on by, she boldly reached her hand out, allowing it to glide over the smooth skin of the shark. She wasn't sure how true this fact was, but apparently sharks had sensitive snouts. If you bumped on its snout, it would most likely swim off. Hmph, she wasn't going to go about testing that theory, though. She wouldn't want to make enemies with a shark in its own watery turf. Feeling the slight tug on her arm, Allix gave a tiny smirk before swimming along with Finn to give some distance between the two and the nurse shark. The marine life was amazing in person! It was so different than going to a simple aquarium. Scuba diving was more immersive; more fun! Besides the constant presence of different fish, a curious sea turtle swam into view, its flippers moving gracefully in the salty waters. It was so cute! Quickly, she pulled Finn over to grab his attention, pointing that their shelled friend as it blinked slowly at the two. ☽═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☾» MOOD: Amazedxxx» COMPANY: Finn! xxx» HOUSE: 1419 Douxxxx» OOC: xxx

There was so much to see! Finn was simply floored by the diversity before them. He knew there were hundreds of thousands of fish in the sea, just like mammals on land, but seeing them all up close like this was very different. The last time he had ever seen anything like this was a few years ago with Bree. With her power over the water she often went to the sea floor and looked at things from the bottom up, and he had accompanied her at least once. That was an interesting perspective as well. It kind of made you think of an HD, upside down aquarium. Being in the middle of the sea life, watching them go about their lives, was mystifying! Would he give up his life on land for the sea? Certainly not. But he could understand the appeal of those that did. As he was admiring the boundless schools of fish, he noticed Allix pulling his attention to the sea turtle passing by. It didn't seem at all bothered by their presence, scuttling by slowly and staring at them curiously. Was it just as awed by them as they were of it? Finn reached out and let his hand glide over the shell as it passed. The surface, though slightly bumpy from the grooves, felt just like a fingernail. He never would have guessed!
What came next had the brunette frantically trying to gain Allix's attention. His hand waved in the water as he pointed behind them. It was a sight he had caught from the corner of his eye, and he would have been terrified if he didn't know a single fact about the sharks of the sea. They were loners. This was a pod. As their silhouette took shape, the sound of their echolocation was able to be heard. Dolphins! While at first they didn't seem to notice the pair, a youngling was the first to take inquisitive notice of the foreigners. You could see the excitement on his face and Finn was quick to look over at Allix. Though curious, they were cautious. Finn's face lit up with child like wonder as one circled around him. This was amazing! He never would have guessed that he would end up this close to the sea life. Swimming with them and getting to actually interact with them were completely different things.

Watching Finn reach out to run his hand over the textured shell, Allix was dying to do so as well. Almost like a giddy child, she quickly stuck her hand out and felt the rough shell. It was amazing! Not a lot of people got to pet on a sea turtle! She was glad that she was able to experience something so cool and precious. Her dark eyes watched as the turtle left the two swimmers, but soon her attention was taken by the brunette. From the looks of his face, he was pretty excited about something else. Curiously, she turned to see what was up and was in shock. It was dolphins! The closest she's ever gotten to see one was at a marine amusement park. She never got to actually see them in wild like this before. It was incredible!
When the marine mammals swam up to the two, Allix felt pure happiness. They were so cute! Also, very smart! While one circled around Finn, another one swam up to the dark-haired female, poking her shoulder with its sleek snout. Dolphins were really playful creatures it seemed. After experiencing all of the wonder sea life, she was starting to wonder if Felix would've liked to go diving as well. She was trying to find a new hobby for him to do, just to keep him out of trouble with the law. Perhaps scuba diving would be good for him? He seemed to be good at the art assignments she gave him from time to time, but he never really seemed all that content with it. He actually seemed kind of annoyed. Whatever, now wasn't the time to think about that. After the dolphins swam off, Allix motioned for Finn to follow her.
