History of Magic ~ A
History of Magic was never an amazing class for him, but he was solidly interested in the subjects of the last few years and also he was able to stay a little more engaged because of his liking of the subject. And because he did remember a lot from the previous O.W.L and was able to recall mostly everything he needed to, he was able to squeak by with a lower A.
Mythology ~ P
Theo had usually been engaged in the class and had done pretty well, but this time around, he didn't do as much studying because he believed that some N.E.W.Ts required more time than this one studying. Because of his lack of intense studying, he walked away with just below an A, but unfortunately, not high enough to warrant an A, much to his dismay. He had expected an EE or an O and may have gotten one if he studied a lot more, but unfortunately, he didn't.
Alchemy ~ EE
This was one of Theo's better classes and one in which he had done well in pretty much every time. It was also taught by a professor in which he respected very much. And when Theo was paying attention, he performed very well and remembered just about everything. So, due to this, and his affinity for the subject itself, he was able to pass with a high EE.
Astronomy ~ P
This class got neglected to say the least. He knew a lot about it, but he just didn't study much at all for it. So, that being said, there were concepts on the NEWT in which he just didn't remember from class unfortunately. So, he didn't do too well on it. He also didn't feel as if he should be worrying about this NEWT as the others because it was more of a hobby than a necessity.
Healing ~ EE
Despite how much his professor sometimes believed him to laze around a bit, Theo actually paid close attention to her, because he knew that healing was a very useful subject and he actually wanted to be good at it. He was, naturally good at the wandwork behind it, but he studied the theory and application as much as he possibly could to make sure he did well on this N.E.W.T. One, because it opened up so many options for him in the field and it would be a lot more appealing on a resume that he has great knowledge in healing magic. Plus, the help that he provided to Cathy with her O.W.L in the art of Healing provided for the best review for him, which may actually had been one of the reasons why he performed so well on this NEWT.
Potions ~ A
To say that he studied hard for a NEWT is absolutely an understatement for this particular NEWT. Theo knew that he could do all the NEWTs that involved the wandwork, but he really knew that he would have a particular amount of trouble on this NEWT if he did not study. And he did. Since a good amount of his friends had graduated the previous year, when Theo was not helping Cathy out with her wandwork, or neglecting his Astronomy or Mythology, he was studying Potions. One would say that the time he would have spent studying his Mythology or Astronomy NEWTs, he spent on Potions. He hated reading, but he may have read the whole textbook twice over the year and reviewed every Potion he possibly could. It kind of helped that he thought their new Potions professor was attractive and paid a heck of a lot more attention because of it too. So, the keen attention he paid over the year and the amount of studying he did, the boy was able to pull off a high A .
Wizard Law ~ EE
Theo loved this class from the day he started. He just loved learning about all about what it entailed and despite the fact that he was a bit of a rulebreaker, he loved learning the in's and out's of the wizard world. He's always excelled in the class as well, due to the fact that he was solidly interested and always studied for it. He did quite well on this NEWT; of course, not enough to be perfect, but enough to claim a high EE, but it was an EE nonetheless. He wished he could've did good enough for the O, but he didn't.
Herbology ~ A
He wasn't solidly interested in this class really. He did work in it and he did study, but he just couldn't do enough to get an EE. He just found himself getting quite bored while studying and finding himself falling asleep. He was still okay at the class in general and knew enough about it to get an A however. It wasn't like he didn't pay attention in class, it's just that he had a hard time studying a lot for it. The grade fit what he expected for it.
