Personality: Marie is goal-oriented and a huge planner. She likes to create maps and schedules so she can make the most out of every day. Her excitement is contagious, so the people around her tend to get pumped about anything she is passionate about. She dreams of traveling the world, meeting thousands of different people, and learning about everything she possibly can; ambitious doesn't even begin to cover it. She can be influenced easily by others, going as far as to pick up accents and speech patterns just by listening to someone for a minute accidentally. Her personality is a mixing pot of whoever she's around and her natural affinity for people and kindness. She just loves people, which makes her likeable.
Strangers may find her a bit unsettling because of how often (and deeply) she daydreams. She can get lost in her thoughts during anything- some joke that even a war couldn't stop her from wondering about how flowers feel when you compliment them. Most people get the impression that she's hyperactive because she can blurt out things suddenly or change topics mid-sentence. Despite this, she can also listen to a story for hours. Just because she can lose her train of thought at times doesn't mean she can't be very intelligent and intuitive. Intention is everything to her, and she always tries to make people feel important/loved whenever she can. Anger isn't foreign to her, regardless of how well she acts happy 24/7. The girl just considers anger and hate a wasted emotion and that everyone is worthy of forgiveness and love. This isn't to say that she can't be rubbed the wrong way by others. Prejudiced people can light a match in her within seconds. Marie believes that inferiority doesn't exist and certainly can't be inherent. Besides this sometimes-small group of people, Marie will trust anything and anyone. Marie was born to a Sydney and Erik Dressel in her village. She was an only child for fourteen years, when Sydney made her a little brother- Lucas. He was labeled a miracle because of all the fertility problems Sydney had had after Marie. The Dressels loved him and wanted Marie to teach him the ways of the shinobi. Marie was enthusiastic to have a little brother because she loved kids and wanted to play with him. Their neighborhood in the village was as friendly as any other and Marie saw them all as family. The elderly couple on the corner were always so kind and would bake cookies for any birthday. Marie would take Lucas over there to play in their extensive backyard and they would snack until dinner, when they'd walk back home for the evening. At least, this is the story Marie will tell you.
