There was no helping this kind of thing Ayane supposed, as she quietly waited just inside the library for Lute. Her eyePhone was on silent, mainly out of respect for the facility but more because she didn't want to get yelled at. She stared at it intently, waiting for a text to come across to let her know when Lute was going to arrive. She was chewing her bottom lip, and took the moment to put the phone back in her purse and check her hair, then her kimono again. She had reached a point now that putting the more formal attire on was easy to do on her own, but she was starting to favor the kind of clothing Lute wore over her own cultural fare.

Still, if she was going to have to sit and study and focus, then she needed the "armor" of being an Oni. She needed to remind herself why she was here. Lute was a distraction.. a lovely, soft, warm - cuddly distraction that she knew deep down she had great burning desire and affection for - but still... a distraction.

Not that she disliked it. Distractions were good, they were healthy. She just needed to be sure that she could channel that distracted energy into some productive ends. She pulled her phone back out - trying her best not to fidget. She just really hoped that Lute would show - she wouldn't get anything done otherwise.

Lute was a little surprised by all of this but didn't protest how could she? To say that the little monster ghoul was wrapped around her ghoulfriends finger was an understatement but that was in the best way. At the entrance of the library Lute smiled, seeing the Oni just inside and approaching with a small smile. Though not as sneakily as she would have liked given her hooves.

"Hello.." Lute called shyly, then paused presenting herself. Her short pink hair was pulled at the top into a side ponytail, a long grey sweater worn with the sleeves pushed up and a pair of multicolored tights. A backpack pulled over both shoulders and the straps being nervously petted over by peachy slender fingers.
