Seiji had been in the gym a lot lately as well. His reasons had less to do with any impending war, and quite a bit more with his desire to speed towards graduation. He had plans, things he was eager to get started. He was also a little sick of being at school, truth be told. He'd been there long enough already. It was high time he moved on.
So him arriving really wasn't any surprise. In fact, he'd actually seen Shun there a time or two, but the reaper always seemed so narrowly focused, the ghost hadn't wanted to disturb him.
Today wasn't really any different. He watched as Shun went to town on the dummy, wrapping tap around his hands as h did so. He could have left him alone again, did his own thing, but instead he headed towards him. "Hey, do you want a really opponent?"

Seiji waited, patiently, for Shun to acknowledge him. When he did turn, the ghost offered a smile in greeting, a dip of his head. It'd been a while since he'd seen the other boil, longer still since they;d last spoken, and even then. They'd never been close. Brief encounters, usually in classes.
But they hadn't been enemies, either.
When Shun bowed, stance shifting, Seiji did the same. Has hands came up, and instead of curling fingers into fists, he brought out the claws that came and went so easily now.

For a big guy, Seiji was quick, but not quite big enough to avoid the slice altogether. It pulled a hiss from him, made him jerk back and a while before pivoting on his toes to keep the reaper in front of him. He couldn't let him have anymore openings, Shun was too strong for that. If the ghost wanted any chance of winning he was going to have to watch himself, dodge what he could, attack when he could, and not make foolhardy choices.
Of course, being too careful wasn't going to win him any battles either. The swipe he took next was tentative, barely nicked the other man's arm.

Seiji wasn't really surprised that Shun was managing to push him back and keep him on his toes. Frustrated, yes, but not surprised. He grit his teeth as the blows hit his arms, making them throb painfully.
If he wanted to have a chance at winning he was going to have to get serious, and that meant digging deep and tapping into his Fear. The dark marks on his arms twitched, then came a live to flow down either arm, but instead of growing longer, the claws started to shrink instead. When they were gone, when there was nothing but his own fingers again, he made his move.
A quick forward charge led into a heavy right hook into the reaper's stomach. Then a fast upper cut from the left before he was dancing back on his toes.

Shun took a step back as he saw Seiji changed a little. Namely, his arms. He wasn't entirely certain what to expect, but he attempted to move out of the way regardless. The blow that connected to his stomach came a lot harder than any previous hits, and it knocked him back onto the ground several feet. The Reaper let out a wet cough, as he slowly pushed himself back into a crouching position in the very least. With his good eye narrowing, shadows began to gather around his two blades.
He bolted forth, now moving considerably faster than he had been before. For this first strike, he just attempted to drive one blade deep into the ghost's belly.
HP: 14

SoS Charge: 3/3 <-Using
Signet of shadows artifact: After landing a blow at least 3 times, Shun may activate it to grant him an additional turn. This turn may be used for an attack, defend, item use, or FEAR.
