Astronomy ~A
Kalin sort of feels like a little like a failure for this test. He felt he had done great in the practical but the long written test was...long! And it had happened the night of his DADA exam and he had just been whipped after that so he didn't really have a lot brain matter left.

Charms ~EE
Despite what Thane, and sometimes his older brother, said about the class he really enjoyed charms and it showed in how he studied. He might not always get the spell right the first time but he knew all the material.

Defense Against the Dark Arts ~O
Kalin was always good at defense, mainly because he liked the fact that he could protect his loved ones with a few simple words and actions. And even though he doesn't know if that's what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Still, he studied and practiced all year and even encouraged and tutored his friends so that they could all do well. He thinks he did pretty well on the written test and while he was a bit startled by his boggart, he believes he passed the practical portion as well.

Herbology ~EE
Kalin enjoyed the class even though the professor scared the mess out of him. He studied all the plants they had gone over the past five years and was pretty sure he aced the written part of the exam. And he did apologize to the poor plant he dropped in the practical.

History of Magic ~A
He felt like a fish out of water in this class, mainly because the first ten years of his life he had never heard about any of these people and yet suddenly he had to know close to everything! It was all very confusing (especially the names!), time consuming, and mind numbing. He studied as much as he could and was pretty sure he only memorized the weird stuff. Which was luckily in abundance on the test.

Potions ~A
Even though he had Thane tutoring him since the beginning of the summer, he still didn't completely understand potions. Well no, he understood potions he just couldn't make the come out the way they were supposed to. Or remember all the ingredients, which was a shame since he did that when he was cooking. Also he was sure his potion wasn't supposed to look like...that.

Transfiguration ~A
Kalin does not like transfiguration. He's never liked transfiguration. He didn't think it was fair to change an animal into a water goblet. Why not something not living like a rock? Suffice to say that he refused to dare try to vanish the poor kitten (having practiced the last few months knowing it wasn't his strongest spell) and instead stole it to add to their menagerie at home.

Arithmancy ~EE
He was surprised he liked this class as much as he had, or rather that he was as good at it. He hadn't been that good at his maths in primary so he worked extra hard in the class and in studying for the tests and very much liked the outcome.

Cooking with Magic ~O
He doesn't want to seem egotistical or anything, but he knows his way around a kitchen. And learning to cook by using magic just made everything he already knew just a little easier. He will say though that he had never seen a grown man guzzle down pumpkin pasties quite as fast as his proctor had.

Healing ~O
Kalin studied very hard for this class, even using his boyfriend as a guinea pig for some of the spells that needed a test subject. He might have flubbed a bit on the written test but he feels like he really aced the practical. The young girl even gave him her floo address so he had to have done great!
