[PRP] Undeadly (Lutz/Rojo)

There was a ton to get done before prom night and Rojo was out every day doing a little of it at a time. Today his list consisted of finding an optimal streamer placing strategy and carefully analyzing a very complex punch delivery system to determine whether or not it was party worthy. All he was certain of at the moment was that it had a great many tubes and spouts, far more than he had been able to carry in one trip from his dorm to the gym. This was his second run and he was being especially careful not to trip over his wriggling cargo along the way. If he broke any of this equipment while he was only supposed to be giving it a test run, the faculty would probably be very displeased.

Still, there was a big difference between breaking something and playing with it, and the rubber tubes were so delightfully springy. Rojo found himself bouncing a bit as he walked to encourage them, enjoying the way the tubing smacked from the ground almost all the way back up as high as he was tall.

Prom this, prom that--Lutz was getting tired of hearing it all. He didn't care so much that other people were excited for it, but the boil was still feeling a little disgruntled over the fact that he had been roped into attending. What could a boil like him possibly do at prom? He didn't care about eating, didn't like to socialize, and absolutely detested any and all forms of dancing. Regardless of whether or not he went, he would probably spend the evening the same way: reading a good mystery novel and ignoring all else. The only difference was that his dorm room would probably be decidedly more people-free.

But no, apparently his friends (how did he even have friends) saw fit to rope him along for the ride. Grumbling to himself about how he didn't want to see or hear any more of the upcoming event, Lutz trudged down the hallway...

..only to glance up in confusion at the loud smacking sound from just around the corner. Arching a brow, the marionette turned said corner to find that another student was headed this way. He appeared to be in possession of...some kind of tubing? Brows creasing in confusion, Lutz jerked his head towards the objects. "What in Halloween are you doing with those things?"

Rojo looked up, jaws parted slightly in a toothsome grin. He didn't know why there was a reaper with a stick backpack in the undead dorms, but he was also well aware that there was no restriction on such visits, so he shrugged and moved past it. The calaca bounced a bit as he came to a stop, then wiggled the tubes once more for good measure.

"I am bringing them to the gym! They are pieces of a fountain! For drinks! The punch will spray all over the top and creeple can catch it or just take a cup from the bottom, maybe. I'm not sure." He hefted the tubes so they wouldn't fall. "Would you like to hold them? They are bouncier than you would think!"

For a minute, Lutz just stared at the other student, finding that he certainly seemed a lot more...enthusiastic than he would have expected. In contrast, the marionette's expression was completely flat as he slowly shook his head. "Uh, thanks for the offer, but I'm fine." He still didn't understand what these tubes were being used for though. A fountain in the gym? Why the hell would you set up a fountain in the--

--oh. Oh, wait. Folding his arms across his chest, Lutz cocked his head to the side and squinted at the boil, recognition slowly creeping up on him. "You're...on student council, aren't you?"

His eyes flickered back towards the objects in his arms. "Prepping for prom, huh?"
