Eclipse and Madoka were both born into the same herd. Madoka was the filly of the Alpha and her mate, Eclipse was chosen to be raised and trained at Madoka's Protector. Like all things, nothing is done without effort and work. Madoka's parents were good leaders and took care of the herd. The herd came first, but there was always a power struggle.
The two foals grew up together and played together, they created a bond easily and were almost inseparable. But all good things come to an end. There was another stallion in the herd that was always trying to steal the power and become leader. With the birth of Madoka it caused his need to rise and he went to an outside source... He hire another horse to kill them.
Madoka, had she been older would have taken over the herd. But as a foal the horrible stallion took control by force and before the herd could go against him he had Madoka excommunicated. He left her to die at the edge of the dessert so that she could never come back to take her rightful place. To bad for him that the filly was a survivor.
At the first change he had Eclipse snuck away from the herd. Leaving his family behind was hard but he had always been trained to protect Madoka and he wasn't going to let her down. And this began his journey to finding Madoka, his best friend and the herds true leader. Little did he know how long it would take him to finally find her.

Some future plottings
- When Eclipse finds Madoka, she's not what he was expecting to find. He tries to convince Madoka to go back to the herd but finds that she's not quiet right.
- Madoka struggled to survive and because of that, she's a little weird, skittish and untrusting. She'll remember Eclipse and be wary of his appearance. Did the current herd's leader know she was alive?
- Madoka will realize that her feelings for Eclipse are more then a friend but will be to scared to speak them to him.
- Eclipse will try take Madoka on a journey to 'find herself' again so that they can go back to the herd and she can claim her rightful place.
