[1v1] Reigniting ( Uru & Andrew )

He wasn't being creepy. He wasn't stalking. It was in the student directory. Every student had access to it. Every student could find out where a student was staying in the dorms if they knew the name and their race. It was simple. It wasn't being weird or anything. That was what Uru kept telling himself as he stood panting outside Andrew's door, sweaty, dressed in his morning running clothes, and a duffel bag over his shoulder, his hand resting on the door frame. Damien was busy and he did not want to go alone to the gym this particular morning. He could get a good spar in with the demon, it was probably one of the best work outs he's head in a long time. It wasn't just a work out, it made him think fast and actually move against another force that pushed back on him. Okay, he was asking Andrew for a spar. That was the bottom line. That was what made him look through the student directory to find Andrew's room number (because he was a demon and they lived in the same building), to ask him to go to the gym .

There was a very high chance that the door would be shut in his face.

Would charming him work?... Usually got him free sprinkles on his Ice Scream at the Maul...

Uru knocked.

Plans? Andrew hadn't even bothered to put shoes on yet. It was looking out to be a warm day, but hadn't gotten to optimum temperature yet. Andrew had his room heater cranked all the way up, much to the cringe of most visitors and half his neighbors.

He should have been doing school work. He really should. but the papers were ignored in a flutter on his desk and rolling on the ground. one hapless book bat was half burnt, as was common for his room. he had dazed back out, wings sprawled and tail handing off the end of his couch when he heard a knock.

Not a pound, thankfully. This meant whoever it was would not barge in in the next two seconds. He didn't move for one moment still drifting in lethargia.

Finally he shuffled over and opened the door only to find... wolf. Pulling a wing up, he leaned on the door frame. "What?" Andrew was not a morning person.

Uru chuckled at the demon's sleep mussed self, the tiredness. Probably not a morning person, he could understand that. Sometimes he was too. However, today was not one of those days. He had already gone for his morning run and was going to piggyback it ontop of a spar. It was going to be a good morning.

"Do you feel up for a rematch?" He grinned, his chest panting beneath the black tanktop.

"Seriously? It's not even noon yet." Seriously who even left their rooms before noon? The heat of the day didn't even start until after noon. Andrew had half a mind to just turn around and close the door. All his precious heat was escaping.

Though revenge did sound like a good idea. He glanced at the Fear amp attached to his arm. "Alright find, let me put my shoes on. but only because it's already warm out there." summer was good. So warm. He would be needing to make his summer trip home soon, but today was not that day.

Andrew turned away from the door partially closing it as he hunted for his boots, one was tossed up against the wall near the heater and another under the couch. Another minute later they were laced up, all the way up. A short tug later told him they were secure, and able to handle a sudden landing.

A wick tried to escape the room in the short time Andrew was distracted but stopped to stare up at Uru wings folded. It sniffed at him starting before Andrew casually boot scooted it back inside. "Get in there."

"And you're still inside?" He deadpanned as he readjusted the duffel bag across his chest. The flame demon moved back inside with some rustling. Uru twisted at the hip a few times, one way then the other, before the curiosity got the better of him. He shouldn't have peeked inside through the small gap that was left ajar for when the demon was peering at his visitor at the high time of day. He could not help but notice the scent and the heat that radiated from inside. It might as well have been a sauna! Before he could lean forward to get a better look, a smallish creature peeked up from behind the door with a soft sound. A snuffle and Uru was looking at it. It was a mini, one that he was not familiar with.

With minis that was not his own, he did not touch them unless expressively permissed to do so. It was then that the flame demon had returned. Uru looked at him with a 'you-ready?' expression before gesturing with his head, jogging down the hallway. The gym shouldn't be too crowded... many students shared Andrew's 'it's-too-early' mentality now that the school year is nearing the end.

Andrew felt there was not further comment about the mini necessary. He had been gentle, and she was merely trying to escape. He honestly didn't know how all the fire minis got into his room all the time anyways, it was full of them. And wither he liked them or not, he simply adapted. There was no getting ride of them. (Though he had suspicions that half the mini's from Danny's old room had migrated into his, with his room being one of the hottest around.)

Instead he merely followed the wolf, yawning a bit as he did. He stretched his wings smacking a wall before they even got outside. once out he was stretching again taking a considerably slower pace. Uru would just have to wait, Andrew was much slower on his feet than in the air.

He did drag himself all the way to the training area and spread his wings to absorb some of the wonderful pumpkin sun heat. Ahhh yes. Heat, energy, his tail was already burning a bit higher from it.

"Alright, I'm ready." he let the fire leap to his fingers.

Uru cracked his knuckles with a grin, his body tense with anticipation. He was going to take advantage of Andrew's sluggishness. As a fighter, you seek out the other's weakness and go for it.

Uru charged toward the other demon, his form ripped away by a wave of shadow before revealing his full natural state. The lion-sized canine barreled toward the flame demon, banking on the change and vision of a very large demon charging toward him would throw him off. Before he reached Andrew, Uru quickly turned back to his humanoid state, with his fist drawn back ready to land a heavy blow.

"What the Jack?" Andrew stepped back an braced himself. As the wolf came in, he shoved out a fist and aimed his fire for face or chest after the transformation back, whatever he could reach. He used the impact from being hit to hit Uru back.

But he was hurting a little bit already.

Uru flinched. He flinched and pulled back as he neared the demon. He was overconfident, his body moved in as he landed to follow into a strike that would cripple the flame demon's morale but he had stumbled forward with a cry as flames took over his vision. Jack!

After the first hits landed Andrew launched away and up into the air. Uru seemed to be having a small problem keeping up. That was fine by Andrew who summoned up a lot of fireballs, letting them hover around himself a moment as he gathered and then pointed down, directing them all down.

It looked like his last hit had surprised him. He would not give the wolf a chance to even fully retaliate.

Uru let out a roar of agony as he took the blows left and right. They were so quick and they were dead on. The training the flame demon underwent was definitely showing and Uru was taking the full brunt of the attack. Panting, he rushed forth, trying to keep the distance between them as minimal as possible. But with wings such as his, Andrew could just fly away if he needed distance.

Uru was on him like glue. Even with a bit of air the wolf could still jump. And Andrew was forced to land. He couldn't really fight unless he was close, but now was a good time to try his trick again. He pulled at the fire, turning it green. It wasn't as strong as it could have been, but it he had a good grasp of the feel this time. Now if only he could hit.

Uru nearly flinched at the sight of the red flames turning green. He attributed green fire to demonic, corrupted and tainted... the sight bothered him but did not startle or frighten him. The demon wolf closed the distance, sweeping at the demon's legs to trip him, but his hand would shoot out to grab him to prevent his fall, pushing him back. This was a spar, harming him wasn't the true intent.

"Crap." Uru swept his legs out and Andrew wound up falling, legs stinging. But then Uru grabbed him and subconsciously Andrew's hand came up to the hand that was attached to him, trying to hold himself up more than actually attacking back. His wings fluttered as he tried to regain his balance but really it was Uru's hand that was keeping him there at the moment and somewhere Andrew realized that... and would not let go of it.

Yes his hands were still burning green but his focus wasn't good enough to actually burn Uru at the moment.
