Personality:
A Epistemophile. Hakem is known for keeping his head about him, approaching everything with regality and ascendancy. He can appear stoic and aloof, gentle yet stern, with the variability to be a guiding hand or a cold autocrat. First meetings oft leave outsiders with the impression that he is proud, formal, and perhaps flat, characteristically; nonetheless, his warmness, easygoingness, and amiablility are easily as notable. Upon spending time with him one will quickly come to know the male for his bad jokes and, at times, smart-mouthedness. Hakem takes life in stride, never disingenuous to the people he meets on his way. While he has a streak of protectiveness for those significant to him, using violence if necessary, he is a man who is noble and liable never to leave a man behind.
Bio:
Hakem prefers to leave his mid teenage to early adult years out of casual conversation, but will share if asked by someone he trusts. As a youth he was raised in a pack, orphaned from birth with no knowledge of his true parents. He was bitter in being looked down on by his adoptive father and often rebelled in any way he could. At the age of fifteen he was kicked out of the pack and dropped from high school, joining a gang to get himself by. It took him six years to be inspired to make something of himself, so he went to college. He first had to get his ged, but became the first in his class and the Alumni as well as being involved in various school activities and clubs. He was an astronomy major and an English minor. Graduating and finally having his own life, he was offered many jobs before choosing to go into teaching. It took him several months of looking through offers and visiting different schools before he came across Koizora; just seeing the review for the school sparked his interest, so he applied. He met his soul mate in one of the teachers, but after a year of being together he lost her to sickness. The man drifted in the motions of living for either months, doing the bare minimum to keep his job and his sanity. He only began to come out of it after discovering his biological family and being welcomed to a place he belonged for the first time in his life. He also met someone new, another teacher, with whom he helped make mischief for students and staff alike more than anything else. He asked her out a month later, and purposed two years after that. Getting to visit his nephew on a beach side city, the couple decided to move there for the new scenery.
