The idea was not to have it set up in the courthouse to "promote a pluralistic society.", but that the Ten Commandments should be removed.
Interesting to note that the Satanic Temple, along with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, launched a lawsuit against the courthouse in retaliation in Franklin County Courthouse in Indiana. So much for pluralism.What is religious pluralism?
