[PRP] Murder Long Overdue (Shun / Hel) [FIN]

It was truly fortunate to find another friend she hadn't seen in a very long time. Especially one as good as this one. As soon as she had caught sight of the Grim, she was all but barreling towards him. She cleared a fence on the school grounds that stood in her way without missing a beat, and continued to barrel in his direction, her arms outstretched.

"SHUUUUUUUUUUUN!"

That was the voice of Death that drew near. Shun turned to see Hel barreling straight for him with arms outstretched. Though, he wasn't certain if she wanted a hug or to strangle him. He didn't want either option.

And so, he stepped out of the way.

"Hel."

Hel didn't want to strangle him (yet). She did want to hug him. While she knew the reaper was not the touchy-feely kind (and never would be), it had been so long she just wanted to. As he side stepped, Hel tried putting on the brakes but ended up sliding right past him, kicking up dirt and grass. She managed to catch herself and spun around, but didn't lunge for him again. Instead, she popped up right in front of him and was giving him a face splitting grin.

"Shun!" She cried once more, throwing her hands into the air. "It has been what feels like forever, friend! How are you fairing!?"

Shun was ready to move again when she spun around. Thankfully, she didn't try for a second pass.

"I am... well enough, I suppose," he started.

Might as well get this over with. While he was still prepared.

"I got married to Mitsu several months back. Courtroom."

He crouched down, ready.

Hel was about to open her mouth again, but then promptly shut it as she stared at him, silently. It was a long moment, and in the reaper dorms, in a room on the third floor, the surprised cry of a large raven familiar echoed as it disappeared, and then reappeared as a spear in Hel's hands. She lunged, swinging with murderous intent.

"YOU ARE THE WORST FRIEND EVER!"

Shun saw that coming, and he pushed his hands out to try and deflect the spear, but the tip still managed to graze against his body. Seeing how she was armed, he went ahead and summoned his own daggers.

"Just because there was no wedding?" he asked dryly. He shifted in, then attempted to sweep Hel into the ground. Hard. If possible.

"No!" Hel snarled. Her fighting style already wasn't situated for dodging, and going into this in a rage, she definitely didn't care to block any hits. She went down, hard, but she was right back on him again. "Because you went without telling me beforehand, asshat!"

She rolled back up, and aimed a hard thrust of her spear at the Grim.

"You knew we were engaged. What else was there to say?" he grunted as her spear caught his side. Hissing through his teeth, Shun smacked the spear aside, then went to slice at her arm.

"Obviously, Shun--" She hissed as his blade sliced across her arm, leaving a cut in her clothing she'd need to stitch later. "YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE! Being engaged and then actually getting married are two different things!"

Since he was so close, she made a fist and punched the arm that had sliced at her.

Another grunt escaped him. Shun backed away, just for a moment.

"We did not wish to make a big deal about it. There was no ceremony. What difference does it make then or now?"

With that said, he moved to try and get around her, aiming a kick to the back of her knee.

"Friendship, Shun. Friendship. Finding out many Octobers afterwards is pretty shitty!"

If that made any sense. It was Hel though, so it didn't always. Only in her head. The reaper made a small hiss at that hit, but luckily it wasn't powerful enough to hinder her. She spun around, making another fist and aiming for Shun's ribs.

Shun only grunted lowly as the blow connected to his side. From there, he stepped back, bringing his blades up and watching Hel carefully to see if he could intercept her next move.

Hel did need to berate him verbally anymore, so instead just fell back on fighting entirely. She leapt back as he drew up his weapons, righting her spear. She then leapt right back in, but pulled a feint to the right before bringing her weapon around from the left.

It was still hard for Shun to defend his left side properly. Her spear cut into him, causing him to stagger. Though, he quickly regained his footing, then moved in to strike back at her, aiming for the same arm he had sliced prior.

Hel let out another hiss as he struck her arm again, and rushed him. She pulled her shoulder down and then aimed to slam him with her weight. She was also aiming to pin him between her body and the stone wall of the reaper garden dorms, to use it to her advantage.
