Hida watches as several people launch attacks against the Menos, dealing a lot of damage to them. The Menos then began to pound against Nara, but she seems to be handling it fine. He continues to watch and observe until he feels his phone buzz. He pulls it out and looks at it. It told him to report back for new orders. He nods and then closes the phone. It looks like what was going on here was handled with the Shinigami and other races that had shown up. He didn’t expect them to need any help to end this, nor for it to take much longer. He turns and enters the Senkaimon that opens behind him, returning to Soul Society.

The Bunny Hollow were caught completely unaware and unable to react as the Bount girl's Blast Calamity came crashing down on the group. It tore them asunder and left their corpses fried and kicking in the throws of death, but was it really death? Unless they were devoured or purified, they were likely to just dissolve and reform soon via their own impressive regeneration back in Hueco Mundo.

Though, for the most part the threat had been eliminated and the souls that had been seeking refuge in the Hospital remains were now moving on, and fleeing from the rest of the impressively powerful people, either to avoid konso or devouring, each having unfinished business in the World of the Living that kept them tethered there.

User ImageNara brought her shield up to block the flurry of attacks that were lobbied against her. Her shield held strong, clanging loudly with every impact, but not bending. The force pushed Nara to one knee, but she withstood the assault. There was a flurry of movement, that was hard for Nara to track, but the hollow was quickly defeated.

But Nara’s work was not complete. She approached the quivering mass that was all that was left of the menos. There were three souls that needed purification.

Nara drew her blade, and one by one purified the hollows, hitting them in the forehead with the pommel of her blade.

When this task was over, Nara looked around for Yuki, but did not immediately see her.

Tora lays there prone on the ground. After a moment she takes a sharp breath and pushes herself back up. "Ugh, that was a stupid, stupid, stupid thing to do, Tora ..." she chides herself. Her phone buzzes again and she rolls her eyes. Not this time. Though she must hand it to Sawako for giving her a much more durable device. Sawako. Where is she? Tora sits up and looks around for a familiar face. The dust seems to be clearing and some of the combatants were filtering away. There is no sign of the menos. "Well, this is just great. I really need to learn how to keep my temper in check."

She sighs and begins to relax some, the compounding stresses from before seeming like so much less than they were earlier. 'Gifu is going to chew me out ... My aunt will probably scold me ... and worse ... I really actually deserve it. I'm so busy worrying that my family doesn't see me as an adult, I am just proving them right.' She stares down at the ground for a moment and then stands up and dusts herself off. 'No sense in wallowing in self-pity or shedding tears of embarassment. I need to just apologize so I can move on and feel better. Considering that I have no history of this, they will likely go easier on me for being so reckless. Especially if I just go up to them to get it over with. With any luck, it will be waved off. Still, I have my pride and my pride is going to stay bruised if I do not address this. Then there is Sawako-sama. Where did the vice-captain go?'

She looks around and sighs, shivering slightly. She looks down at herself and flushes with embarrassment, then bolts behind a wall that still stands and quickly opens the bag that she has been carrying around. 'Why the hell do I not have control over my form? Seventy-Five percent cat and nobody will bat an eye at me being naked. Seventy-Five percent human and I am naked as the day I was born.' She quickly slips into her uniform and prays that she doesn't shift back into her smaller form or she would be left in a tangled mess of fabrics. She sighs and leans back against the wall, feeling pretty humiliated by her rashness and her body. "Well, ******** ... Let's get this over with."
She flicks her tail, holds her head high, and her ears turned back slightly. The cat girl is more than frustrated with the situation, but the only thing she can do is to move on and have some dignity despite it all. She looks down at her hands and notices the claws are now replaced with fingernails, still capped in sharp metal. Running her tongue lightly across the backs of her teeth she tastes the metal. Yup, still bonded to her physically. It is something that she cannot truly comprehend. She is not a fused shinigami in the classic sense, but rather she cannot seem to get her shikai's physical form to revert to inactive. Perhaps eventually she will either learn how or get used to it. She rubs the tattoo on her shoulder. It has healed for the most part, but after that skid on the ground, it is sore.

She makes her way back over and notices her aunt. She bows politely to Nara. "Vice-captain. Please excuse my sorry performance. I hope that my rashness has not caused any issues." She looks up at Nara and wonders if she is going to be scolded or greeted kindly. Her attention turns to Nara's face and her nimble mind scans for what she has memorized about the various captains and vice-captains. An Ellarose? Interesting. She suddenly diverts her gaze when she realizes that she has been staring. A memory crosses her mind and thinks over the ramifications. "Vice-captain Nara Ellarose-sama, is it?" She reaches into her bag and shuffles around for something. "Vice-captain, I have a message from the head of my family. Please accept the letter. I do not know its contents. Again, please forgive my impertinence earlier." She bows again and hands her the envelope. It is a simple white envelope with a red wax seal that bears the Hi mon. There is nothing written on the outside. Inside the letter says:

"Vice-captain Ellarose, I hope this letter finds you well. It has been long since our families have interacted. This needs to be rectified. At some point, I desire that we should meet and clear the air. It is not right that this tension should continue unaddressed. Please consider being my guest for tea. Also, please send my regards to my little sister, Yuki. I trust that you are treating her fairly. From what I have heard you two are getting along well, which is encouraging. Unless she has redelegated this task to somebody else, the girl who has handed you this letter is my daughter. Please send your reply back to me through her since she can be trusted with being confidential.

Sincerely, Sasuga Hi-Sanada, Head of the Hi Clan, retired Judge"

Tora stands there waiting as instructed, for what, she does not know. As the letter indicated she is respectful enough to not invade somebody else's business. Her uniform indicates that she is from the third division, possibly explaining why she is not used to combat zone practices. She is used to policing and searching out internal threats to the Soul Society.

What a brilliant display of power! Sawako was impressed with the little blonde's display of strength. Using her stored power, she unleashed a blast that was more than enough to put a stop to the rambunctious trio of Menos. Who or what was she, exactly? The shinigami was curious and normally would approach her to learn more. However, with the group of Hollow slain, it was rather impertinent that she locate the missing cat. ‘I suppose I am somewhat to blame for her death, if she is in fact dead…’ the woman mused to herself, twirling a few strands of hair around her finger. She would take one last look at the twin tailed blonde before bringing herself to “do the right thing”. With a Flash Step, the vice captain made her way to the ground and started to search the wreckage where the Hollow crashed into the building. It was the last place she saw the kitten before she seemingly disappeared. From the small search, she could not find a body nor sense her lingering spirit. Sawako wondered if maybe she had gotten eaten, or perhaps crushed into smithereens, or…

Well, she was now at a loss for what to do about this. Continuing to search a little longer may or may not prove fruitful. That and the mysterious girl might leave before getting the chance to be further observed and studied. The researcher hummed to herself, trying to figure out what to do. She happened to look around and catch a glimpse of the Ellerose shinigami performing her purification on the Hollow. But also, it seemed another girl had appeared standing next to her. And...was that a lieutenant’s badge she saw? Taking a moment to find out what was going on, Sawako headed toward the pair with her usual cheshire smile adorning her face. “Well, well. Nicely done, vice captain. A new promotion, I take it?” she discerned, certain she wasn’t at the vice captain meetings prior. She would also look at the beige haired shinigami, opening her eyes clearly to get a good look at her. This new young lady appeared to have furry ears and a tail. There was an odd air of familiarity...deja vu? It was unclear, but this girl was definitely ringing bells… “Hmm…” Sawako mused to herself, suddenly acting before thinking and placing her hand on her head between her ears. Patting her on the head was inexplicably natural she felt and didn’t think it odd in the slightest to do.

User ImageNara continued scanning the thinning crowd, looking for some sign of her third seat, but Yuki was nowhere to be found. She began to worry, but that worry was interrupted when a young shinigami approached her. Nara recognized the shinigami as the cat-like creature that had launched a follhardy attack against the Menos trio. Nara could not say that such a move was wise, but it had shown quite a bit of bravery. However, the girl apologized for her performance against the menos, an apology that Nara did not think was necessary.

”There is nothing to apologize for. You fought fiercely.” She clasped a hand to the girl’s shoulder as a sign of affection, from a superior to a soldier.

The girl fumbled in her pockets for a few moments and retrieved a letter, handing it to Nara. She took the letter and unsealed it. Scanning over it, Nara took in a deep breath as she read it. It was a missive from the leader of the Hi Clan, one of the clans that Aarendor had caused so much trouble for.

Apparently, he was requesting a meeting with her to “clear the air” between their two clans. Nara was nervous about meeting someone who had so much cause to hate her family, but she decided on the spot that it was time to clear the air between her clans. Clan Ellerose would have an opportunity to prove themselves to the Hi Clan as worthy of respect and honor.

She looked back up to the girl, who was apparently Sasuga’s daughter.

She did not have time to write a letter back, so she simply told her message to the messenger.

”Tell your father I will meet with him at the Fuji Garden Tea House tomorrow, and that I am eager to get a chance to talk with him.” Nara offered a smile to the young girl, even as the worry about Yuki was growing in the back of her mind.

Tora is grateful that her reassuring hand did not land on her stinging shoulder. Later she will seek out her cousin to check on her tattoo's healing progress. She smiles up at her, bright eyed, and delighted at the praise. Much of her time in the Academy was spent being compared to other relatives. Not by said relatives but by those who knew her father and brothers and cousins. It is nice to have her efforts acknowledged, even if they were rather brash. Trying to prove herself got her tail handed to her and yet this crimson maned woman was kind to her about it. "I do hope that my direct superiors see it the same way, but I thank you for your kind words." She smiles a bit more, as she smooths her hair out a bit, feeling a bit foolish even after the praise. Whatever the letter contained, she was clearly startled by its contents and yet agreed to the terms. "Hai!" she salutes, "I will deliver the information personally, sir!" She takes an at ease stance as she wonders what she should do next or if she is to attend this woman since she cannot find the other vice-captain. "Ma'am, I must apologize again, because I failed to properly introduce myself. I am Toraneko Hinote, Fourth Seat of Division Three. It is a pleasure to meet you. I feel as if I should explain why I am out in the human world. I cannot find the Vice-Captain I was escorting. I do hope that she is alright." As soon as she makes that statement she senses Sowako's presence. There was no mistaking that scent laced with a sweet aroma mixed with chemicals and machinery. It is a common fragrance for those who work in Division Twelve, but this was most certainly her. She brightens up and turns her head toward Sowako. "Kowako-sama, I feel that I should apologize to you as well. I have completely messed things up, haven't I?" she closes her eyes at first when Sowako reaches over toward her and then a smile reappears on her face as she feels that hand gently pet her head. A light purr escapes her throat despite herself. She flicks her tail and her ears finally stop laying back. "Awaiting orders, sirs."

She was skeptical at first but had a feeling this girl was like Toraneko. It wasn’t until the girl proceeded to speak to her that her suspicions were confirmed and a look of awe now appeared on her face. Incredible! This was an ability she did not suspect the kitten possessed, but made her all the more fascinating. Ever better now that she wasn’t dead! “My, my, Tora. Aren’t you full of surprises! I had no idea you could shapeshift. You aren’t hiding anything else from me, are you?” Sawako asked playfully. Ceasing her petting for now, she would take a look around the mostly vacant hospital, noting the destruction that took place. Hollow certainly were an incredible species; she would take care to study them more in the future. Before she could get too lost in thought, it seemed her fluffy companion was requesting further orders. “Oh! Well...I think I’ve kept you from your duties long enough. Perhaps it would be best for you to return to the Seireitei for now. And be sure to have the 4th Division give you a check up, just to make sure everything is alright upstairs” the former medic would suggest, pointing to her own head.

After that crash into the building, it was possible she could have suffered an injury she might not be aware of at the moment. Sadly, she did not have the time to examine her at the moment, still wishing to accomplish a little more here. “As for me, I think I’ll ‘wander’ around a bit more. I still want to find out what happened here and how it relates to the incident earlier in the Seireitei. I should be alright on my own, don’t you worry!” Sawako giggled, putting any concerns or chance to argue about staying to rest. Toraneko seemed the type to do so, but it was best she took care of herself. She would hate for something bad to happen to the feline… Turning away, the researcher began to walk away from the others. “I don’t plan on staying too long, I should be along within the hour or so; no need to send a hunting party after me, ok?” the woman snickered again. It wasn’t as if she had any desire to be marked a rogue shinigami, not without reason anyway. In an instant she would quickly disappear to who knew where.

Nara smiled at the girl, who was of the Hi clan. She wondered if this girl knew what her uncle had done. Would she be so polite if she did? Nara smile faltered for a mere moment, but she kept it up. Appearances were everything. ”Tell your father that I will await him there.” she said, before opening a Senkai gate, and making her way back into Soul Society

Toraneko smiles and bows politely to Nara. "I will go make preparations at once, Ellarose-sama." She smiles politely and cheerfully darts through the senkaimon. She is much too young to have been involved in the event and only knows of second hand accounts. While she knows that there has been some seriously bad blood between their clans in the past, she has learned to learn more first and evaluate later. For now, she has her orders and that takes precedence. Besides, this Nara woman seems rather nice. Why get her hackles raised over somebody she has never met and is clearly not even that woman?

Sanada Yuki
[ HP: 250 | SE: 115 | Clarity: 50 ]

Yuki was safe from the trio of Menos due to her Vice Captain's defensive abilities, and was out of range of the burst of magical energies that erupted from the small, blonde Bounto. It was an impressive display of power for such a small body.. it made the Shinigami smirk as she watched it fell the triple bunny based Menos. Before she could react and approach the red haired Ellerose, she was swamped by one of her own cousins and invited out to meet one of her uncles. Yuki had many and she honestly didn't hear which one had sent the invite. Instead he eyes turned to the pulsing mass of Hollows, slowly reforming and trying to leave un detected. For these, she rushed in and shattered each of their masks, before konso'ing them. It was the duty of a Shinigami to send them on their way, and the young Sanada was more than happy to oblige in the tradition.

Kohaku had been squatting here for a few weeks. The hospital was still wrecked from an invasion of hollows, and the shinigami who had come to repel them. They always left destruction in their wake, leaving mankind to clean up the mess.

She took a drag of her cigarette, exhaling the smoke in a large plume. She shivered a bit.

This place was cold, it’s heating system long inactive, the place long abandoned. She would not be bothered here.

She pulled a silver lighter from her pocket and flicked it, the flame rising up and jumping from the lighter to a pile of old wood she had taken from some of the furniture that had once decorated this place. In another time, the sprinkler system might have engaged, soaking her and dousing the flames, but that also had been inactive for a long time. This place was a tinderbox, just like the rest of Karakura.

She took another drag of her cigarette. It was halfway gone now.

She had been in Karakura for a short time, a few months at best, though she hadn’t really kept track. This place was a hotbed for activity, both of the Shinigami and Hollow variety. Angels and Demons doing their war on Earth, where they did not have to deal with the consequences of their actions. At least until now. The time of Man was coming. A time where Mankind could defend itself from the hollows and the shinigami. Earth was for man, and spiritual beings from other places would not be welcome, not if she could help it.

She took another drag from her cigarette, the embers reaching the filter. She flicked the still-smoking butt into the fire she had started.

Kohaku stood slowly, and left the room, leaving the fire burning. It would go out on its own, most likely. In any case, the floors were tile and the walls concrete. This place woudln’t go up un flames unless she willed it to.

She walked out of the front door of the hospital, turning to look back at the ruined building. The time was coming for her plans to come to fruition, but she would need help.

Hollows had used this place as a feeding ground for too long, coming out of their portals and eating anyone they came across. Their actions brought the shinigami, who kept their boot on the throat of man with the excuse of protecting them. No longer.

She would purge this place of Shinigami and Hollow alike.

    Earth was for man.

No gods. No masters. Only man.

Kohaku hears a voice speaking from the nearby shadows as they look at the ruined building. “This looks like it has the potential to be a lovely place doesn’t it. Just need to clean up the dust, the holes in the walls, the piles of rubble. So, are we going for an anarchy war here?” The voice has a strange form of distortion to it, similar to the sound of a voice coming over the radio. The speaker stays in the shadows the whole time, not showing himself yet. The speaker has a calm, cheerful voice, their smile clearly audible in their words.

The soft blue glow of a light source would slowly trail its way across a few partially shaded buildings in the second floor before eventually snapping out as a long white haired figure with a gas mask casually flipped up on the side of his head in order to reveal pale features, sunken eyes and a twisted grin, casually looked down towards the entrance way of the abandoned hospital. "Well. There is someone here after all. Aesthetically pleasing.. Let's go see what they're up to!" He says while drawing a six shot revolver from his hip and clearing away the shattered glass of the window that he was standing in front of, before vaulting right over and outside. His feet landing on the overhang that covered the entrance way before he slid downwards off the edge and dropped to the ground. Azazel lands mostly gracefully, rising to his feet and strolling forward in an overly casual manner while raising the revolver he held in his right hand up and casually scratching under one of the straps of the gas mask strapped across his head. "Hey! We gonna burn this place down or wait for something.. Unnatural.. To show up again first?" He called out immediately, no introductions, no who's side do you work for? Nothing. He had no problem with removing another one of those otherworldly monsters from this world. The damage they had done here alone was enough to prove such a fact. He didn't need to see more later on. Azazel stood there grinning, not lowering the revolver pressed against the side of his skull even while he points backwards behind him as a gesture to what they'd be burning down. His light green eyes remaining fixated on the determined looking female before him Yet oddly enough, he hadn't appeared to notice the other figure that was speaking from the shadows nearby. After all, he only had one revolver.

As if by some turn of fate, a voice called out to Kohaku from within the shadows. She sensed the presence before she heard it, and heard it before she saw it. This creature was not native to this place, but not a hollow either. Or Shinigami. Kohaku could not place this spiritual signature.

She whipped around to face the source of the voice, her lighter already in her hand, the flame flickering brightly in the light wind of this place.

The voice was distorted, almost electronic, as if playing through one of the old radios her dad had kept, years ago. This effect was unnerving to Kohaku, especially when she could not see the source.

There was a flash of movement, as another being appeared, this one human, though obviously spiritually aware, much like herself. This figure carried a gun, but did not point it at Kohaku, thankfully. He asked if they were going to burn this hospital down.

Kohaku was well-equipped for such a task, but this was where she lived.

”I like burning s**t as much as the next girl, but I’ll have to get my stuff out of there first.”

She paused for a moment, and spoke again.

”Who the ******** are you two?”
