Yipes gave a mighty yell as he burst through the bushes. Waves one of his necklaces like one would wave a sword, he quickly scanned the area, looking for his foe.

It wasn't until he felt a sniff at his hoof that he realized his mistake. The demonic creatures was trying to eat him! Slowly backing up, he kept his eyes on the small and furry critter and it's nervous tic before doing the most logical sane thing he could think off.

He turned tail and ran like the dickens. Screaming the entire way.

Thunderlane gave another healthy sigh of pleasure as he slipped one more berry into his mouth. Man, he loved these things. The whole reason he even bothered wandering the woods was so he could eat nature's fruit when he found it.

He popped another small peice of heaven into his mouth and gave a sensous moan. Yeah. He had problems.

It wasn't until he heard a ruckus coming from his left did he stop his almost sinous consumption of the forest goodie. Ears cocked, he listened harder cause it sounded like the noise was coming directly at him.

Yipes' hooves thundered across the ground in his escape attempt. But every time he looked back, he saw that furry monster was right on his tail. Like a beast who KNEW that he was going to have dinner tonight.

Popping out of some bushes he had a breif moment to notice another pae in his way before he made contact. A most painful, hard contact, to be sure.

Thunderlane gave a small sound of suprise before being bowled over in a tangle of arms and limbs. What the heck was this pae's problem? Worse yet, who was he running from?" The pae began muttering about creatures and snacks and god only knew what else as T.L. tried to extricate himself from what looked like a rainbow faun. Finally managing to get his arms free, he grabbed the other pae and snarled a question at him.

"WHAT THE CRAP IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

Yipes quickly took a glance around, trying to determine the beast's whereabouts. But with all the trees and other suck stuff, he knew it would difficult to locate the creature. Turning back to the other pae, who by this point was attempting to shake Yipes, he leaned close and whispered "The creature. It's after me! You have to run. It'll tear you up too!"

T.L. gave an painfully close look at the striped faun in his arms and attempted to determine if he was telling the truth or if he was just insane. Cause if you had to ask him, he was leaning more toward the second conclusion.

When the Faun suddenly let out a high pitched scream, T.L. dropped him and took a defensive position. It wasn't until he looked around, that he realized no one was there. And that this rainbow faun was definitely insane because he was screaming like a lunatic and backing away toward a tree. Leaning his head down in defeat he gave a mighty sigh.

Yup. In his little last minute snack run through forest he had managed to pick up a lunatic.

The peculiar faun remained hidden in his spot, or at least as best as one could with his features. His eyes glowed green beneath the cloth, fixated on the point she always emerged at. He had always been careful not to be seen. He knew little about her or her kind, just passing whispers on the wind from the other faun. Snake pae, some sort of battle at the temple of Venus, other such things. Yet this one didn't seem to belong to any clan like he heard the others did. She was always alone, always sneaking.

Today he had made up his mind to investigate further, approach her, question her. See if she were friend or foe. Not that he cared much about the other faun anyways, not from the looks he garnered. But he was curious her take on them and how bold she was to chose to make her den in a cave beneath the tree itself. And so he waited, ears perked slightly towards the edge...waiting.

She should be here soon....




Glowing blue eyes peered out from the darkness of her cave, watching the waters lap at the outcroppings surface below. Slithering forward, she poked her head out slowly, eyes gazing upward now at a root from the grand tree and the vegetation around it. Clear yet again. Good.

Drawing a tongue across her fangs, the Naga emerged from her cave and made her way over to the side where she could slither her way up easily, as she had done so many times. Using her hands to grab hold of smaller jutting out rocks Kali used the rest of her body and strength to push herself upward, pausing once she neared the top. She first listened for sounds of others before daring to peek over before hoisting herself upwards and darting to take cover.

Her stomach rumbled, crying for food so the naga was on the hunt again. She crept low beneath bushes and roots, eyes alert for small critters to feast on, senses testing the air. She had just picked up the trace of rabbit when some loud horrid sound hit her ears.



Ah! She had come, just as he knew she would! Illidan had just stepped from the shadows when something bright and striped ran passed him, screaming about who knew what only to collide face first into another. Startled, confused and more so angry, Illidan growled, clenching his fist tightly together. "Stupid fools!" he hissed after them thinking they had just ruined his chance at seeking out the snake girl. "No wonder you are so weak and pathetic." he jeered. Running from a rabbit, seriously?


With a hiss she recoiled backwards, hands on her head. "What the...."

Suddenly a rainbow striped faun darted past her, screaming like some kind of mad man. Stupid idiotic creature. There went her chance at catching a meal! "Bah, moron." she hissed again, watching as the stupid faun not only scared off all the prey for miles but managed to just about demolish one of his fellow companions. Not only that, but some rather large horned/winged faun was now muttering foul words their direction. At this rate she was going to be spotted and no doubt done for.

Turning around quickly, Kalipetra attempted to flee back the way she came before being spotted but it was too late. She felt a hand come to rest on her shoulder and spun around to see the large horned faun peering at her with equally glowing eyes. "Get off me! What do you want."

"You."

"In your dreams."

Thunderlane froze, hearing mumbles of a distant conversation cross the breeze. He quickly ducked behind a bush. Only to be routed out by the striped faun's insane mutterings. This time, it seemed demonic critters were going to chew his hoofs.

Giving a backward glance, he looked around for a rock or something. The dumb faun was going to get them murdered. Finally finding what he was looking for, he picked it up and lodged it thru the air.

Yipes was in hell. The creature was circling, he could just feel it. It's evil little ears picking up his every move. It's vil little teeth waiting to chew his legs off. He couldn't sit here and wait. This black faun obviously didn't know what was around in this forest. Making a move to...well, move, he was bombarded by a very large rock. It wasn't until the world tilted and began to go dark that he realized the evil bunnies had outsmarted him.

Thunderlane breathed a sigh of relief as the rock hit it's mark. Finally, a little silence. Surely nothing would eat or even touch such a brightly (and appearently) insane creature. Giving that thought a brief nod, he slowly crept foward. Moving quietly, bush by bush, he continued forward until he had located the afore mentioned voices. Then he nearly peed himself. There was a giant looking faun with.... wings! And a snake woman? First, multicolor madness than strange goons with an intent to kill??

What the hell kind of berries had he been eating exactly??

"You are brave..."

"So you have been watching me!"

"For a while..."

"Pervert!"

"Hardly. I have no interest in you of that matter."

"I suppose I should be grateful then!" Kalipetra hissed. The two had continued to banter at each other for a while. Kali tossing insults and questions. This demonic looking faun continuing to insist he held some sort of interest in her that she was supposed to believe wasn't in the ways he kept assuring he wasn't! All the while she had almost forgotten about the other two faun when she heard the definite clunk of something colliding with the skull of a being.

Turning her head just in time to catch a rock smack the rainbow striped goober upside the head, Kali could only watch and smirk as he fell to the ground, stars in his eyes. A cackle erupted from her throat as she wrung her hands together gleefully. "You live with that?!" she snickered and pointed, throwing yet another jest at the horned beast.

Illidan grunted, roling his eyes before shutting them in utter embarrassment. "Not if I can help it." he groaned, one hand clenching into a fist before 'relaxing' most rigidly. "Your welcome to eat him if you'd like." he offered, hand outstretched towards the striped werido as he glanced to the snake pae. He hadn't ever seen her make a meal of another pae'il but if she wanted too.... well he wouldn't stop her.

Instead, his focus turned towards a rustling bush near by. "You there!" he called, moving over towards the bush and thrusting his hand inside to try to grab Thunderlane by the mane to yank him out.

"I don't eat other pae!" Kali hissed again, eyeing the beast as he went over to play with a bush. "Though. For scaring away my prey..... I could have some fun with him." she laughed, slithering over and curling her lower self around Yipes as if she were about to constrict him.... yet didn't actually squeeze. Instead she loomed over him and pressed a finger hard into his forehead. She wanted to see the look on his face when he woke up. Oh how fun that would be!

"Found yourself a little toy there, did you?" Kali side glanced at Illidan to see what he was up to with that bush.

T.L snickered under his breath as he watched the two fight. So much for them being the destroyer of the world. Hell, it looked like the winged one had a crush on the snake thing. Or at least denied it. But you wouldn't really sit around watching for a slithery chick unless you wanted to smooch her, would ya?

When the topic suddenly changed to the colorful furball he had left unattended, he almost shat himself. When the hand suddenly burst through the bushes and grabbed him by his mane, he feared he did shat himself. Mumbling something unintelligible, he watched with growing horror as the scene unfolded.

Yipes came to feeling warm and cozy. Surely he had died and gone to someplace without bunnies or gophers. Sighing, he snuggled into the snake around him and slowly opened his eyes. What he saw(no doubt a by product of the concussion he had just received) was a snake-like thing flicking it's tongue at him. While surrounded by a holy white light. Yes. He had died and was meeting the Great and Wonderful Maker. A lazy smile lit his face. "So beautiful a face could be not but an Angel here to depart my soul..." he whispered.

Yup. Thunderlane just shat himself from fear. They were talking about playing with/eating them and his psychotic buddy was calling them angels. This was not gonna end well.
