User Image Delfìn was nervous. It had been quite a while since he had tried his hand at mingling. A few months at least. He had missed the idea of flirting and missed seeing the startled reactions of pae when he grabbed onto their butts. He did not miss their smacks or angry words. He had tried to make them see that Love was better than War but to no avail. So he had secluded himsef for a while among the wilderness.

But as he flew slightly away from the village, he realized it was time for him to resurface and see if he could find someone who understood what it meant to make peaces among the lillies, so to speak. Giving himself a cocky grin, he slowly foated down toward the waterfall. Only to be choked by a dragonfly who decided that his mouth was a reasonable hiding spot.

Delphìn choked and almost instantly fell the rest of the way toward the water and landed with a somewhat noisy splash.

Shaeloh gazed out over the cliffs as the foam created by the falls near his village. The silver tat'd angel spread his wings softly, shutting his eyes to the gentle breeze. He took a deep breath in and let it out slowly, his eyes fluttering open as his bangs brushed across his face. It was time to stock up again, gather the supplies he needed to name his parchments and his inks, few quills for writing and to check in on the records building, as was his duties of the village.

The dark silver angel had just turned to make his way towards the path, nodding to a fellow village pae when something flashed before his eyes. Blinking in confusion he first looked up, only to realize the blur had actually been moving down...and at a semi rapid pace. Stepping towards the edge of the cliff, Shaeloh peered down at what looked to be another pae having landed noisily in the water - thankfully- seemingly unhurt.

It wasn't a pae he recognized however, definitely not from his village. Nor from any surrounding village, at least that he knew of. Spreading his wings, Shaeloh descended from the cliff, alighting on the beach and briskly jogging towards the water where the other pae was. As he came closer he could tell the other had all manner of decor about him, feathers mostly. His hair was beaded at the ends and he seemed to be holding a.... a fish? However, what was most curious to Shae was the other's tats. His markings. He had to know more. Did they mean something or were they just for show?

"Excuse me.... are you alright?" the angel asked in a soft tone.

Delfìn came up sputtering, the water weighing down his wings much more than he remembered last. He could swim of course. But hearing a voice distracted him and as he turned to look, he sank like a stone again. Fighting his way to the surface, he broke free and attemtped to beguile the strange pae who had offered his help. "Umm.. No." he took a moment to let himself sink. Then, after a few seconds, he broke the surface again and coughed and sputtered and even threw in some arm flailing just to be convincing. He wasn't really sure what it was supposed to look like. He had never drowned before. But he was giving it a hell of a go. Why? Cause it was a heck of an excuse to get another pae to touch him. He had used simpler methods before but wasn't above attempting death if the need should arise.

"I be drowning" he managed to mumble, somewhat whining if truth be told, as he slowly sank again.

Tilting his head, Shaeloh could only wonder as he watched this strange fae. It looked like he couldn't figure out if he was trying to purposefully drown himself or do some sort of strangely intricate dance of his paeple. Whoever they might be. However, the more he assessed the situation, the more it looked like....well... he wasn't drowning quite that hard. "I'll fetch a rope, do not panic." he stated.

Glancing over his shoulder towards the rope pully system his village had for getting wares to up to the actual village itself, the angel spotted a spare bit of coiled rope on the ground. It was a spare should something happen to the others no doubt, but Shae didn't plan on taking it to far.

Flitting over he grabbed the rop and ran back to the edge, uncoiling it and tossing one end into the water towards the strange pae. "Grab hold." he instructed before grabbing onto his end of the rope firmly and pulling it taught. "Use it to pull yourself to shore." he said, waiting to lean his weight back to give the rope more support when the other grabbed hold of it.

Delfin stared stupidly at the rope as it landed in front of him. He must not have "drowned" convincingly. This was most displeasing to the small pink pae. Tucking his fish into his loincloth, he buttered up some strength and gave the rope a grab. There was always later he assumed, pulling himself deftly and much more solidly to shore than he had when drowning.

Shae watched as the other pae grabbed onto the rope and began pulling himself towards the shore much more easily. He took a few steps back to allow the fae to climb back ashore. With a fish in his loincloth. Which struck Shaeloh as being very very odd indeed but the angel wasn't quite sure if he should ask or not? He'd at least wait until the other was safely back upon dry land. "Are you alright otherwise?" he asked.

Delphin nodded. He was completely oblivious to the curious stares he was recieving. He was more worried about how his wings looked when weighed with water. Which to him, was unnatractive. He gave his wings a good shake to shed the water they had accumulated. Turning toward the black pae, he quickly gave the pae an up and down glance. 'Yes. This one is much more attractive upon seeing him up close...' he thought.

Turning toward his rescuer he quickly bowed down on one knee and made a grab for other's hand. "I thank you most deeply" he said, the words rolling off his tongue more like a innuendo than an actual thank you.

Shae stepped back a bit as the other shook his wings free of the water. It seemed this being was fine and needed no more help, at least from an angel such as himself which hopefully meant he could get back to his duties within his village. At least he had thought so until the other suddenly dropped to one knee and reached out to grab his hand. "You are.....most welcome?" Shaeloh tilted his head, withdrawing his hand at first. He wasn't sure about this guy, things just seemed off about him. Maybe his markings weren't worth it? And what was with the fish? "I... can't say I've seen you around here before.... may I ask your name?" he blinked before glancing at his own hand before slowly.... very very slowly.... extending it a mere inch towards the fae.

Delphin, in his own mind was a deity of lust. In actuality, it was a somewhat different tale. Ending in ackwardness and usually with someone smacking him. But he never let that stop him. Nope. Never.

Giving a huge toothy grin, he grabbed the other's hand. He gave it a good shake, then began examining the marks on this black wonder's body. He just 'happened' to forget to let go of the other's hand." Name is Delphin. I am... I used to be... I'm an ex-sea creature." he finally managed.

Then he continued his exuberant searching a little lower. Or attempted to, anyway. It was at this moment that his fish fell out of his loin cloth and landed with a wet, dripping splosh on the ground.

The angel instantly regretted letting the other take his hand as the fae seemed to refuse to let go. Grabbing hold of his own wrist, he attempted to steady himself and free his grip from the fae but stopped in mild confusion. Ex...sea creature? Was that even possible? "You must not have been a good swimmer then if you were drowning just now." he pointed out before staring even more so confused as the fish fell from the other's loin cloth.

Now jerking his hand away from the other, rubbing his wrist as he did so, he glanced back at the Fae. "Shaeloh." he said simply, eyeing this....thing up and down. Maybe he should have left him to 'drown'? So much to do still and nothing was getting done just standing here with this Delfin character.

Delfin literally puffed under the his future conquest's perusal. He refused to noticed that the angel was more than a little perturbed that Delfin had been holding his hand. He choose to think of it as the pae felt his lust burn his skin and was unused to such dramatic feelings.

Ignoring the other's comment on his swimming abilities because to admit deceit was to be weak, he grabbed his fish and attempted to stick it back into his loincloth. He was only halfway successful.

"So Shaeloh. What does one do in these parts?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him now that he was taking the time to survery his surroundings. And show off his ample muscles in as subtle a manner as possible. Which meant he was all but flexing as he turned to look in various directions.
