Five, the great and honorable warrior, stomped himself over to the start of the course. In his full samurai battle gear, his imposing presence radiated with confidence. "Does anybody dare to try to challenge me, Five, to a run through this obstacle course," he shouted at the top of his lungs. Surely there must be someone out there that could take him on, and perhaps have some fun at the same time?

Raiju looked at all of the activities going on around him as he rode on Nakita's back down the sandy path. It was as great as all of the academy students were claiming it to be. Tons of games, plenty of new foods to try, and the best of all... prizes! The little Hatake's eyes lit up at the sight of obstacle course, and the armored individual standing in front of it. He announced his presence loud enough for all to hear him, and was looking for a challenger for the obstacle course. Growing curious, he would gently steer Nakita in that direction, "Hey, let's go try that game! Look at the guy over there. Scary, right?" When they arrived, the boy released himself from her back and landed safely on the ground below. "Woah..." The figure was much larger now that they had approached him, but he didn't appear threatening despite his imposing presence -- not that Raiju would know. The man wanted a challenge, and a challenge he would get. Taking Nakita by the hand, he approached the man with her in tow, poking at his thigh to get his attention. "Oi! How about taking on one of us?" His voice was brimming with confidence, standing tall with his chest puffed out, and sporting his signature grin on his face.

Different smells of food reached to her nose as she supported a young shinobi on her back. There was so many games she wanted to try. Her feet made a slight shift towards the koi game but was halted as a male made his prescence known. Pale hues watched the obstacle course and already, she didn't want to do that one and sure as heck doesn't want Raiju possibly injuring himself on that thing. Yet, it seemed that Raiju had made up his mind as he wanted go towards the guy while making a comment that he's scary. As a child, he brought up a fine point and she can see why. Nakita felt the body wiggle on her back as she gently let him down on the ground. A hand went to grasp her soft one as they were headed towards the male. Before she could stop him, he already poked the male at his thighs and asked if he wanted to take one of them on. Immediately, she felt protective as she pulled Raiju gently towards her while standing in front of her, her hands went to his shoulders. Nakita hopes she would be picked so Raiju won't get hurt but...she seriously doesn't want to do the obstacle course, "A-ah, pardon us mister...I-if you don't want to challenge ei-either of us, that's quite alright."

What was this? A young man and miss, having fun at the festival, ne? Thinking so after the young man poked him in the thigh, Five clattered on, "I see, I see! The young miss seems apprehensive, so why don't you step on up, young man? Enter first, and I will follow on the parallel route, to see who can get through the quickest. Beat me, and you may have a prize in store..." His sentence fell off, then, as a wide grin appeared, replacing it. Making a gesture towards the first obstacle, the swirling, rotating drums' lineup ramp, Five walked quickly to his route's entrance.

The armored man spoke after Nakita, who made it clear she wasn't comfortable with the obstacle course. He allowed Raiju to enter the obstacle course first, with a chance of obtaining a prize if he won. Challenge accepted! The boy's eyes glimmered at the sound of winning a prize, the gears in his head turning with curiosity as to what the prize will be. "You're on! Wish me luck, Kita!" Turning to shoot a cheerful smile Nakita's way, he dashed off to the starting line, and entered the first section of the course labeled, 'Swirly Things of Death'. Without hesitation or an ounce of fear, Raiju leaped onto the first moving cylinder. He completely bypassed the lady that was going to put on his protective gear for the course! Hopefully he wouldn't fall, but things appeared to be working in the boy's favor as he made his way across each cylinder and out the other end of the course. Not bothering to look behind him, he was about ready to dash off into the next course, before the male standing there stopped him and forced him to put on his protective vest made of Velcro. "Slow your roll, kid. You're not making it past this course without one of these." The man said.

Hitting a good stride, Five felt rather confident that he would be alright in the swirly things of doom. Already wearing armor, he had no need to put on even more armor, so his first attendant let him pass. Saddling up to the first roller, Five jumped over it completely, landing on the second roller in a dead run. As it spun around and around, keeping pace with the tall, clattering man, he made certain that he could land safely on the next one. Jumping to the third roller, he tried backpeddling as fast he could while windmilling his arms. Almost falling off, he flipped up to the next platform.

Raiju turned around as he heard another set of footsteps land on the platform aside from his own. It was the armored man. This guy was good. Grinning, Raiju took a few steps back, looking straight ahead at the spider web that stood a few yards from the platform. He began running in place, his shaggy hair bouncing around as he prepared himself for the leap off the platform. "Hooooooo!" He shouted, sprinting ahead and jumping towards the spider-web. "I believe I can fly~!" Arms and legs wide, he braced himself for impact, landing square in the center of the spider-web with a loud 'SPLAT'. For a few moments, he did not move, making sure that he was attached to the web before climbing up and over, onto the next platform of the final course.

So, the young man had no troubles with the rollers, and now he's gaining the lead by successfully navigating the sticky web on the first try?! Baffled, Five applied chakra to his feet. Taking a few steps back--it was clear that no kind of Velcro suit was going to fit over his armor--the well honed man rushed forwards and then jumped! Feet first, flying through the air, Five landed with a smack sound, and stood straight out. The thought of whether the wall walking ability could be used on this kind of webbing had been successfully put to the test. "Ha, shinobi do it like shinobi do," he boasted, walking calmly up the wall to the next platform, grinning all the way. It was down to the last obstacle, and the two of them were nearly neck and neck. Could Raiju go 3 for 3? Would the armor clad man fail at the last instant? Stay tuned for after the break!

Raiju looked back as he landed on the second platform with a huge grin on his face. He was hoping to see the armored man have some difficulty getting past this course. With all of that armor, there would be no way the Velcro would be strong enough to keep him stuck to the web! Yet, it appeared this man was full of surprises, landing onto the web with his feet, and walking up to the platform like it was nothing. That huge grin was quickly replaced with a jaw-drop. Raiju was familiar with the Shinobi technique he used, it was one of the techniques he had to practice in the academy, and he still hadn't completely mastered it yet! What a show-off... "...Okay, Mr. 'Fancy Pants'... I'll show you!" He said, giggling mischievously. Oh boy, did he have something in store for this guy... but at the risk of giving Nakita a heart-attack. It was worth it!
Taking a couple steps back, he got down onto his hands into the runner's stance. He was confident he'd make it across, so confident in fact, he was going to add his own little flare. Two could play the Mr. 'Fancy Pants' game! Sprinting forward, he bounded onto his hands as he reached the edge and propelled himself back onto his feet, landing on top of the first ball, sending him airborne. Raiju twirled in the air, bouncing off of the second ball, and landing onto the third ball with a belly flop. Boing! His body sailed into the air, turning about almost in slow-motion upon descending towards the final ball. "Wee~!" He cheered, bouncing off the last ball rapidly somersaulting down onto the platform, and sticking the landing. "Ta-da!" He rose his hands, then bowed. He was the first to make it across, so that meant he was the winner! Raiju jumped up and down cheering with glee. "Nakita, look! I won! I won!"

It was all down to the final obstacle. Two opponents, beautifully matched, one right after the other. Five smirked as the young shinobi began to run for the bouncy platforms. I've got this in the bag, he thought. Forming some handsigns, the armored man made for a shunshin, to go straight in a line, but as he approached the first platform, it wiggled under his foot. Failing spectacularly, his right foot tripped, causing him to splat helmet first into the second bouncy ball, cartwheel through the air not of his own will, and then on to the front side of the third one, which pinged him to the water below. Splash, went the water, and when Five came head up, he could tell that the youngin' had beat him across to the finish line. Raising his hands into the air, still dripping, he yelled out, "I'll get'chu next time, bahaha!" At least it was all still fun and games, ne? Sopping up out of the water pit, he trudged over the dry ground to where Raiju was at, the water slowly draining out from the holes, a funny smile on his face.

When the mysterious male had challenged young Raiju to the course, her body had became tense. As if someone just tried to offend or harm someone she loves and cares for. He even offered a prize at the end which is any little kid's dream. The ruffled white haired boy turned and asked her to wish him luck and before she could even stop him, off he went. Her chest quickly was inhaled as she held her breath when he ran right by the lady to put on some protective gear on him. "R-Rai!" She called out but he was already out of her earshot. Since when did he became so fast!? There was nothing she could do but to anxiously watch. Wait. Why was she anxious? This was about fun! Surely, he can't get hurt from this. Right? Right.
When he passed through the 'Swirly Things of Death', she was so grateful when the man had to stop Raiju forcefully to put on the protective vest made of Velcro. A bit of tension was removed from her shoulders. The man who had accepted his challenge wasn't too far behind. He was doing good too. Her heart still beat against her chest, no it wasn't beat, it was pounding. As the game continued on, Nakita became less worried and scared as she stated cheering Raiju on. With a close fist, she hollered in encouragement as he reached to the last one. With a laugh and smile, Nakita quickly picked Raiju up and spun him around for a moment before placing him down. "Good job! You impressed me! Wow!" She wanted him to keep up that kind of work. To be able to achieve what he wants to achieve no matter what anyone said. Before she could say anything else, a loud splash had reached to her ears. Curious, pale violet hues glanced over as the male climbed out, soaking wet. Nakita heard his comment as she giggled gently with a warm smile. "Um. At least here, you can get dry rather fast." Nakita said rather gently with a sheepish grin.

Being swooped into Nakita's embrace and spun around, Raiju giggled with joy. He felt even prouder for getting through the obstacle course successfully now that he knew Nakita was impressed. Really!? I can't wait to tell Mama about it, too!" Suddenly there was a splash, and his attention turned to the final course. No way! The armored man actually fell!? Raiju looked in disbelief, he could have sworn the man was right on his tail as he had always been. A grin arose on the boy's face as the man yelled, raising his arms up and crossing them behind his head. "Hehe! We will see about that, mister!" He yelled back, gently swaying on the balls of his feet. Then it suddenly hit him... wasn't there a prize promised to the winner? Sure, the man never said he'd 'promise' to give him one, but he still mentioned it. And that was all Raiju needed to hear. "Hey, mister... Do I still get a prize? I did win..." He trailed off, looking up at the man with his big ol' blue eyes, shooting him the sweetest look he could possibly muster. With a big smile, his pearly whites gleamed in the sun; the boy swaying with curiosity and anticipation.

Handing it over to the young man, she drifted away back to the course, her position such that it needed to be reset. "Mhm. The dry climate is the best in these regards," Five replied to Nakita. In fact, his armor was already beginning to be coated in swirly trails of lifting evaporation. While there's time left, I'd like to try more of these games. Have you two been to the others yet?

When Rai had mentioned he couldn't wait to tell Mama about it, she knew that he meant Akira. A soft worried expression appeared only for a second as she can only hope that Akira would understand and be glad that Raiju was okay. He was a ball of energy after all. The man had mentioned that he wanted a re-challenge someday as Nakita laughed gently and gave them both a warm soft nod. She was actually happy and having a good time, and more importantly, so was Raiju. Raiju had piped up and mentioned to where his prize was, all Nakita can do was but to watch. A female appeared and had given Rajiu a prize, "Whoo! See you did great Raiju." Her head gently turned as the man had asked about the other games, "Actually," She glanced towards him with a bright smile, "We have not just yet, would you like to join us?"
