Sacha was (mostly) willing to give most things a chance. Seeing that creative class, with an obvious cooking component added, was available, he at least gave it a second chance. Halloween was coming up after all, and it was the least he could do to see what the teacher wanted.
It probably should have been concerning that it wasn't an actual professor for this course, but honestly? They were weird enough. A ToTer probably wasn't any worse, and if nothing else he could walk out of the class and go binge on a tub of cookie dough in one of his freezers. Not that he'd asked his mom for a tub of cookie dough. That would be ridiculous. It just happened to be the last tub of the case that he'd hinted at.
The realization meant he loitered in the hallway on his phone, tapping out a message that wouldn't sound like complete whining but made it very clear that his reserves were low. Too low. She'd understand.
Eyemessage sent it was time to stop avoiding his fate, so he sauntered into the room, looking around critically to see what people were working on.
Everything was orange.
That wasn't exactly unusual, perhaps a bit over the top compared to the norm even, but it was the smell that bombarded him. The pumpkin spice smell was concentrated in the room, and while he liked the flavor as much as anyone, it was almost palatable. Absentmindedly he reached into his apron and pulled out a homemade granola bar to munch on while he made his way up to Static to receive his assignment.

What she handed him was a toy. Not just any toy, but a jigsaw puzzle. That in and of itself was a bit peculiar given the theme, but the toy itself was, quite frankly, ridiculous. He stared at it in his hand, the box barely larger than his palm. 300 pieces! Said the box. The box had to be a liar, but when he opened it to peer inside the first sight to greet him was that of a pair of tweezers.
Tweezers.
For a puzzle.
He moved over to a table and sat down before he pulled out the sealed little plastic pouch, holding it up to get a proper look at it. Inside were the pieces, smaller than his thumbnail, and really, who had time for this s**t. He could bake bread in less time than he could do this. Still, an assignment was an assignment, and he would at least try it.
As soon as he finished the granola bar. He shoved the rest into his mouth, chewing on it absentmindedly as he regarded his pumpkin spice.

((Day 2))
Another day of classes down, another stack of homework to ignore while he made dinner (and second dinner, and an after dinner snack, and a before bed snack, and a midnight snack, and something to munch on if he woke up accidentally, as well as something to nibble on while he waited for his breakfast to cook). Still, it'd been almost forty minutes since the last time he ate, and his stomach rumbled in aggravation. Nothing unusual really, and before he knew it he'd turned toward a classroom where a pleasant smell was coming from.
In his near-starved state it was all he could do to put one foot in front of the other. Too late did he realize it was Static's class. Before he knew it he had a make-up kit in his hands and was being sent to pumpkin spice-ify it.
What the actual Jack.
"She's insane," he muttered under his breath, dropping the items onto a table to stare at them. That was a powder, that was a tube, but with a stick in it. That was some sort of liquid...something. That shade of putrid green looked like the only thing it could hope to accompany was baby poop and it would be a favor to all of Halloween if he jsut went ahead and dumped it in the trash.
Still, he was already here, so it was probably better to just make the best of everything and see what he could do.
Before anything else though he had to have a snack, so he searched his pockets until he came up with a handful of lollipops and a baggie of homemade eyemasher chips. It would have to do for now.

The chips he tried to make last, he really did. They crunched easily under his teeth, perfectly salted and seasoned. He wasn't exactly surprised, he'd made them himself of course, a large batch that morning, most of them already devoured and a few left in his room because he didn't have enough room to carry them all. Perhaps it was time to start carrying a backpack. Or, better yet, hire someone to carry a backpack for him.
When the chips were gone he opened up a lollipop, sticking it into his mouth before he gave even an iota of attention to the makeup. Pumpkin spice. For makeup. Putrid green makeup. That seemed to be the only thing the items had in common, the same awful color that needed to stop existing. If he ever received a dish this color he'd send it back to the chef, or more than likely he'd call out the chef and destroy him.
All he had between him and turning in this monstrosity was a gigantic container of pumpkin spice. Dumping it all in at once hadn't worked so great last time, so today...he'd be smart about it.
While Static wasn't looking he opened up the powdery makeup and upended it into a trashcan. Then he refilled the container with straight pumpkin spice, a much prettier color that smelled better on top of things. Wasn't eating face a good thing?
That left the tube and the liquid. He couldn't do a straight replacement with either, but he could get rid of as much as possible. About half of the tube went in the trash, and by the time he added in the pumpkin spice the color was more of an ugly orange (which was still better than putrid green) and if there were a few clumps...well, it was texture. Texture wasn't a bad thing. Not necessarily.
The liquid was mostly poured out so he could add in a bit of water before mixing in the pumpkin spice. It was mostly orange with quite a few dark specks, and it had character. Infinitely better than what he'd been handed, at least in appearance and smell. As for whether or not it still functioned as makeup, well, no one really cared. Hopefully.
