To the first ever Love's Orchard Christmas Event. We've been plotting something very special for you all, so we hope you enjoy it! Now then, below will be posted the twelve days of Christmas, the twelfth day landing on Christmas eve - where we will hold a dance! But for now.. We encourage you to participate in every day of the event. We will hold one different event per day; and each day will be shortened to one week in real life. That way we aren't having a full 24 weeks of Christmas. Not to mention, we'll end right around the Christmas season! So we hope you have fun, and enjoy the holiday!

What's there to know? It's a snowball fight! The person with the most points will receive a prize at the very end. For every time you hit someone with a snow ball - it can be anybody you're around at the time - you must quote one of the staff so they can count your points! Quote them or link them to the post and we'll keep track of your points at the bottom of the event area in the spoiler. Every snowball is counted as one point. If you can complete a group of six or more competing in a complete snowball fight, each character attending will receive 3 points, plus the ones he/she makes in hits. So good luck! And have fun.

Before you go hitting people like absolute crazy, you cannot hit the same person over and over and over again; that's kiiiind of cheating. So instead, you can hit the same person once every 12 hours. Or in other words, twice in a real life day. For example, if Amy has her character hit Joe's character at 2:00pm, she cannot hit Joe's character again until 2:00am. See what I mean? But don't worry! You'll just have to get in those super sneaky attacks from outside unless you bring a snowball in with you.
Now this one will be a bit different... The person with the most points will receive a prize at the very end. For every time you complete an amazing trick, you get a point! Based on your description, accuracy, and length of the post, you will receive different amounts of points. You cannot, however, do the same thing over and over and over again. And for every day you are ON the rink, your character will receive points! If you can complete a group of five or more competing in a complete ice skating competition, each character attending will receive 5 points, plus the ones he/she makes in hits. So good luck! Before you go skating like a mad man, you must be at Starlight Sk8 - located in Downtown Soleil. If you aren't there, then your points don't count! Remember, you can only do one trick every other post or so; not the same one over and over again. You are also not able to copy and paste a post over and over again. It's sort of like the contests in Pokemon. No one wants to see you do the same move over and over again! We need some variety!
Because who doesn't want to build a lovely, lovely snowman. This round will be divided up how you guys choose, so don't be shy! You're more than welcome to have a between a team of one to four; meaning up to four people can be on a team. So! For day three of the event, everyone will come to Soleil Park, and here, we will build snowmen! Each person will get points for creativity on the picture of the snowman they choose to build. They are more than welcome to be scary, goofy, fun, sad, etc! So get on building, my little Soleilians. These snowmen aren't going to build themselves!

Before you go building skyscrapers, remember you must be located in Soleil Park for this event. If you aren't there, then your points don't count! Remember, the judges (the crew and myself) are looking for creativity in the pickings of your snowmen! Include the height in comparison if you have to... But overall? There's really no catch. Just have fun on this amazingly white snow day!

There's a long silence in the park where Snowmen have been abandoned from the contest. A familiar dark presence wraps itself around these snowy beings, testifying their creator's faults in leaving them to melt in the hard beach side sun. How rude, he claimed, to place a carrot upon your nose and scamper off as soon as the money was given. How they didn't even look back to see what they had made and give it praise. After remorse and guilt, they rose their top hatted heads with anger, tearing down any and all coal buttons placed on their mouths as happy-go-lucky treats. With effort, and some demon magic, their lips began to form and mouths began to pry open, revealing a terrifying, if not 'gooey' look to their representation. All joy and pride had gone - leaving an army that moaned, groaned, and roared in hopes of horrifying anyone that stepped in their way. A pair of horns and wings flew ahead, a ghastly and evil giggle exhaling into the night.

Beware, everyone! The snowmen are out for revenge for forgetting about them the day before. Fight them off, one by one, as well as you can. Though there isn't much of a catch - we'll tell you how to win this one. For every post that's fighting a snowman; and we mean fighting, we'll give your character a point! The person with the most points will win the billion for this contest. So good luck to you, and good luck to your characters.

Hooray! If you're reading this, that means your character didn't die from the last event! This also means you get to have a fabulous day at the Beach-A-Palooza Christmas Festival over on Mykronos Island. Just hop on the ferry wearing your ugliest Holiday sweater and show up at the festival. You'll have a blast! There's hot chocolate, candy canes, gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies to decorate, Ferris wheels... All kinds of fun rides and seasonal snacks. Everything's been nice and decked out with Christmas lights, fake giant lollipops, our very own Santa strutting around the area - all kinds of things. So get your booties over to the island off the coast! We all know that special friend needs a cute night out every once in a while.

No catch here! We just want you to have a relaxed festival day after being torn apart by treacherous snowmen and demons. We're so nice - we know. And if you miss the festival today? Don't worry! It'll be open this way for the rest of the holiday season. But just for today we're wanting you to wear those "special sweaters", if you catch our drift.
Once upon a time, far before ours, there once lived a witch in the city of Soleil. A very... Very evil witch. Of course, she wasn't always evil. It wasn't until the spirit of Christmas and the lack of gratefulness for her spells got to her. Year after year she'd grant the children of Soleil City "gifts" - as she liked to call them. Having to do everything they were told, having new powers neither them nor their parents wanted, most of them incredibly dangerous to their families. And so, as punishment, she was told to take the spells back - to sort of "save" them. Being the way she was, she didn't see this as 'fair'. Why should she have to take the gifts back? They were presents! Special presents! "I cast to each and every head... A giant man of Gingerbread! To destroy the houses of Soleil, for the children's gratitude has failed. Rise, my monster, rise for me! I'll see to it Christmas will no longer have glee..." A long, drawn out moan escaped from the brewing pot, the liquids turning from purple to green and sparks began to fly. The Gingerbread man she had spoken of grew and grew and grew six stories tall! It crushed the houses of the innocent, destroyed buildings that would never be fixed... But don't worry! It's just a story! So come on down to Pandora's Toy Box to see the play!

As long as you're obtaining the story, there is no catch! Don't worry, it's not like the Gingerbread man is going to come to life. It's just a story! Witches... They're real, but we all know they get crushed by houses in the end. Ha!

Gack! Santa's reindeer are missing! They've scattered over Soleil and were last seen sprinting through Soleil Park and through the Cherry Blossom trees! We have to catch them quick or Santa won't be able to deliver all of his presents for Christmas! So here's what we're going to do. Everyone that wants to participate can head on down to Soleil Park in order to get a sighting. I'm sure with multiple eyes, we can snatch them all up. So! When you get to Soleil Park, you'll need to roll a 12 sided dice and get all numbers 1 through 12. You can only roll the dice every 30 minutes in real time - that way no one is rolling constantly over and over and over again. If you don't feel like rolling with your post, then you're more than welcome to use the OOC in order to do that, then transfer what number you got over to your post. The person with the closest number to 12 - or has all 12 first wins. Look below to see how you work in teams!

So you can do this two ways: One! You can roll by yourself and get the 12 reindeer. OR you can team up with someone(s) and you all can collectively roll to get all 12 reindeer. HOWEVER, if you choose the second route, you will all get one prize (if you happen to score first, second, or third) and have to split it up in however many ways you have people. So you can make it easier on yourself and get half the money, or you can do it the hard way and get the entire prize. If you do team up, please make it obvious in your posts! That way the crew can decipher who exactly is doing what. And good luck! You have to roll all of the numbers 1 through 12 and you can only roll once every 30 minutes. We don't need people spamming the forums.
Okay, so we may have lied about the story. It was true... All of it. Well, not all of it. The witch didn't exactly die in the end - not actually. And now? The same Gingerbread is out to kill us. He's already destroyed a few houses here and there and it doesn't look like he's going to stop any time soon. So we need YOUR help! Everyone has heard the story of the Grinch. He's a mean old... Thing, that lives at the top of the mountain, sulking over his hatred for Christmas. So it's up to you guys to help cheer him up and get him back into the Christmas spirit. Now this can be done in plenty of ways - so we want you to be creative with this. After all, it is the last event before our finale! You can sing carols, you can build snowmen, you can have snowball fights, bake treats, give gifts - whatever you can do. We know you can do it. We know you can! Just be careful. I know there are some Grinches out there that would just love to ruin the spirit you've built up!
