What will I find in this thread?The main family tree, infamously known as the "Doom Tree" ties many foxes together. This thread provides the names of all the members of the Doom Tree for ease of word search purposes and a link to the tree itself so you can trace how exactly certain foxes might be related. While quite extensive, there are other family trees aside from the Doom Tree. Most are fairly small and consist only of a couple generations. In this thread you will find links to family trees that span four generations or more. You will also find links to personal trees (made on request) that trace the descendants of particular foxes. I don't see my fox on the tree. Did you miss them?Possibly. I try to check the drop-off mule periodically to make sure I haven't missed any new children, but some slip through the cracks. There are also some foxes who are first generation but are considered blood related by the owner, sharing at least one NPC parent. Usually I can trace these ties through journal information, but sometimes journals are incomplete or missing entirely. It's also entirely possible you haven't gotten them certed yet. Until a fox is officially certed, they will be put in the "Unknown" section. Fox A adopted Fox B. Why isn't that shown?There are a few adoptive relationships on the tree, but they are very old and predate the making of tree itself. As of 2011 no adoptive relationships have been added to the tree. Who a fox considers to be family is irrelevant unless they are both first generation; if they were born to a certain fox, that is who will be listed as their parent. My fox has lots of descendants. Why don't they have a tree here?I only make actual trees for families that are at least four generations large. No matter how many grandkids your fox has, they will have to reach great-grandparent status to have a tree made. If you would like a personal tree, you can send me a PM and I will make one for you and post the link here. I only make personal trees for families that are at least three generations large.
