[Open Class] Halloween Costume (Sheelah)

Name of Class: Your Very Own Halloween Costume!
Professor name: Professor Selene Apophis

General Information: This class is open to Amityville students as well as Horsemen!

Professor Selene has collected far too much memorabilia from her trips to the human world, especially during Halloween. She wants to put some of her collection to good use, by helping out anyone who wants to make an appropriate costume for the all too important Trick or Treating that occurs every Halloween in the human world! You get to keep what you put together here - you may even get to use her costume in her Halloween Helpers Field Trip or one of the Horseman's Trick-or-Treating (Treat only) mission, should you want to!

Mechanics:

Part One: Picking outfit pieces

There's boxes lined up all in a row, all of which are filled with colorful pieces of costumes from days gone by. You're allowed to pick out four pieces to make a costume, so make it count!

Roll 4d12. If you don't like the pieces you rolled in this option, you are allowed to try again one time! Matching pieces will give you more points!

As you can see, 1/2/3 is a match, 4/5/6 is a match, as is 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12. If you manage to match two pieces of an outfit, you get +2 to your final total. If you manage 3 pieces, you get +4 to your final total! If NONE of your pieces match, you get +1 added to your total for originality. Remember you are allowed to roll again if you don't like your first find, but you must roleplay both posts out (minimum 100 words each), and you can choose whichever of the two you like best!

Part Two:

Putting together your costume:

It's time to show Selene what you've chosen! Put the costume on and try to explain to her what you are, even if your pieces mismatch. Are you a pirate fairy? A Skeletal Pumpkin? That's horrifying! You must tell her a story (minimum 200 words) about the character you've created. You can even give it a name, a backstory, and a goal in life! Make it interesting, Selene loves to be enchanted with a good story!

Roll 1d6 with your explanation post. Add the total of this dice, to the points you made in part one. Match your total to the fields below!

Totals:
1-2: Selene is so disappointed in your lack of attention to detail. She doesn't even know if she should let you keep the costume you made.. you clearly don't care about it! (Fail)
3-4: Is.. is your professor about to cry? She looks like she's about to cry.. maybe you should have taken your work more seriously.. (Fail)
5-6: Selene says nothing, but puts a green star sticker on your forehead. For Effort! (Pass)
7-8: Well done! Selene is so enchanted by your story, that she's lost track of what she was doing. Oh, that's right! Giving you an A! (Pass)
9-10: Is.. is your professor about to cry? She looks like she's about to cry.. did you do something wrong? Was your costume not good enough? No, she's just.. so.. proud.. *SNIFF* (Pass)

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN…

You complete the class, whether you pass or fail. +2 RP points for completing this class with at least 600 words!

Sheelah was walking around in the academy when she noticed quite a few new classes around for her to be in and learn something. Some of those classes sounded a bit boring and but others sounded like they could be fun. The class she had to be in sounded really interesting to her. She wasn't sure why she would put on a costume but it sounded like something nice to try. Maybe she could find something that actually looked good. There seemed to be tons of stuff to try on. She saw quite a few boxes with clothing and other things in them in the class-room. She was excited to start. She wanted to try this alone this time.

She starts to search some of the boxes for something she could use and laughed at all the clothes and things she found. It was really funny to see how much things the teacher had collected. She did like some of the items she found. She found a skull mask she could use as it did make her look scarier and that was good, right? She wasn't sure what to think of the pumpkin bodysuit as that would just make her look silly and did she want that? Probably not. She also found a pirate's tunic and a pumpkin stump hat. The tunic looked nice but she wasn't sure of the hat. Sheelah decided to leave these things al behind and went to search some other boxes at the other end of the room. There must be something she could use in them.

She was really happy when she opened the first box she saw on the other end of the room as it had some really nice matching items in them. This seemed to be a lucky box for Sheelah. She found a witch Hat and Robe and a broom too. She could totally pretent to be a witch now and not a WereCheetah. Or maybe she could play a Cheetah Witch or something. These things she found made thinking something up easier but she still needed to find a few more things. She loved what she had but she needed one more thing to make it perfect. She started to search another box and found blue wings. They didn't match the costume she had at all but she loved them so much she decided to use them with her costume. She put all the things on she found and started to think of something good to tell the teacher. It had to be a good story.

Sheelah was in a really good mood now with her perfect costume finds. She was determined to come up and tell a good story to go with the costume she was now wearing. She waited for her turn to speak and came forward in her costume to tell this story:

"Hi, my name is Meana and I'm a special type of Witch that comes to you only when you celebrate Halloween in the human world." Sheelah didn't really liked how she started now as it seemed a bit boring so she had to try harder for the next part.
"It's my goal to scare EVERYONE i see when they are celebrating or trick or treating because I want FEAR! I want to be the best of the best only that day. Off course I'm around more than that but people believe I only exsist for that day and are sometimes even more scared to learn I can be around other times too. But that's not my goal it's my goal to really scare at Halloween." She added while looking serious. "Because that's important in my family. I'm a proud Witch and I can fly even without any sort of help as I have wings of my own. My family ones long ago earned that and now everyone has them in my family." She acted all proud now.
"Every family member has them but mine are the most beautiful and strongest of them all. As I can fly better than all of them. So when it's not trick or treat time I fly around alot. Being the best one around is my goal and this is my story"

Sheelah really hoped the teacher loved her story and she did! It was a succes! It was funny to see the teacher lose track of things but it was wonderful to get good grades! She was very happy and was even happier to learn she was able to keep the costume and from now on she could continue to use it. Happily Sheelah left the class-room wondering what she was going to do next.
