Hi. So this year for holiday festivities I am making pumpkin pie porridge. I am already skilled at porridge making(it's not very complex lol )
I am going to try to make onigiri for the first time this month. I'm pretty excited to try it out.
In my town, every year around this time a local park gives a free turkey away. You just need to receive EBT benefits to be eligible.
I decided to not get a turkey. There's a LOT of prepping, space needed(I rent an efficiency-- my kitchen is TINY) and there's a learning curve on my end since I've never made a turkey before.
The other factor is the fact that I'll be the only one eating it. I do plan meals and enjoy leftovers. Budgeting yay!
I'm quite excited to create onigiri.
