Affected objects gain the ability to perceive their surroundings and a level of basic intelligence used for understanding the information they take in. Affected objects share a mental link with their creator and will transfer any gained intelligence back to them if a condition is met (as specified by another seal, such as Tensha Fuuin).

Technique Name: Gunsei [ All Animate Creation ]

Description: Through a strange hand seal that is unique to every user, a seal is placed on an object affected by both Youton: Museibutsu Boufu [ Yang Release: Preservation of Inanimate Creation ] and Inton: Seibutsu Kouzennoki [ Yin Release: Vigor of Animate Creation ]. This seal permanently joins those two seals, allowing the intelligence created by the latter to manipulate the body created by the former, turning it into a "golem" of sorts. This golem draws on its creator's chakra to perform tasks in combat, but can only use Formless techniques their creator knows, can only draw on an amount of chakra up to the rank of Inton: Seibutsu Kouzennoki [ Yin Release: Vigor of Animate Creation ] before shutting down, and break apart if they use a technique equal to or greater than the rank of Youton: Museibutsu Boufu [ Yang Release: Preservation of Inanimate Creation ]. Stamina drains for their actions drain the user's chakra of an equivalent amount. Outside of combat, golems shut down if they both are not in the same thread as their creator and do not have any ongoing orders, requiring reapplication of Inton: Seibutsu Kouzennoki [ Yin Release: Vigor of Animate Creation ] at its original rank to activate them again. Golems cannot perform jobs or missions unsupervised. If this seal is ended, both of the subordinate seals also end. Must be used at the higher of the ranks of its two subordinate seals to succeed. Lasts for eight posts, at which point the user may pay this technique's cost as upkeep or the golem goes dormant.

Technique Name: Inryoku no Nijuurasen [ Gravity's Double Helix ]

Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Maruton
Description: By singing, the user augments the effects of gravity in the area to vary it between +2g and -2g, leaving only the user unaffected. Requires upkeep every five posts or whenever the user changes the gravity from positive to negative or vice-versa. Effect lasts for as long as this technique is sustained and affects an entire thread. Details for some of the different effects:
  • Under the effects of high gravity, projectile techniques tend downward, causing them to land half the distance to their target. At no gravity, they fly in a straight line unless an outside force intervenes.
  • High gravity forces people and objects to the ground, causing them to fall. Damage is suffered by the affected parties after falling for more than four meters. Falling can be avoided by using the Tree Walking Technique at this technique's rank, so long as an appropriate surface can be reached.
    People suffer a moderate reduction in speed unless 20 Chakra or Stamina is paid every post. Low gravity (Between 0g and 1g) causes a moderate increase in speed instead and negates any damage from falling.
  • Negative gravity causes the same effects as positive gravity, but pointed upward instead of down. This means things and people fall upward in this scenario.


Technique Name: Gouhou no Ouganjutsu [ Retribution's Alchemy ]

Description: By singing, the user changes the elemental alignment of all nearby elemental techniques to a chosen target element. This does not stop their effects, but it can cause people to suffer damage from using an element with side-effects for untrained users, such as Katon or Raiton. If an advanced element (Hyouton, Mokuton, etc.) does not contain the target element, one of its constituent elements is changed such that it becomes a different advanced element, if applicable; otherwise, it remains unchanged. (i.e. If changing techniques to Raiton and someone uses Hyouton, that technique could become Ranton.) Works on only one technique in a given Korabo (chosen by this technique's user), but if it changes that technique to an element that opposes the other one, the Korabo technique fizzles out and fails. Effect lasts for as long as this technique is sustained and affects an entire thread. Requires upkeep every five posts or whenever the user changes the element specified.

Technique Name: Tenrai [ Divinity ]

Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Maruton
Description: Imbues the user's specified limb with Chakra, allowing it to write seals without the need for paper or ink for five posts for no additional activations. Seals with specified dimensions have those dimensions doubled. Seals that normally operate only in two dimensions (like barriers) become a three-dimensional shape specified by the user. Breaking one side of a barrier rendered three-dimensional by this method does not break any other sides. Using a seal that requires a physical component (like a container) still requires that physical component be present.

Description: The user forces themselves into a meditative state, unclogging the Chakra network and relaxing the muscles. This allows the user to recover Chakra and Stamina at twice the normal rate, recovers as if relaxing, and halts the progression of Tenketsu Rot and Burnout. In addition, the user can use this state to perform training sessions that they have not previously completed. These training sessions must be claimed in the same way as normal and take one post per rank of the training mission. All training missions that have outcomes based on success or failure (i.e. fighting) are counted as successes. The user and any entities both created and may not perform, but can maintain, other techniques while this one is active. Requires upkeep every two posts after its initial activation and lasts until broken.

Description: A set of gauntlets designed to inflict pain, born in the aftermath of a great tragedy. It has two forms: extended and retracted, referring to the state of its antler-like protrusions.
Retracted: A set of studded white metal gauntlets. Every outward facing edge is sharpened greatly to make it function as a blade, including the studs themselves. A band of additional armor plating is present around the knuckles. The fingers of the gauntlet end in short, clawlike blades. The glove underneath the armor is made of a specially woven metallic fabric designed to protect the user and conduct Chakra to the rest of the gauntlet, and takes on the color of the wearer's Chakra (defaulting to black if the color is not normally visible, and white if there is no wearer).
Extended: The main body of the gauntlet is covered with white metal protrusions that curve around it and branch outward like antlers. These antlers protrude from the glove both forward and backward, with the backward protrusions weaving together to form an armored sleeve around the wearer's forearms. The forward protrusions are sharpened like blades and end in fine points, making them potent weapons in the right hands. The branching of the forward antlers is different for each gauntlet, allowing the wearer to perform hand seals as normal while they are extended.
Ability Summary:
• The wearer can pay 5 Chakra to extend or retract the antlers on both gauntlets. Doing so consumes no activations, but can only be performed twice per post (one extension and one retraction). While in extended form, wounds inflicted will bleed until healed. Those of an appropriate medical job can stop the bleeding, but overall recovery will be slow, taking one week per rank of the damage. Creatures that lack blood but contain another vital fluid lose that in place of blood. As a side-effect of this, taking a hit of at least B-Rank results in becoming grappled, as the cestus "antlers" become lodged in the victim's body.
• Blocking techniques used while this gauntlet is in extended form also count as disarming attempts. Unless the foe uses an offensive activation to pay stamina at the rank of the blocking technique, this disarm succeeds.

• Hoatzin: A slender bird with a brownish plumage spotted with white above and reddish-yellow to rust below. It has claws on its first and second wing digits. Its long wings and tail feathers give it incredible abilities in the air, including enhanced speed and maneuverability. History

Bast remembers little from her days before the foundation of the Sand other than the time she spent with her family. She had a father, sister, uncle, and cousin, and remembered running through the family household and playing in the massive gardens. There were animals everywhere, but even though she spent so much time outside, she doesn't remember seeing the blue sky until a while after she left her home with her uncle and cousin--Mamoru and Amaya, respectively--to settle the Wind Country and organize the growing Village. Her father, a traveling man, left at roughly the same time, leaving her sister to take care of the household.

Several years before the revival of the Shinobi culture and lifestyle, Bast was already at work making a name for herself in the military world of the Hidden Sand Village. Starting out as the Sand formed, she began studying in iron-working and forging as well as physical and mental exercises, and had shown very little skill for the physical arts until the foundations for the modern martial arts were created. During these years, her physical abilities blossomed and she was able to take on many forms of Martial Arts to practice in her free time. Additionally, she practiced at the forge and other manual trades, taking on construction and resource gathering jobs for the Village Leader, her uncle Mamoru. As the Village aged, however, she became fascinated with the flows of energy and their interactions with organic creatures in the environment of the Sand.

It was because of this fascination that she discovered an ability to control her own internal energy; a force which she later heard was called ‘Chakra’. This new development gradually drained time from her studies at the forge and other manual labor, and after reading up on the theory behind the different forms of the manipulation of this Chakra she became familiar with the intricacies of the systems of Ninjutsu, and gained a basic understanding of Genjutsu.

This knowledge led her to delve deeper in to her own Chakra pools, spending days on end wandering around the inside of what some called her ‘soul’, and what she grew to call ‘the mind’. She undertook this meditation with a brass Buddha statue in her lap, weighing her body down so that she could appropriately think. She frequently cut herself off from the rest of the world and traversed the liquid-and-gas-world that was her mind. Because of this, she soon found that her body had a greater aptitude for Ninjutsu, and that she held a great affinity for using these techniques in the realms of work that she had previously busied herself with. Techniques for cutting, for moving, and for modeling: all of these became like second nature to her, and gradually she began making her own arsenal of weaponry. Her natural aptitude with blades did not deter her from making weapons in areas ranging from archery to siege and everything in between. After learning of the Summoning and Reverse Summoning Techniques, she went about creating a special seal that allowed her to summon these, and from there she endeavored on a quest to understand sealing techniques.

She dedicated only three months to learning the foundations and principles behind the advanced Ninjutsu that was Fuuinjutsu. During this time she moved back in with her father, Kuriigu, as she was unable to take on jobs to support herself. She delved further and further in to the theory and practice of sealing and gradually became aware of unexplained realms of thought. In her frustration, the young Bast began performing experiments and picked apart the schools of thought in this area to create her own theory, named the “Theory of Universal Transfer”, which stated that all creation was animate, and that Fuuinjutsu had the capability of imposing rules or restrictions on that creation to force it in to a certain state, or to make it perform a certain way. In short, she explained, through seals one could alter the shape of an area of space and time.

This theory led her on the path to Gunsei, a technique that bent the matter in according to a seal made with the hands and forced it to operate on certain parameters. She made this technique exclusive knowledge to those of her family and never explained the theory or demonstrated it to anyone outside of that small cluster until Sanshi Satetsu, a freshly-minted Genin, was taught the technique by Mamoru. Bast decided to trust Mamoru's judgment and began to teach the boy, but was sure to keep aware of any signs that he might betray the Village or leak the technique.

As a result of her studies and her training in martial arts (which she had never dropped in her pursuit of knowledge), she had the body composition and Chakra level of the highest Shinobi that had come about in that day. Her Uncle, Mamoru, became the First Wind Shadow to command the Sand Village through that time of change, and before admitting his niece as a Shinobi of the upper tiers, he had her test the newly minted ANBU system of the Sand. She passed through this with ease, and after being admitted in to the upper ranks of the Shinobi, found that she had nothing to do but pursue more independent projects.

More recently, Bast found an orphan during one of her raids on the slavers passing through the country. He was one of the few that could have been saved, so she took him back to the Sand Village and raised him until he was old enough to survive in an apartment of his own, at which point she gave him one. By this time, her second book on seals--then a widely-used book in educational institutions--was making enough money that she was able to expand and develop her own house and land, while still paying for the orphan's apartment and food. She watched the boy go through the Shinobi Academy, and later learned of his special abilities. It seemed that the boy, named Howaido Hatake, had a gift with weapons, but that was not all: he displayed the same traits as the Hatake Clan, which debunked all thoughts that his name was simply a coincidence. Howaido would grow through his life as a Shinobi, and would meet another boy named Sanshi Satetsu, who would become Bast's student upon returning from the Chuunin Exams.

A short while later, a powerful force assaulted the Sand's defenses before fleeing. The Invading Bandit Dude, a pollen-creature created by Jofuku flowers, had begun his strike. With the help of many members of the Village, he was repelled, although not without some damage against the Village. He retreated to an ANBU Outpost in the Wind Country that had been taken over by Jofuku flowers, and hid in a vast underground stronghold. A strike was lead against his stronghold soon enough, but it turned out that he was not alone: several other creatures, again the products of Jofuku, stood in the invading party's way. It soon became evident, though, that the flowers were not attacking randomly; a large horde of Jahinists disguised as Suna-nin had invaded the area in search of the flowers, and magnetic trees had chased the plants underground.

The Jashinists were proving to be a problem, though, so the Sand acted to rid the country of them by sending out Siniku--the head of the ANBU and Oinin organizations--to dispatch the group. While doing so, he activated the defensive properties of the Jofuku, creating the Invading Bandit Dude that would later attack Suna. The IBD, seeing the Sunagakure headbands on the Jashinists, decided to launch a retaliatory attack on the Village. This would eventually bring about his downfall, as with the other Jofuku creatures that followed him, when Howaido and San lead the raiding party in a last effort to get rid of the threat altogether and succeeded.

Even after all of the fighting and Siniku's slaughter of the Jashinists, many still remained in the Wind Country. It wasn't long before reports of them began cropping up in the old capital of Rouran. Bast, along with several others, was dispatched to the city to take care of the fighting, but they were to make a diplomatic stop at the forest of the Jofuku to ask for help. After convincing the Jofuku's emissary that they were not Jashinist, the group was granted help and the flowers created the first person that popped in to each person's mind. Bast called upon a name that floated up to her from deep within her mind, and was greeted by a woman named Anima, whom she remembered as an old partner from before she left the family household, even if she did not remember much else about that time. She greeted her comrade as an old friend, and found a vigor and energy that she had not known in years as the group set off for Rouran.

Upon arriving at the old capital, the group split up, with each person and his or her comrade--Jofuku or otherwise--forming a two-man cell. Most of the party went to immediately raid the city, but Bast lead Anima on a more lucrative and stealthy endeavor. The two began raiding the supply stores of the city in the confusion caused by the rest of the squad's attacks, and quickly amassed a large amount of loot, including something that came from the Miyamoto family: A trunk animated by Gunsei, designed and created by Bast's sister, Zyonu. What it was doing in the city and how it got there were both mysteries, but the golem's powerful legs and jaws made it a valuable asset in their raid. While it distracted the guards, Bast and Anima would slip in to the storehouses for confiscated goods, and when they were done, it would return to Bast. It ended up pulling a cart filled with pilfered goods, along with Bast and Anima, who were conserving their strength. There were many battles going on, and the two did not want to be caught at anything less than the peak of their abilities.

Soon enough, the time came for those abilities to be used. Bast launched a powerful, long-range offensive strike on a distant opponent in collaboration with several techniques launched by Anima. The attacks were successful in cutting off the abilities and attacks of the enemy, who retreated for a while, but Bast's approach to the fight worried her partner. Anima mentioned that the attack looked like something that Kybele would have done. Bast fell silent, the name stirring something within her, and only spoke again after Anima presented a short story to her about the goddess who was forced from her home. The two continued with their repossession of stolen and illegal goods until night began to fall, at which point Anima split off to fortify a castle against any potential attackers.

That night was long, and served as an important lesson in dealing with zombies and Jashinists alike. When the morning came, however, the fight began for their lives: The Wind Country was sucked in to a separate dimension that housed the deity known as "Lord Jashin". Bast, stricken with fear because of the unwanted transportation through an inter-dimensional wormhole, curled in to a ball and was carried to the exit by Anima, so she only witnessed the events transpiring through the Chakra waves that she received. Escape was long in coming, but when it finally arrived, the group was ejected in to the lowest level of the central spire in Rouran--the very same one that Bast had erected to seal off the zombie Jashinists earlier in the night. The group bid farewell to their Jofuku comrades and returned to the Village, their work done. Bast said her goodbyes to Anima, conflicted over something that she could not remember, and watched as the latter reverted to pollen before she left.

During the times that followed, Bast found many ways to keep herself busy, but none was sillier than her endeavor to clean the Village. She succeeded, but not without becoming a family-friendly superhero interested in the beauty of the Village: Community-Minded Woman! She followed the trails left by a serial litterbug, eventually meeting him at the hot springs where she, as the litterbug was gloating about how he couldn't be beaten, knocked him unconscious and delivered him to jail before he could get a second syllable from his mouth. With the Village clean and safe from the serial litterbug, she handed off the mantle of Community-Minded Woman to a child jokingly and returned to her normal duties. She stored the mask that she wore while she was Community-Minded Woman in a closet in her estate, although general opinion has it that the mask did little to conceal her identity and the public only went along with the charade because they needed a hero.

First Time-Skip: One Year

Disaster struck the Sand Village one night, as a large earthquake had triggered a tsunami that hit the port cities in the more Southern-lying areas of the Wind Country; these same cities held the aqueducts that led to Sunagakure, and because of the tidal wave, the Village was soon suffering under several feet of water. The aqueducts had burst in several places throughout the Village, and it was up to Bastet to solve the situation because she was one of the few Shinobi left in the Village who wasn't manning the Gates or asleep. With help from her golems, the woman was able to evacuate the area with the worst flooding and stop the rise of water long enough to climb atop the Gates and activate Uitenpen. The technique created miles of canals throughout the Village, siphoning off water to outlying lakes created by the same technique, and repaired the in-Village canals. With this, the water level finally began to fall.

Night became day and the damage to the Village could finally be surveyed properly. Human cost was almost non-existent due to the evacuations, but property damage was enormous throughout most of the Village. Reconstruction would be long and difficult, and while the residential areas were restored, Bast would occupy her time by having her golems serve food while she repaired tools, equipment, and clothing. As soon as this was done, however, she changed to a job that she enjoyed more.

For the next few months, Bast oversaw the architectural restoration and expansion of the Village, and made the canals permanent fixtures alongside Suna's streets. She also mandated that new and recently reconstructed buildings be built with extra additions on top of them: the residential district would have an extra level added to every building to compensate for future population growth; atria would be added to the roofs of public buildings, and would contain anything from small gardens to, in the case of Shinobi-related buildings, gardens of plants with useful chemical properties; and many other additions for other kinds of buildings. As soon as this was done, though, she quickly became bored.

To fill her time, Bast began to read a large volume of books again and started running experiments to further her own knowledge. Over the course of several months, she ran countless experiments, and eventually a mote of dust, a single memory, fell from the depths of her mind. She began observing Chakra current, and studied how to alter that flow. Studying Genjutsu became a part of this, but it only allowed for a very restricted amount of knowledge, and she couldn't further experiment without facilities of her own.

It was in this state that she was approached to head the Research and Development section of VOID. With a large government grant in hand, she built a large laboratory on the land designated for the organization, and quickly moved a large volume of books and test materials in to the facilities. It was here that she was able to set up a way to observe and record her own Chakra outside of her body. It was through this that she learned that, unlike most other Chakra that she studied, she could easily make her Chakra respond to musical influences, as if it had already been trained to do so.

As a direct result of this research, Bast began tuning up her musical abilities. She found that she had talent in the vocal arts as well as with strings, but found carrying an instrument with her to be troubling. At this point, another memory reached her, and she began experimenting with ways to alter her weapons to serve this function instead. The answer came quickly, and Bast quickly converted her main weapons to this style.

With this large amount of research securely tucked away and presumed completed, Bast turned her eyes toward the automatons. The Village had settled down somewhat since the previous clash and raw materials were no longer in such high demand, so she decided to begin running tests once more. Unfortunately, she was not able to glean much information other than what she had already uncovered, and so she suspended the research temporarily in order to further her works in other areas.

Description: After forming a peculiar seal with the hands, the user will be able to animate any nearby materials to take the form of something from his or her imagination. Only one factor affects the chakra cost of the technique, and it is the complexity of the movements that the creature can perform, also known as 'intelligence'. The basic creation will only take basic commands, such as “go over there” or “punch him” (A greater potential for actions costs more chakra). After creation, the creature remains until destroyed without draining the user’s chakra and follows instructions of the appropriate complexity. Based on the materials used, certain creations will behave differently (i.e. Steel is going to be stronger than stone, but slower). To prevent abuse, all creations and modifications must be approved by Ergo War. In addition, the following stipulations are in effect:
  1. Golems can use a technique if they have a body that allows them to do so. The golem must be able to perform all parts of the technique's original activation sequence (hand signs, movements, incantations, etc.) in order to activate the technique. The original creator must have specifically given a golem the ability to use a technique and must give it specific, direct commands in person to order it to use the technique. Transfer of information between golems over a distance drains 10 Chakra from the golem per post of transmission.
  2. Because they lack a Chakra network, using a technique drains Chakra from every single seal that the golem has at a rate of 1 Chakra per seal before doubling up on costs (i.e. If you have a golem with 30 seals and cast a technique that takes 40 Chakra, 10 of those seals will lose 2 Chakra and the rest will lose 1; drain occurs simultaneously). For techniques such as Sennin Moodo that result in gaining Chakra, the golems can serve as a conduit but cannot take in the energy for themselves unless it is sealed in by their creator. Techniques that do not specifically state that they have a duration in their descriptions drain the amount of Chakra needed to activate them every single turn that they are active.
  3. Dropping below the threshold Chakra for a seal (the amount required to activate it in the first place) reduces its effectiveness exponentially. Larger seals lose their Chakra first because of pressure differences. After losing 2 Chakra, the seal can no longer support itself and it disperses at the end of the exertion.
  4. Chakra may be restored out of battle by reusing Gunsei on the seal, restoring it up to and not over its max original Chakra. This still counts as one seal of the original seal's rank. This means that, to restore Chakra to an S-Rank seal, an S-Rank amount of Chakra must be exerted.

Description: A set of gauntlets designed to inflict pain, born in the aftermath of a great tragedy. It has two forms: extended and retracted, referring to the state of its antler-like protrusions.
Retracted: A set of studded white metal gauntlets. Every outward facing edge is sharpened greatly to make it function as a blade, including the studs themselves. A band of additional armor plating is present around the knuckles. The fingers of the gauntlet end in short, clawlike blades. The glove underneath the armor is made of a specially woven metallic fabric designed to protect the user and conduct Chakra to the rest of the gauntlet, and takes on the color of the wearer's Chakra (defaulting to black if the color is not normally visible, and white if there is no wearer).
Extended: The main body of the gauntlet is covered with white metal protrusions that curve around it and branch outward like antlers. These antlers protrude from the glove both forward and backward, with the backward protrusions weaving together to form an armored sleeve around the wearer's forearms. The forward protrusions are sharpened like blades and end in fine points, making them potent weapons in the right hands. The branching of the forward antlers is different for each gauntlet, allowing the wearer to perform hand seals as normal while they are extended.
Ability Summary:
• The wearer can pay 5 Chakra to extend or retract the antlers on both gauntlets. Doing so consumes no activations, but can only be performed twice per post (one extension and one retraction). While in extended form, wounds inflicted will bleed until healed. Those of an appropriate medical job can stop the bleeding, but overall recovery will be slow, taking one week per rank of the damage. Creatures that lack blood but contain another vital fluid lose that in place of blood. As a side-effect of this, taking a hit of at least B-Rank results in becoming grappled, as the cestus "antlers" become lodged in the victim's body.
• Blocking techniques used while this gauntlet is in extended form also count as disarming attempts. Unless the foe uses an offensive activation to pay stamina at the rank of the blocking technique, this disarm succeeds.

  • An additional rank in one physical aspect can be gained by sacrificing one in another aspect (including intelligence), to allow for some variance (i.e. +1 rank in speed, -1 rank in fortitude).
  • One rank can be subtracted from a physical aspect to grant the golem permanent usage of 1 E-Rank Jutsu that can be replicated physically with its feature set (i.e. Henge becomes a rearrangement of features), increasing by one rank for every additional rank sacrificed and capping at the golem's highest physical aspect. Only one Jutsu can be gained this way per golem and it requires one activation be spent to prepare.
  • This technique breaks if the golem is hit with a technique at or above this technique's rank. Breakage expels all materials used to create it as they were at the time of casting, including any techniques that were active on them.
  • Golems take a post to fully form and begin accepting commands in battle.

Description: A set of gauntlets designed to inflict pain, born in the aftermath of a great tragedy. It has two forms: extended and retracted, referring to the state of its antler-like protrusions.
Retracted: A set of studded white metal gauntlets. Every outward facing edge is sharpened greatly, including the studs themselves. A band of additional armor plating is present around the knuckles. The fingers of the gauntlet end in short, clawlike blades. The glove underneath the armor is made of a specially woven metallic fabric designed to protect the user and conduct Chakra to the rest of the gauntlet, and takes on the color of the wearer's Chakra (defaulting to black if the color is not normally visible, and white if there is no wearer).
Extended: The main body of the gauntlet is covered with white metal protrusions that curve around it and branch outward like antlers. These antlers protrude from the glove both forward and backward, with the backward protrusions weaving together to form an armored sleeve around the wearer's forearms. The forward protrusions are sharpened like blades and end in fine points, making them potent weapons in the right hands. The branching of the forward antlers is different for each gauntlet, allowing the wearer to perform hand seals as normal while they are extended.
Ability Summary:
• The wearer can pay 5 Chakra to extend or retract the antlers on both gauntlets. Doing so consumes no activations, but can only be performed twice per post (one extension and one retraction).
• Wounds inflicted with this gauntlet will bleed until healed by direct medical treatment. Treatment by someone of the appropriate Medic [Job] field can stop the bleeding, but recovery will be very slow if not healed by an appropriately-ranked medical technique. By default recovery from wounds left by these gauntlets takes one week per rank of the damage if not treated with a medical technique.
• Creatures that lack blood but contain another vital fluid lose that in place of blood.
• Anything that takes a hit of at least B-Rank is automatically grappled, as the gauntlet becomes lodged in its body.
• Blocking techniques used while this gauntlet is in extended form also count as disarming attempts. Unless the foe uses an offensive activation to pay stamina at the rank of the blocking technique, this disarm succeeds.

Description: A stance without physical characteristics defined by a shift in the flow of the user's Chakra. This altered flow makes the user's Chakra signature visible as a fog around them. Passive abilities of Doujutsu do not work against the user in this state and the user's Jutsu experience a sharp increase in potency as their forms are stabilized far beyond the norm. The user's Jutsu pierce through opposing Jutsu as though they were one rank higher and are not subject to elemental weaknesses, but do not inflict any additional damage to anyone struck. They also do not stop at the first target, piercing up to four before dispersing. Lasts for three posts, after which it may be renewed without consuming an additional activation.

Description: The user concentrates their Chakra into four spheres. The spheres orbit around the user and can be fired and/or detonated to produce a directed explosion at a rank below this technique. Each sphere can have any element the user possesses, including Maruton. The radius and orientation of the orbiting can be controlled freely, with the maximum radius being three meters and the center always being within 10cm of the user's body. Projectiles' movements and explosions can be controlled freely within 20 meters of the user, costing of one activation every post to control any or all of them. Explosion diameter is 1 meter per orb rank. Activating at E-Rank produces orbs that don't do appreciable damage if detonated but which appear threatening to sensory abilities, applicable enhanced senses, and Doujutsu. Lasts two posts plus an additional one post per rank.

Zyonu's Card Game:
Rules
  1. Deck Size: A player's deck must be no less than ten cards.
  2. Starting Hand: Players start by drawing five cards. Their opponent can then force them to shuffle any two back into their deck and then draw two more cards. Players' hands are shown at all times.
  3. Starting Life: Both players start with 20 Life.
  4. Turn Order: The first person to go is determined by player agreement or coin toss.
  5. Unit Scores: Each unit card has printed scores in the format: "Health//Strength//Fortitude". See "Attack" below for details on combat. Cards played from the hand have all of their stats at the printed amount.
  6. Card Ranks: Each card has a printed rank. Unit cards can only be played if they are E-Rank, D-Rank, or through advancement. All other card types can be played if there is at least one unit on either player's field of the same or a higher rank. This means that if one player has a C-Rank unit card, either player may play a C-Rank non-unit card.
  7. Card Effects: Some cards have effects that are activated when they are played or when a certain condition is met. These effects occur automatically.
  8. Actions: Each turn, a player can play one card from their hand and take one of two actions: Attack or Support. Players can choose whether they want to complete an action.
    • Attack: The turn player declares a target for an attack. Any number of the turn player's cards may attack that target once each, with both cards taking damage to their health equal to the opposing card's strength minus the card's fortitude, to a minimum of zero damage. If a card's Health drops to zero, it is placed in the discard pile. Opposing players can also be attacked directly if they have no unit cards on the field at the start of an attack, but only one unit card may do so.
    • Support: The turn player does one of the following: Draw a card from the deck, play a card from the hand, or advance any number of cards. Card advancement means replacing a lower-level card with a card of one tier higher (i.e. a D-Rank card with a C-Rank card). The lower-level card is sent to the discard pile afterward. Cards can only be advanced into cards of a similar type (i.e. unit cards stay unit cards).

  9. Turn End: Once an attack or support action is complete, the turn ends and the other player takes a turn.
  10. Game End: The game ends immediately when one player's life runs out or when neither player can draw any more cards. Whoever has more life at the end of the game wins; the game ends in a draw if there is a tie.
