General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.

The Course: Thunder Road
A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!

Course can be ran solo or in groups.

Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line!
Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.

Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly
Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.

Bonus Mechanics:
If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.

Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning.
Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You hit 0 HP!That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

With classes becoming a thing that Brute was told he must do, the wyvern once again found himself glowering at a dubious source of education: One winding, inclined trail that was perpetually being struck by bolts of lightening.

With his tail lashing and thudding against the ground behind him in agitation, Brute began to mentally psyche himself up for the challenge ahead, taking in deep breaths that huffed out through his nose. Lightening? Danger? Bah! He could totally take this challenge on, and defeat it, no problem!

There was a small, sniffly wheeze from behind Brute. Sent to join him on this adventure was one somewhat less intimidating wyvern. It had quickly read the atmosphere of danger and determination, and decided to do some psyching up of it's own.

Unfortunately it more closely resembled a gecko with a head cold.

The unexpected noise was enough to send Brute in a spin, turning him on his heel until he was facing the source of the wheezing sound, and letting out a surprised bark-like coughing sound from the back of his throat as he did so. He had not known that he wasn't alone.

Glowering at the other, far inferior wyvern, he huffed out a noise through flaring nostrils.

"I." He growled. "Am Brute!"

He wasn't trying to introduce himself so much as tell the other student that their presence was an unexpected irritation.

Abbie glanced behind itself briefly to see if there was something behind them that had the boil startled. But nothing presented itself. Abbie turned back and smiled brightly, revealing quite a decent number of teeth for one so... inferior.

"I'm Abbie," it replied, completely unphased by Brute's pointed introduction In fact, it regarded Brute with something resembling admiration. It sniffled again and inhaled through it's mouth like a sickly thing. "It sure looks dangerous, huh."

The smaller wyvern began rolling up it's coat sleeves, an activity that took quite some time, since there was a great amount of sleeves involved. Once it's pink-padded fingers peeked out, it smiled again.

"Do you want to go first?"

The teeth were given a passing glance, though he begrudgingly had to admit to himself that the sheer amount and presentation of said teeth was quite impressive, even for one so very inferior.

He snorted again when the....thing, had finished introducing itself and had made a comment about the thundering trail of death by electrocution that stood as their backdrop.

"I AM BRUTE!" He cried, this time, with several heavy stomps of his feet, which stood to mean that he did not care how dangerous it looked, because he was going to beat the absolute crud out of this lightening course.

And of course he wanted to go first. This was quickly demonstrated when he promptly turned back towards the trail, lashed his tail from side to side a couple of times, and then took off.

Only to be immediately struck by lightening.

Brute's howls and growls of sheer rage were mighty indeed, though perhaps not so mighty as the cracks of thunder that surrounded him.

So determined... Abbie felt in awe of the larger, tougher wyvern, and it watched with admiration as Brute continued to stomp and shout, before charging out into danger. It never considered itself particularly brave, despite it's love of curious exploration, but this boil was a shining example.

"Oh, ow..." Abbie snuffled, wincing as the arc of lightning made contact, heating the air around the boil. "Well, here goes nothing..."

It's own dash out after Brute was more nimble, moving like one who was very comfortable with their own physical abilities. Like a cat made out of rubber bands. Unfortunately the lightning caught up with Abbie just as easily as it's companion.

It yelped, and just scampered more quickly.

Brute had been knocked temporarily off of his feet by the lightening that had struck him, but he had scrambled up quickly, and with a fast glance behind him to see if the other had followed, catching just a glimpse of it before lightening struck again nearby, making him wince and turn to charge back up the hill once more.

Behind him, amid the loud clashes of thunder, he thought he heard a sound of distress follow a bright flash of lightening, and again, he turned his head just enough to see, before shouting.

"BRUTE! BRUTE!" Which, in his way, was meant to encourage Abbie into continuing on, the brotherly instincts that saw him always trying to make Wrex into a better member of their clan kicking in and making him actually want to see the other monster do well.

"Okay! Yeah!" Abbie shouted back, taking some encouragement from the other monster's repeated exclamations whether it was the intended purpose or not. Being the sort who would jump off a bridge if all it's friends were doing it, the young wyvern scampered after Brute with determined enthusiasm.

It felt another lightning bolt strike close by, the hairs on it's head standing on end from the ambient electricity. It was a bizarre feeling, in it's natural form Abbie never had any hair to worry about. Just thick, rubbery hide. Now it was wondering if it's larger body would be able to charge up the hill faster... or just make a larger target.

His shouts of encouragement were short lived, as a bolt of lightening struck too close to his feet. In an almost comical manner, Brute flew several feet to the side before collapsing on the ground. He felt tired, his body weakened beyond any capability to continue onward. Huffing out an agitated sigh, he punched at the ground with a closed fist, but the thud was lackluster, devoid of any real power.

It occurred to him after a few moments that there was no more lightening striking the ground all around him, and a glance around showed him why. He had been knocked off of the course entirely! Lucky, in a way, as it meant he would not be struck into dissipation, but inwardly he seethed at what he considered to be a further humiliation on his part.

Rolling over onto his back, he continued to just lay there, and stare angrily up at the sky, while in the back of his head wondering how the other wyvern had fared.

The lightning flashed up ahead, but the limber wyvern kept running. It dashed to where Brute had been sent flying, and leaned over the edge of the path. It's paddle-shaped tail seemed to stretch slightly, but kept it anchored quite securely.

"Brute! Hey! You are okay!" Abbie shouted, grinning widely. It remained completely oblivious to the anger and defeat radiating from the larger monster. "Wow, not even a couple lightning bolts can take you out, you're so strong!" It exclaimed, and then yelped as a lightning bolt ripped downward to strike nearby.
