If I help a few people along the way, that's just bonus points." Personality: Hiraite can either be seen as a remarkably beautiful or stupidly annoying person. The way he sees the world is different from the majority of ninja who strive to be the best at what they do. Their passions are being wasted in his opinion. If you want to become Kage, you likely waste multiple years of your life doing so and end up being tied down until you're too old to enjoy yourself anymore. If you chase revenge, you live a life of "what could have been" and have someone else chasing you down for their own revenge. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Well actually, there will be one guy with one eye left, and he would be the only one able to see. He admires determined people. They have amazing passion and spirit, but he just doesn't get it. Why tie yourself down like that? You give yourself stress, worry, and no doubt a variety of wounds and general pain.
With his philosophy out of the way, Hiraite is rather friendly and kind. He has no problems speaking his mind in almost any situation, especially if it messes with his moral compass too much. Still, though, it's obvious that the compass isn't exactly pointing the right direction. If someone asks him for help, it's likely that he'll say no. Trivial requests just don't fit right with him. If it's not his business and not an order, he'll likely turn down requests. The boy has a lighthearted demeanor and is quite the character in large groups of people. He can range from the funny guy to the storyteller, to the playful flirty pervert with ease, because it's all just fun and enjoyable for him. It makes people laugh, blush, and shine with beautiful emotion that he personally delights in. Despite though, it's not likely to see him looking for a romance. He's rather scared of the concept of love and deep-set care. Those are attachments that he's afraid of abandoning because he's so good at moving on that sometimes he doesn't even notice when he's leaving things behind. One of his biggest fears is hearing someone say "I love you." Or "Don't leave." He's much more content with simple goodbye's and "We'll meet again one-day"s. even if they never end up coming true. Everything he says, even in those awkward or rough situations, flows off the tongue with such a positive and light demeanor that most can't help but believe whatever he says.
Sometimes, he even fools himself. Such is why his code of Bushido is never truly broken. He doesn't even know that he's lying most the time, he's aware of that. When forced into a task he must undertake, he displays the courage to tackle it down, however, if the threat of death approaches, he will retreat. His benevolence isn't shown through how he reacts towards requests but through his music. As his father in the land of Iron said: "The boy can make a blade out of anything, play almost any instrument, but he and the way of Bushido turn a blind eye to each other, unaware of just how much they truly entwine."

He wants to be a face that isn't remembered, not someone that anyone can form a real connection to. He doesn't want anyone to care about him because it interferes with his way of life. • He hates bows so much. They trivialize the lives they take and are so impersonal that it disgusts him. He's afraid of either being confronted one day with a hail of arrows, or being shot from a blind spot and dying instantly. He doesn't want to go in such a pathetic, dishonorable way.

The Kohaku no Jōhei (琥珀の浄瓶; Literally meaning "Amber Purifying Pot" ) was a large pot that had the ability to seal anyone within it if the target responds when called by the wielder of the pot. If the person responds, the pot records their voice and then seals them. This function is similar to the Benihisago, but more advanced and less preparation is required. The pot has a stylised kanji for "lightning" (雷, kaminari) on it. The Kohaku no Jōhei is revered as one of the treasured tools of the Sage of the Six Paths. The Third Raikage used the pot to temporarily seal the Eight-Tails should its jinchūriki lose control of the beast. Guild Description: While physically touching the Pot, the target's name is called, & if they respond, they will be sucked into the weapon. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Musunde Hiraite is the son of Takahiro and Kyuna Hiraite, part of the royal family that dominates the Iron Country. After experiencing the harshness of battle through the multitude of civil wars held in the country along with multiple attempts on his life, Lord Takahiro made the decision that his son wasn't going to take on that lifestyle. Musunde had aspirations to become a samurai from the start, to defend the Iron Country rather than rule over it. He was cut off from training and quickly made to realize that his freedoms would continue to be impeded upon until he was of age to start his reign. Any swordplay he practiced was done in secret, and it was during one of these sessions that he was assisted in sneaking out of the country by his mentor. Ooranu, another Hakemoto and a best friend to Takahiro, but he couldn't stand to see the plight of the heir, the way it was tearing Musunde apart. The words "Stab me and run. Then never look back" have never left him.
After failed attempts at living in both Konohagakure and Kirigakure, the boy settled in Kumogakure under a new identity, spending over a year there while honing his skills. He is known in the cloud village as both a talented singer and swordsman, who was regarded somewhat as a hero following the attack on the village that claimed thousands of lives. While it did end up with him kidnapped, he still managed to save some innocent people and eliminate threats. Throughout his time as a Shinobi, he gained the attention of Kaileer, who was primarily his sensei through the bloodline that they both shared and similar talent in Bukijutsu. He built up a relation that could be considered quite close to a friendship with the Raikage, before assisting both him and his advisor in eliminating a new threat on the village. A guerrilla strike on the oppressive force that had been tormenting the village for months, one that had claimed the life of Wanryoku, and led to the 3rd Raikage abandoning the village.
Following that event and the injuries sustained for it, he was sent up to the iron country for a month in secret to resume training with his mentor. Not typical shinobi work, but hunting, trapping and killing demonic beings. Returning to Kumogakure on a new training regimen, Soraru now focuses solely on mastering his skills and protecting his village.

Nindo: "I just want to get stronger. I really don't want to lose anyone." Personality: Kentaro doesn't have any deep layers of personality or complicated, hard as steel boundaries to understand. All in all, he's a kid. A damaged one, but still a kid. He likes to play, loves feeling recognized and getting attention, and gets easily sheepish/embarrassed. The main signs of maturity that he shows are a willingness to follow orders and a dedication to his own personal goals. His less than charming attributes though involve a short fuse, and a smart mouth that's used as a weapon when his patience runs out and his temper takes over. Often times he has no filter and just says what's on his mind, and he has no qualms on pointing out things that are blatantly obvious if everyone else avoids the topic. The boy is not good at being very friendly, but he's okay with having friends. He's not outgoing, and some would even call him lazy, given how little he chases after things that don't benefit him dramatically. In terms of intelligence, Kentaro is no fool. His slick mouth and laziness are actually signs to tell exactly how much of a genius he is. You need a quick wit to make sly comments like he does, and lazy people are generally known to be some of the most intelligent, given that they can search for ways to finish things fast, while conserving the most amount of energy as possible.

Strengths: • His bloodline techniques are honed and reinforced, not only overpowering most techniques at their own rank, but also forcing Raiton jutsu to need to be a rank higher in order to destroy his techniques. • He's deadly proficient in terms of weaponry, from shuriken to swords, to even hammers. Weaknesses: • Raiton that actually manages to strike him has a strong effect on him. It makes him twitch, and a 50/50 chance rises that he'll mess up on hand signs and create incomplete jutsu. This effect lasts until he uses a bloodline technique, before he needs to be shocked again for it to happen. • Sacrifices skill in Taijutsu and completely loses most Ninjutsu in return for bloodline power. He cannot learn any Ninjutsu that doesn't involve his bloodline, past the basic academy teaching. Fears: • He has a strange case of abandonment issues, where he would go as far as to spin a string of lies to keep the people he loves from leaving him. He doesn't trust that anyone would want to stay with him unconditionally. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬Kentaro was born into the Land of Rivers, in a small civilization separated from the Shinobi and their affairs. Everyone within wasn't so much a rogue ninja, rather they were people who decided not to align with any village. Well, that wasn't the entire truth. The elder of the village was actually a nuke-nin with a bounty, however it was only him. At first everyone thought that their town was kept away from the attention of any major village for simple reasons, like not wanting major tax or not wanting to be caught up in wars, however it was all really just one big disguise for the elder to wear.
On his birth, Kentaro was actually fated to die. Due to multiple complications, he was...heavily injured, to save the mind from any description. Needless to say, as a newborn, he would have died if it weren't for the elder, who was luckily present. While medical ninjutsu was performed on him, the elder was pouring his chakra into the boy as well. The elders Shōton chakra nature ended up being mixed into more than just his blood, but it encased or even replaced both major and minor organs. In the end, those effected areas crystallized, however it was all necessary to keep Kentaro alive, keeping his body from falling apart while the medical ninjutsu slowly but surely did its work. In the end, naturally, this gave the boy the Shōton: Crystal Release Kekkei Genkai, as the chakra infused and mixed with his very blood and organs.
His years went by peacefully enough after that. They discovered that over the years, around eighty seven percent of Kentaro's insides were crystallized, however his body still managed to function, and the changes didn't leave any discoloring or mutations on his skin. His hair ended up growing out a deep blue, and his eyes lightened to a sky blue from brown, but that was the extent of his changes. But that's enough about his birth and its effects. The boy ended up in Konoha somehow, and this is the reason. It was simple really, and only natural, however it twisted the boy a fair bit. He was playing on the outskirts of town when he was grabbed by hunter nin, who invaded the town before his eyes as he was yanked away into the night. It happened fast, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He remembered struggling, but he blacked out at some point along the way out the town. When he eventually woke up, he was in a hospital bed, in a place that was bigger than any other he'd seen. Konohagakure. All that happened while he was ten, and he never really asked what happened to his family, and the others in his village, because deep down he really knew. The town had a fair bit of ninjutsu, and probably tried to defend the elder. They were all probably killed in the process, and since he was the only one from his town inside of Konoha, he imagined that there were no other survivors.
It took a good few years to accept the situation, but over that time he made friends and became a citizen in the village. It's still a wound, his past, but people thankfully don't really rub salt in it. Eventually he recovered enough to even enter the Konoha academy, which after a year of study, lead to the current time. Fifteen years old, and a Genin for the village that he can now call his own.

Takeda's post-timeskip outfit.
Takeda wears a black jacket, with white fur lining the hood and collar. It's insulated enough to help alleviate the chilling bite of blizzards, however does nothing against hyouton or suiton based ninjutsu. The mask, on the other hand, is made of black steel and helps to defend against attacks to the lower half of his face and throat. When using Koton ninjutsu, he can alter the dimensions and appearance of the mask, but doing so makes it less durable. With that, he wears dark pants with combat boots. Around the knees are steel plates that are faintly pointed, making knee strikes rather devastating if they connect on the point.
Beneath his clothing is a skin tight top of sleek steel. In the ridges are Koton steel, which can grab and latch on to blades if they strike there. In the event that a chakra blade stabs through the armor but hits a ridge in the process, it can be stopped. This makes the armor very effective against cuts and slashes, however it falters against straight stabs from chakra steel. The armor is sleeveless, as to not interfere with his Kekkei Genkai abilities. (Chuunin required for this. Until then, there's a sleeveless grey shirt beneath the jacket with white bandages wrapping around the arms.)

Kumogakure Chuunin - Musunde "Soraru" Hitaite
With more experiences under his belt, Soraru has managed to prove himself enough to reach the rank of Chuunin in Kumogakure.. His proficiency in both leadership and problem solving is undeniable, and he's a seasoned Bukijutsu practitioner to boot. With strong Genjutsu channeled through music and a moderate understanding of Ninjutsu, he has developed himself into a strong mix of Samurai and Shinobi values. Soraru's most notable trait is the ability to quickly think of a way out of nearly situation without allowing himself the trivial escape of sacrificing his allies as casualties. When bringing his Hakemoto bloodline into the equation, you've got an asset to the village with immense potential. His most commonly used States are that of Control, Healing, and Defense, however he isn't against using the state of Power for dealing with a stronger opponent or even using that of the Beast if he needs to let loose everything to keep his allies from any harm. As it stands, he has never used the State of the Demon. It's impossible to know whether or not he can perform it because of this.
All in all, he's a brilliant tactician for his youth who isn't afraid to throw down and engage an opponent directly when he needs to.
However, nobody is perfect. Soraru doesn't share close bonds with the comrades he protects, and because of that, they don't trust him. He is clever, however it can only be so long before his allies detect that the boy is hiding something. That he isn't being as truthful as they are, or that he always ends conversations short. He visibly tenses at being called a friend, and isn't above all out avoiding the people who do so. This is due to the fact that he's the runaway heir to the Land of Iron, and has been running from home for years. For that, he hasn't told anyone except for his Kage his real name. In terms of combat weaknesses, he has a hard time against bow users and Ninjutsu specialists who excel at long ranges. If he gets close, those weaknesses vanish, however his combat style is very direct and open for dodges after the first yet. That first hit, however, is often very unpredictable, unreasonably fast, and lethal.

Nindo: "I'm not letting another disaster take place. For the memory of the lost, I'll take whatever means necessary to both protect this village and avenge their deaths." Personality: Takeda is a determined little runt. He is stubborn, reckless, headstrong, and even Jounin have a hard time deterring him from what he sets his mind to. His goal is to constantly get stronger, and he undergoes any means to achieve that. With that said, he still has morals, a conscience, and tries to be as selfless as possible. The boy wants to be a hero, the kind you hear about in stories, or fantasize about when you dream. To fulfill that, he remains upbeat almost all the time, ready to accept any job to help someone in need. One thing that makes it hard to get along with him, is that he tends to not accept people until they prove themselves. If a person is too meek or shy to speak their minds, then he won't get along with them. If they can prove themselves in combat, then he'll generally open up to those types of people more. Otherwise, he can be seen as rather unfriendly or just plain rude towards them.
When someone actually does show that they're not just dead weight and actually want to help their village or fulfill their goals, Takeda is more likely to shower them in kindness. He has a good sense of humor, a grand moral compass, but being close friends with him can lead one into all kinds of situations. He's the embodiment of someone who absolutely craves adventure, and tends to have a minor obsession with shiny, expensive, or unique things. For that, he has a fascination with the unique swords of his village, along with any noble houses around. If he wasn't such a good hearted lad, he would most likely have become a thief.
What Takeda was before the incident of Kirigakure, before Sypher's mistakes, doesn't come close to what he is now. Angry, violent, and easily agitated, the boy is not one to have casual conversation with. Even if someone does talk to him, he's slow to talk and form proper sentences, as he's only just learned the languages of Kirigakure. Prodding at such a thing is just another way to get punched in the face. When under situations where he's forced to talk, such as being placed on a team, he's fairly awkward but earnest, and only treats those he considers somewhat worthy with any modem of respect. As it stands, only Jack has that honor, however Nozomi has the bare minimum of his kindness, as she bothered to teach him the village languages when she didn't need to. He's volatile, and only seems to find himself anymore in combat or getting stronger, that small dream he had when he was young still shining through.

Usually, when Takeda either draws his specialized weapon or gets sucked into the thrill of combat, his chakra takes on a different materialization. Like a mist around his form, while the bulk of his chakra forms the face of an oni around his shoulders along with behind and above his head. It gives a feeling of dread or fear from the sheer intimidation that drips off of his person when he's in that state. After all, it's when he takes out all of his built up pain.
Strengths: • Takeda has exceptional physical strength, enough that it's frightening in someone so young. His Taijutusu and Bukijutsu ability is pretty great. • His versatility is absolutely terrifying. While being an amazing close combatant, his bloodline also allows him to utilize elemental jutsu through the hearts of those he kills. This lets him use up to five elements with ease after he obtains more hearts. Weaknesses: • Takeda can't use Ninjutsu well at all without extra hearts. On its own, the most he could do is push chakra through a weapon. Without the use of his bloodline, any ninjutsu is absolutely impossible for him to do. • He's remarkably headstrong, and if he's egged on, can likely rush right into combat unless he's stopped by someone else. This counts towards even remarkably stronger potential opponents. Fears: • He's afraid of many simple things. Death, stagnancy, losing a limb, being tossed out of combat. Above all that though may be stagnancy. He doesn't want to fall into a place of laziness or lack of progress, and get sucked in eternally. • He's scared of failing people. He feels like the repercussions are much more severe than they actually are. In the event of it being more serious though, such as the possible death of an ally, he fears for their lives often times more than themselves.

He was born into one of the tribes within the land of waves, where they tried to separate themselves from Shinobi affairs and stick to a simpler lifestyle. They spoke only Korean, and didn't get along with the main village for that reason anyways. Only his blood father was a Jiongu in the small village, and for that reason he was usually the one who was sent to ally with other nearby tribes. It was dangerous work, and the fact that he was a pseudo immortal made him the obvious choice to send on that kind of job. When Takeda was around the age of twelve, his father was captured and killed by Kirigakure Shinobi who had been staking out the other small tribe. Apparently they had a history of capturing and killing Shinobi for their goods, and his father was lumped up with the rest of them. According to a survivor, they beat him into a bloody, messy pulp to make sure he had no hearts left. For that reason, Takeda bares a disgust for Kirigakure.
Over the next few years, he was the older brother of sorts to the kids in his tribe. They looked up to him. He was their hero. This escalated when he was given his fathers sword, Shujinko, and was given the responsibility of communicating with other tribes for supplies. It was through this work that he got a knack for stealth, strength, and killed his first man. A kiri nin who made the mistake of thinking he was a sacrificial jashinist. This gave him a Raiton heart as well.
When supplies began to run to an all time low and most the other tribes had been weeded out, his people decided to go to Kirigakure so that they could work for what they needed, much to Takeda's disgust. It was during this visit to the village that the flood happened, leading to the death of everyone in his tribe except him. With nowhere else to go, and nobody to turn to, the boy now has to swallow his hate and learn to live with those he despises. Knowing that someone around him could be the one who led to the death of his family makes him bitter, and he's sooner to attack someone than make friends with them.

Being another damaged child, hurt from the event of Kirigakure's Sero crisis, people tend to coddle to him or distance themselves from the boy entirely. Nobody knows aside from the Mizukage that Takeda wasn't initially from Kirigakure, but rather from a surrounding tribe in the land of waves. That takes part in making him quite impartial to the village and its inhabitants, save for Jack himself. People who have conversed with him are most likely to believe that he's either neutral in his speaking, or aggressive and hostile. Something that people don't tend to ever tag on him is manipulation. In conversation or most any other interaction, Takeda is very observant of reactions and personalities, storing them in the bank of his mind. He has no qualm with using any of that stored information for later use, whether it be through appealing to the personality of others or going as far as to blackmail.
In the aftermath of everything that's happened to him, it's obvious that he doesn't care about anyone on an emotional level, but has the capacity to make friendships, if his relationship with Jack means anything. Despite his ability to observe and manipulate, Takeda's tribal roots remain strong, and he reveals it with a very brash and impulsive exterior. People mistake such impulsive behavior as aggression quite often, when it's truly just due to him not being skilled or intricate in the way of conversing. He gets straight to the point, and often doesn't take care to sugarcoat or dance around the issue, indifferent to the feelings of those he talks to. It is almost never a matter of kindness with him, and never aggressive. Takeda's aggression comes off entirely different, with rude words meant to berate and demean who he's talking to. He raises his voice and absolutely oozes hostile intent in those moments, making him often trigger the "fight or flight" responses of others through sheer intimidation. It isn't too uncommon for people to believe that he's about to attack them, and if he can get away with it, he often will if deemed necessary.
Being friends with Takeda isn't easy, as it usually only happens when one proves themselves. Jack did so by taking the blame outright for what happened to both his tribe and everyone else who died, even though the boy could tell that he truly wasn't the killer. Once one proves themselves, and he accepts them as his friend, Takeda will tell the person that they can ask of him one free request. It's a final test of sorts, to see the morality in people before he accepts them. For Jack, it was to become his bodyguard. As an ally, the boy is fairly awkward, but loyal and good to the people he trusts. It's highly unlikely that a friend can change his brash personality, but he does show a relative kindness in his speaking, even respect.
Takeda's strange personality and emotional state came about long before the Sero crisis. He was a friendly, playful child up until the death of his father. Figuring out that he was tortured long and painfully due to his multiple hearts were enough to make him learn to hate, but what truly did him in was his lack of time to grieve. Making use of the only other Jiongu in the clan, Takeda was almost immediately given his fathers role of banding together the other clans and exploring the land of waves. He was given the family heirloom, a zanbatou reinforced with Koton, and was often sent out of the tribe on private missions. In his time where he should've been grieving the loss of his dad, he fought and killed someone who attacked him. A Shinobi from Kirigakure who mistook him for a jashinist, since he was in a dark religious tribe territory when an attack was launched on them. On his way out, he defended himself, and took the heart of the one who tried to kill him. It was purely instinctual, and he found some small comfort in those instincts. It was the start of the death of his innocent self.
The boy never wanted to enter Kirigakure. He hated Shinobi, but his tribe needed resources and work. In the end it was the worst idea they ever could have made. The death of everyone else he cared for absolutely destroyed his ability to love or be truly happy ever again. He can't help but think about what happened every other hour, and it fills him with a horrid mix of emotion that could drive a weaker being to suicide. It gave him the capacity to hate, and to feel absolute wrath. He makes up for his inability to show other emotion with his anger, and doesn't care who he hurts in the process of it all.
Takeda Shirai is miserable. What keeps him alive is knowing that he's the only one to bare the memory of his tribe, of his family. Not only that, but he remains among the living in order to make sure that nobody else can end up like him, wanting to prevent another disaster over anything.

Nindo: "I'll break the molds of limitation. Never will I give in when someone says "there's no way you can do it." I want to push through and become something more than ordinary. And if it kills me? I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees." Personality: With an unruly amount of determination and a serious drive to boot, Myo-nii is a force of will that shouldn't be reckoned with. He's always trying to push his body past normal limitations despite being smaller than a lot of the other kids who entered the academy. It results in bruises, muscle tears, bones breaking and other injuries, but it all only bolsters his resolve. After every recovery he goes back to training, and when he wakes up less sore than he did the last time he tried, he considers it a success. Never content with a small bit of triumph, he just goes to further limits and pushes his body even more. Being bullied for his small size, and told he'd never prosper like the others actually made him make a serious decision in his training. Once he started to incorporate chakra in his exercises, he laced his muscles with it, restraining them as he pushed his body. It resulted in all of his extra strength and growth to be compacted into the small frame he has, rather than gain any bulk. It was done with the simple purpose to prove everyone wrong.
This deep rooted need to overcome any obstacle stems from stories of his father, who went missing one day. Although his death was widely believed and accepted, the tales of him inspired the boy to be as strong as his dad, no matter what anyone said to deter him. His first goal was overcome when he learned to wield his fathers Nodachi efficiently, despite it being slightly larger than himself. If he wants something to change, he'll see it changed. If he wants to beat someone, they will fall before them. If he ever feels his body waver under the pressure of his trials, he will shun the pain and push forward regardless. All to stick to his own beliefs, to keep them solidified, and to become the man he wants to be.
In conversation, the boy is both confident and intelligent, although he gets a bit nervous and quiet when faced with someone with prestige and girls.. At times he can wander around aimlessly, both literally and in his words, quit the whimsical child.

It gives him another edge in close combat, and allows him to constantly reinforce his weapon when needed. Weaknesses: • Wherever he cannot defend with his black steel is significantly vulnerable. His small size doesn't do anything for his defense, with often sheer determination being used to pick himself back up. • His pride and need to constantly prove himself can make him an easy target, and can separate him from a team. He's quite easily prodded into fights or making other bad decisions. Fears: • Letting the ideal he's tried so hard to solidify fall apart. • Failing to meet the expectations of others.

The amount of emotional masks that a scared, always uncertain youth is never too surprising, as it's something fairly common in young Shinobi. What's astounding about Soraru, however, is how well he can keep up and balance those masks throughout his daily life. He blends them so well with his own personality that it takes others quite awhile before they get a good impression on him. Even when they do, that impression is typically dead wrong. When it comes to the truth of his name, he blatantly uses his family name with a false surname. That's due to the amount of people actually named Hiraite in the Iron country. It was the name of Soraru's ancestor, a famous Ronin whose name and style managed to make its way into the sword art by the name of Meiyo no Shi. It was also the name of the current lord of the Iron country. Naturally, other families both noble or not would take the name out of respect. The name Soraru came from a hero ronin by the name of Soresu who he idolizes, likely giving the impression that his family gave him the name "Soraru Hiraite" out of a love for lore, and a respect for notable fighters. His actual name, Musunde Hiraite, is one often spoken around the country, as the lord of the land has never stopped the search for his missing son. Unless one actually ties Soraru to that name, it's absolutely impossible to match him to his family, and discern that he's a runaway.
If he is ever caught in a lie, it's like because he wants the opposition to feel comfortable about thinking that they've caught him in something, whether it be true or not. It gives him more room to play into a certain personality or fit better into another story he weaves carefully. Otherwise he spends his time carefully debunking everything that they believe they've figured out, without ever confronting the other person. Once reasonable doubt is created, he finds it to be a win, then follows up by cutting himself out of that persons life indefinitely. He hasn't just been lying in the three years since left home. He's been mastering it into an art ever since he deluded his parents and everyone close to him while holding all of his pain and strife inside, all except for his mentor, the only one to know the truth. The only weakness in Soraru's impenetrable fort of dishonesty is that he's still just a growing boy. In the moments where things are just too much, he can eventually break down, not caring about lies or the consequences behind telling the truth. Those moments are the ones that reveal that he's not just a well-oiled machine, however are later considered moments of weakness when he thinks about them later.
Despite being quite lazy, believing strenuous activity to be something that "drains" ones "youth", his mind is ridiculously hyperactive, to the point where he's borderline neurotic. To him, every word, every uncharacteristic action, each display of emotion has something more to it. After thinking on it for a solid few moments in front of the other person, he'll eventually either tell his mind to shut up because there's nothing wrong, or continue to analyze every singe breath of the other. While it's a good ability to solve mysteries, it's a horrible one for someone who tries to appear as subtle as possible. That and his musical prowess has made him into some manner of a spectacle in Kumogakure. If someone he isn't familiar with makes an approach on him, it's either about his music, or his ability to solve things overnight, even if the latter does usually involve a restless night with no sleep. When it comes to his singing, he usually does so in Japanese, however occasionally speaks in English if the song fits better that way. Songs that reflect on his actual feelings are drenched in so much emotion that it can attract crowds. Same could be said for if he's performing with an instrument.
When it comes to little normal quirks about him, there are a few. When something is cool or interesting, he finds himself admiring such a thing, occasionally developing quite a "fanboy" demeanor. His last encounter with the ANBU captain is a prime example, as there's now the occasionally present thought of going through training to become one of the village ANBU. Gives his talent with lies, ability to think on the spot, and Genjutsu ability, he'd be great for roles that have to deal with being undercover or interrogation. In the event of being compromised, he has quite the skill in swordplay to fall back on. Another thing is an incapability to deal with women his age properly, most notably when they're in very close proximity. It's quite easy to get him flustered and blushing, unable to form coherent sentences, mostly because of his time in the Iron country. As the lords son, he remained in a high tier military residence and didn't have anyone close to him, save for his bodyguards and mentor. Despite that though, he rejects the thought of love, as he doesn't like the feeling of being unable to move on from someone else. He knows that bonds will just be complications for him, since he'll have to move on someday. He doesn't want anyone to be there when he does. To be just another face in the crowd would suit him perfectly. Unfortunately, being placed in a team has squandered his ability to go on unnoticed. He has his own plan for them though, one that'll likely result in pain for the two of them, but it'd be best for everyone in the end.
While Soraru does realize the pain he puts in the lives of others to keep his own secrets, his greatest skill is the ability to move on. He's been doing it ever since he left home, after all. To grow stronger and separate bonds. That's currently his purpose in life.
