 It's a normal day for you, whatever that entails, and you're deeply involved in whatever it is that you're doing. So deeply, in fact, that you don't notice the soft crunching of hooves in the snow until someone coughs. You look up and a pale stallion with a gentle smile is standing before you, expectant in in demeanor and expression.
"Wow," he breathes, shifted excitedly from one front hoof to another, "you look just like us -- I mean -- you would wouldn't you? I mean... you're one of us -- " he halts his speech and gathers himself again, clearly trying to parse through his thoughts. After a long, silent moment as you stare in confusion at the stallion, he finally speaks.
"My name is Lucian Misae... I'm related to you... somehow," you can see him struggling to regain his slowly scattering thoughts, "and I wanted to know... that is... I had hoped you would come... You are formally invited to the very first Misae Family Reunion!"Post 1 :: Introduction

Without getting into any sordid details, Lucian is trying to make up for some wrongs that he committed against his family when he was younger. One day, he heard his grandmother lamenting to herself and off-handedly that she missed her family. His grandfather then responded with he had no idea how big the clan even was, and that he envied Adelle, the matriarch of a close family friend, who had a very large very close knit family. This spawned an idea in Lucian's mind that grew into a mission which has blossomed into a journey. He's not going around the lands meeting others from his grandparents' line and inviting them to a family reunion that he's planning with his father as a surprise.
Those who he comes into contact with are welcome to decline, just know that Lucian is very persistent and doesn't read social cues all that well, so he's likely to outstay his welcome at that point. All that being said, he is a genuinely good stallion with only the best intentions at heart. He's even willing to pick up some Soquili and accompany them where they need to be!
