↣ THE GAMES ↢ ✖ Kikombe Send the tortoise shell over the goal line to score a point. The team who reaches 3 goals first, wins the game. The most popular game played. A team may compete with at least three team members. Both teams need to have the same number of players. So if one team only has three members, then it needs to be three on three.
✖ Ikikuwa Ikiuwa stands for war and like its name suggest, two soa enter onto the field and only one walks off. Its very rare that animals kill each other, but it has been known to happen if the fighters get too invested. This is soa vs. soa. If teams are involved, then up to three members may participate. Only two soa on the field at a time, a challenger from each team. The winning team is the one with the most victories. [We are still developing the dice system for this game.]
✖ More to come later.

↣ GAMING SYSTEMS↢ There are two different ways to play games in Kwa Kikombe: Strictly RP or Dice. Either way can be used for gaming. Below are some general differences. ✖ Strictly RP SRP is battling done completely through rp without the use of dice or any other system. This allows owners to dictate every aspect of the game. Please be respectful and don't abuse the system. ✖ Dice Gaming System DBS uses dice to dictate the outcome of the game. You're welcomed to RP while using the dice! It's just the dice will decide the outcome of the attacks. ↣ USING THE DICE ↢ The dice are your friend! Don't be afraid of them! It's really quite simple, and if you have any questions, feel free to PM the mule, SilverLutz, or Blu Chalk.
This is when it's important to have some good stats. For each stat point you have, that is how many dice you get to roll. For example, if your SoA has the shell and is playing offense, they will need to use their offensive stat. Let's say their stat is a 3. That means they get to roll 3 6-sided dice. The total roll is the only number you need to worry about. Next, the defending SoA gets to use their defensive stat to try to stop you! Let's say they have a 2 defensive stat. That means they get to roll 2 6-sided dice. If their total is greater than your total, they've stolen the shell. If your total is greater than their total, you pass by them.↣ STATS BREAKDOWN ↢ There are three different stats: offensive skill, defensive skill, and endurance. Offensive skill is used to bring the shell past defenders and to shoot. Defensive skill is used to try to steal the shell from offensive players and to block shots on goal. Endurance is a special stat. For each move that you fail, you lose one point of endurance (don't worry, it's just temporary!). Let's say you're playing defense and the offensive player gets by you. You take one point off your endurance. That player comes by again, but this time you succeed in taking the shell from them. This time, they lose one point of endurance. If you drop to 1 point, you need to get off the field for a break. If this happens, the play is stopped and the shell is given to the other team to start once your replacement is on the field. While your replacement is in, for every time they roll (whether or not they succeed), you gain one endurance point back. At any time once you have more than 1 endurance point you can return to the field.
Let's say you don't have any substitutes and you have to keep playing. If your endurance hits zero, you lose one stat point in all areas of skill. For example, if you have 3 offensive skill and 2 defensive skill, you lose one point, resulting in 2 offensive skill and 1 defensive skill. You can never drop below 1 point in OS or DS, though, so if your stat is already at 1, it won't change. The only stat that can reach 0 is endurance. When the game is over, your stats will return to normal.

↣ EVENTS ↢ ✖ All-Star Game A time of great celebration! Where all the best players play for each other and the love of the game.✖ Playoffs The elimination rounds. Teams battle for a chance to win the Kikombe. ✖ Final Kikombe The holy cup that all players wish to clutch in their paws! Only the number one team who survives the playoffs may be allowed to gain possession of the cup until next season.✖ Draft When a soa reaches their adolescence stage, they are allowed to finally pick a team to join. Coaches draft the most promising young talent in order to keep the team thriving. [Consider this a jrp for adol to join a team. It's ideal for it to be with the coach, but the rp can be completed with a fellow teammate.]✖ Recruiting Teams need the best players and must gather them by any means necessary. Kidnapping is an option, though it's hard to convince an adult to perform in a game when they're pissed off. We suggest snagging them while they're young. Or...you know... you could just ask for them to join.
