NEWS Government presents Friday several new surveillance methods that will make it easier for police to avert and prevent serious crime, writes Aftenposten.

Justice and Public Security Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) presents the new methods in a so-called informal press lunch at 12:30 Friday afternoon.
According to Aftenposten, the minister will present proposed amendments to the so-called Criminal Procedure and new methods police might be able to use.

According to the newspaper's information, the Government will, among other things make it easier for police to make seizures of email accounts without court supervision, also the possibility of covert audio surveillance in private homes to avert criminal offenses, it opens for increased use of false base stations to monitor mobile phones, and hacking of computers to read what is written and what is done on the machine.
