|
High Class
Monarch: (1/1) Ruler body of the pride. They lead the pride forward and make most of the choices within the pride, such as who is allowed to begin a harem. The Monarch holds court often to make decisions with select members of the pride.
Heir: (x/1) One of the Monarch's children that are chosen to take the place of the leader. They are normally chosen in adolescence or young adulthood to make sure their leading skills are up to par.
High-Middle Class
Commander: (0/1) The Head of the Soldiers and Guards. They are expected to keep the pride safe by commanding those below them in battle and basic patrol
Guild Master:(0/?) There are guild masters for Merchants and Artisans. They regulate trade within and outside of the pride as well as outside of the pride. They are very important in keeping up quality of the product that comes in and out of the pride. Guild Masters also decide who is to be apprentice in their field and have an eye for young members with good potential.
Oracle: (0/?) Seers of the pride that have started out as monks. They preach the word of the god that have blessed them, for the most part. They are often sought out for advise.
Law Speaker: (0/?) The Law-speaker is charged with knowing all the laws of the prides. They always start out as constables. Smaller crimes are often decided by the Law Speaker and all Law Speakers are elected in court with the Monarch's final say.
Middle Class
Soldier: (0/∞) Soldiers are generally a force to battle against outside dangers, such as other prides encroaching on their territory. When there is no danger, soldiers patrol with the guards.
Guard: (0/∞) Guards generally watch the borders of the pride. They allow in new members and turn away those who seem dangerous. In times of war, some may join the soldiers, but most will protect the children and the rest of the pride while the soldiers do battle.
Merchant: (0/∞) Merchants barter finished products for those raw materials that can be made into items. They control a lot of the goods within the pride. Some may even barter items for food, services, or favors.
Artisan: (0/∞) Artisans make the items that Merchants sell. They take the raw materials that Merchants get from trade and make them into items. In turn, they get more supplies, favors, or food.
Constable: (0/∞) These are the police officers of the pride. They deal with crimes committed within the pride. They do not deal out any punishments,
Monk: (0/∞) Religious members of the pride. Most of the time, these members stay haremless (which can make it popular with the rare hybrid). They practice and preach the religion of the pride and are most often seen telling stories to the youth.
Low-Middle Class
Apprentice: (0/∞) Young members that are just getting their footing in a trade. Many times they follow in the footsteps of their parent harem, or learn from one of their harem mates a new trade. All apprentices are part of the Ágamos Harem, though they keep their surname.
Youth: (0/∞) Cubs of the pride. All cubs carry this rank, regardless of status within the pride.
Low Class
Thief: (0/∞) Though not particularly high in class, theives can be an important part of the pride. Those who go outside to steal are charged with bringing back important information and items from other prides and packs (especially items that the artisans in the pride cannot make). (note: not all thieves work for the monarch and may have different ideals or ventures in mind).
Grunt: (0/∞) Grunts often do more odd-jobs around the pride - often more labor intensive than other things. They can be tasked with building dens or removing trees/stumps, to fetching water for a mother that cannot move from her spot. Basically a jack of all trades.
Spies: (0/∞) These members tend to leave the pride often, seeing what other prides are doing and making sure war is not brewing. Those who do not make sure no uprisings or riots start within the pride. They report back to the monarch.(note: not all spies work for the monarch and may have different ideals or ventures in mind).
Classless
Prisoner: (0/x) A member of the pride that has committed a heinous crime. They are stripped of their title, surname, and harem (if they are in one). SEE LAWS for more details.
Captive: (0/x) An outside member that was captured during a war-time crisis. These members may work their way into the pride if they prove their loyalty. They are normally sponsored by a harem with at least one guard/soldier/constable to watch their progress. If the convict was a leader/important member of the enemy pride, they are sponsored by the Monarch's Harem.
